New Cpanel Theme I really like the classic one
BuffaloHelp replied to michaelper22's topic in Web Hosting Support
Yes, that is the exact screen shot I've provided on the second image here http://forums.xisto.com/topic/29909-new-cpanel-theme-i-really-like-the-classic-one/ This topic is going no where. All I can see is argument going back and forth. If you want the cPanel to look like this cPanel Blue Laggon then Xisto's isn't for you. Thank you. -
nelimitat,If you feel that you are dissatisfied with Xisto's service you are welcome to find services elsewhere. We do not want to provide a free web hosting service and all we hear is complains after complains. Didn't occur to anyone that because someone is messing around with the database that it shuts off to protect the server? guangdian,For weeks there have been announcements about moving to different servers and few difficulties members might face. Yet each and every time some hosting issue arises, everyone starts to post what kind of horrible experience that they are having. This is unacceptable people!

So have you read the README file? Try this. Additonal reading Click here. The reason might be that you're using the wrong username to login and password.

Member owns a domain name and it is properly pointing to the right nameservers.OpaQue has been notified of your situation and sit tight until he resolves this issue.Thank you.

Members should anticipate the confusion and post every account information as much as possible. This goes out to all members who are going to inquire about their accounts.First of all, do you have your own domain. If so, is it still pointing to ns1(2).trap17.com? That will explain why you are seeing the suspended page. Again, I have to guess since you have not provided any relevant information to base anything.Secondly, you are hosting through Xisto - Web Hosting and are you using subdomain of Xisto - Web Hosting or still using the Xisto.com' subdomain name?
-
Just to rule out any posibilities... did you upload to the public_html folder or www folder? Did you use FTP or cPanel to upload?

New Cpanel Theme I really like the classic one
BuffaloHelp replied to michaelper22's topic in Web Hosting Support
You are telling me you rather sacrifice the performance and command control over what looks the prettiest? Well, whatever floats your boat... -
sigh...so quick to blame on something without trying every possible solution... I too can see your site just fine without any problem. Which means the problem is at your end. Either you are causing your browser to block this site (IP 69.50.188.18) or your cache needs to be cleaned out, make Xisto.com as your trusted site, your ISP may be blocking or your firewall decided to block it automatically. You need to be more specific as can you still access your FTP? How about cPanel using this link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ?

Elegost,You are not hosting currently which means your current hosting credits will never go down UNTIL you are a hosting member. One of the biggest misconceptions is that people will wait until they earn 100 credits (for example) and then apply for hosting account. They think this will leave them with 90 or 70 credits for either plan#1 or plan#2 respectively. This is not so. Everyone's hosting credit will reset to the default amount (usually to 2) once the activation is complete. This is to prevent members applying for hosting and disappearing until hosting credits need to be replenished.Just a reminder IF this was the case you had in mind.Thank you for your attention.

A Simple Animated Banner... ... on a black background.
BuffaloHelp replied to Cerebral Stasis's topic in Web Hosting Support
I can take mama soap's comment bit further and ask, Cerebral Stasis would you like to make another banner for other members to use? Perhaps with white background or transparent so that it may fit other websites? -
You are, then. already in the public_html folder. So what seems to be the problem here? You upload your phpnuke theme files to main/{proper folder dir} You must use QUOTE tag even when listing directories! Leave these alone. These directories are used when you install scripts in the future. The images is a default directory for storing all your picture files, although you are not binded to it. Looks like you installed a chat script and icon folder either created with it or by phpnuke or you made it. And "main" folder seems to be what you named the directory when you installed phpnuke. So what's the problem again?
-
Did you read pinned topic about WsFTPPro? You have to enter the directory called public_html. In there you'll find the files you see through your cPanel File Management. WWW directory is just a short cut link to public_html. All your web page related files should be under public_html and its sub-directories.

Edit --option We Should Have An EDIT Option
BuffaloHelp replied to Eminem's topic in Web Hosting Support
So you didn't bother to look though our pinned topics... if you did you would have found this http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ post (which is right here in the same section you made your topic) explaining why EDIT feature is disalbed. Use REPORT button, located at the bottom of every post, to tell moderators what needs to be edited or what is spam. Thank you. Topic closed. -
I was told that it is customary in United States to refer to as "she" if you do not know the gender or speak kindly of inanimate object. For example, you pet your neighbor's dog and ask, "how old is she?" even though you do not know the right gender. And the other person will either correct you or reply without a hitch. United Kingdom is so used to saying, "god save the Queen" that calling anything precious "she" wouldn?t be much of a problem. A Nation is also preferred to be called as "Her."The same goes for calling a car or a ship (there are others but these will do for now). Bill buys a new car and Jack comes over and complements Bill. Bill replies with, "isn't she a beauty?" Captain Ahab looks to the horizon and finds Moby D. He shouts, "tharrr... she blows!" US Navy always referred the naval ships as "she."I don't know why but perhaps it's men's point of view in beauty that shaped the language. And perhaps it's man's inclination to call everything else as "he" in reflection of oneself...making it known the egotistical character of male dominance.

This information has been circulating and you can find it by searching the forum for key words, "hosting credit" and you will find this post http://forums.xisto.com/topic/6147-posting-activity-rule-automated-hosting-script-know-about-how-this-system-works/ and under HELP > Xisto README and again under the shoutbox "Xisto Readme." Although it is not specifically discussed as I have, for example the credit you earn per word because it's an average calculation based on my own post, but it is the very REASON that moderators and administrators are promoting "do not post one-liners" and "do not spam the board." It is always a good idea to read the manual to everything.

New Cpanel Theme I really like the classic one
BuffaloHelp replied to michaelper22's topic in Web Hosting Support
Ah..mmm...you should check it again. Xisto's cpanel is[gallery]http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/] and the silver/green skinned cpanel is [gallery]http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/] So in actuality, Xisto has the updated cPanel release. But the skin (which has nothing to do with the performance of your cPanel) is still the old theme. Would you really exchange performance verses aesthetic value? Access your cPanel and look at it on your bottom left hand side. -
I wouldn't change it any other way. Thank you Plenoptic! I'm always looking for a good font and I like what you used. If you care to tell me which type... I don't know if you knew this but green/greenish hue is one of my favorite colors. And I like the render you've chosen...it looks very determined HA HA HA something I lack these days... Thanks again. It will be added to my signature.

I can't trust any program which operates this poorly and prematurely. The owner should've gone with OpaQue's dedicated server plan... -

Take this time to review our Xisto README found in my signature area. First you need to be qualified for free hosting through Xisto. Second make sure you have the domain name purchased before applying for hosting. Then, during activation on your hosting account, enter your purchased domain name instead of subdomain of Xisto. Finally, enter your domain name control via Godaddy and CHANGE ONLY your nameserver tons1.trap17.comns2.trap17.comMore can be found in Xisto README file. Please search the forum before making a new topic.Topic closed.

Whoa, NICE!! This will be added to our collection of banners http://forums.xisto.com/topic/125-user-contributions/ definitely. Excellent work, Plenoptic. I think Xisto Graphics Crew could use your hand in some future requests. Thank you.

468x60 & 88x31 Banner/ Button Request (FINISHED)
BuffaloHelp replied to XRated's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Search the forum and you should've found this section http://forums.xisto.com/topic/29833-rules-read-this-before-making-a-sigbanner-request-rules-regulations-update/ for banner or sig requests. As far as your buttons go I'm sure someone can come up with it. -
You do not need to request anything. As soon as you bring your hosting credit above 4, automatic reanimation script will bring your hosting account from suspension in about 1 hour from your positive credits. Please, this subject's been covered over and over again. Search the forum before making a new topic. Thank you.

Google Earth Easter Egg stuff not usually there on regular maps
BuffaloHelp replied to lucentio's topic in The Internet
It would be nice to see the actual footage of what you are talking about. Because anyone can go around and say I saw this and I saw that...Any screen capture you can share it with us? Or to be more specific any specific coordinates we should go and see? -
Registration Error? why cant i registrate?
BuffaloHelp replied to realthor's topic in Web Hosting Support
realthor,I'm sorry you're having problem with our auto application script. Perhaps there might be an issue with our new server, although past few applications were posted without a hitch. If you think the firewall is creating an issue, I strongly suggest that you apply using your home intrenet connection. It is important to know that some IP has been denied of certain privileges due to abuses in the past. Try again from your home and see what happens.NOTE: Moving to Questions & Queries
