[beta] Firefox 2.0 Beta 1 Bon Echo Alpha features locked in.
Chesso replied to sparx's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I completely missed that one, a built in spell checker? Wow isn't that going a little far heh heh. I suppose if having spell checkers in browser software became a standard thing to do it might save forum administrators some bandwidth on having them built into the forums -
Heh heh, I learnt purely by Trial And Error and Searching the internet.I don't like Books or Teachers much, Iv'e probably learnt more my way but that's because I am motivated to do it.

Is Your Internet Speed Good Enough Vs. Cost ?
Chesso replied to Cookiemonster1405241499's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I pay about $70/$80 depending on Telstra's mood for 512/128k ADSL with a 10gb bandwidth cap.I feel it's too much to pay for a scummy 10gb cap. And also the fact that they are too lazy to get off their bums and make it possible for me to have Cable which is cheaper and faster.I live in Sydney for crying out loud, not the outback.... -
Uhhh wow, well I have only been using computers for the last 4 years so I'm a bit behind some of you guys. I got into things pretty early though.I started off with playing around in mIRC on MSN Chat when it used to be free about 2 weeks after I got my first computer (Win95, 2m Vid Card, 333mhz Celeron, 64mb RAM, heh heh).I learnt how to do mIRC scripting and got into doing dialoged script heavily for abot 6-8 months and then came across Visual Basic 6. I pretty much left the mIRC/MSN scene and it was around the time that MSN introduced having to pay for it and such around that time anyway.I did VB6 for about a year or so, just making MP3 Players and stuff that I used myself, played around with WinSock and such doing IM applications etc.I finally had, had enough of VB6 and Runtime dependancy's so I did some searching, tryed C++ (Bit too difficult for me at the time), Python (God awful POS). And then finally I found Borland's product Delphi (Object Pascal) which I love and hug each and everyday , I haven't switched since, so about 2 and going on 3 years now. I do use C++ often now aswell for Dynamic Link Library's and even played around with QBasic (What fun) on Windows 3.11 on an old laptop when my computer died and couldn't get it up and running for about a week.I also learned HTML/JScript/VBScript/CSS/PHP/MySQL and various other web programming and probably other scripting languages aswell along the last 4 years.

Chesso replied to warallthetm's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Yeah it does look nice. But isn't it supposed to be Sk8 or Skate?I haven't seen any use of both together, the word mind even become popular heh heh.I'm an ex long time skateboarder so I would probably like it whether it was good or not -
Wow a $100 mouse? is that US dollars?I would never pay that for a mouse shesh..... hell not even a mouse and keyboard and speaker combo!I just use the Microsoft Keyboard/Mouse bundle, works fine for the most part, I suppose someone with money to burn would be interested in this or somewho who feels they need it.

[beta] Firefox 2.0 Beta 1 Bon Echo Alpha features locked in.
Chesso replied to sparx's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Does this come highly recommended? I'm still using the latest version that is on the main website but Iv'e been hearing about this BETA version of 2.0.I don't really see anything in that list that really affects me all that much but maybe there is some other small changes not listed? -
Astahost On [myspace]-[orkut] -> All Members Invited :-)
Chesso replied to OpaQue's topic in Alerts, News & Announcements
Wow only just noticed this thread, Iv'e been gone for awhile though. It's a good idea but I don't like MySpace and *friends lol* very much.Oh be carefull too with MySpace, I don't know about other people but quite a few larger MySpace profiles and such seem to crash every single browser I have tried.Hope it go's well. -
That's right, just because the name isn't well known doesn't mean the products or services they offer are not any good or as good as any other.I personally vouch for AVG Free Edition, it's free and seemingly does the job, what more could you want? But of course there are plenty out there that are just as good, so I think anyone with the time should atleast check a few out and see what they like best.

Pirated Software: Legalised For $1/Copy In Indonesia
Chesso replied to nakulgupta's topic in Software
I believe it's mostly businesses and those making money from pirating software that need to be cracked down. Obviously they have no excuse at all and selling someone else's work in this case has been wrong and rattled through our heads for decades.Anyone remember the ads that ended up on most VHS tapes about pirating? -
Yeah.... wow, a long article too heh heh. Very thorough though I have to admit. It certainly looks like all of your'e posts are quite large, unrolling is what I would call it, just explaining a shorter thing in more detail or adding little bits and pieces that are relevant.

Ahh well no need to nitpick, Iv'e seen articles and such written in newspapers and other forms of media with tons of spelling and grammatical errors. Either that or it just doesn't make any sense. Anyway, If I can understand then everybody else should be able to aswell unless they have problems in which case, well as they say it is their problem.

Wonder if they will include the emoticons aswell lol those emoticons were kick *bottom*!The only reason I would try this is because of the window scrolling bug that they fixed (Though they probably consider it a feature) so I might just have to grab it tomorrow when I get up. -

The shared folders feature might be all right to share a few certain things with a specific person but they really should have made it possible to merge priviliges with multiple contacts for easier and less annoying access to the same files.I haven't tryed it as of yet, i'm kind of afraid it's going to bump off my old version which it probably will, is the GUI even any better then the old one? -

Chesso replied to dhanesh1405241511's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I prefer to stay with an older version or use Google Talk once they have fixed it up a bit. However that fix they made for it not scrolling down is one of the most annoying things I found with the older versions... -
My computer is almost always on the internet whether it be me, my misses or one of the other family members.I spend a bit of timer playing online games, chatting on msn messenger, software programming etc etc.I would say quite a lot, probably too much lol.

I just signed up and had a go, it's actually quite fun to play, though really daunting at first when deleting logs and things, takes me ages!!!!!.I can't wait to finally get enough to upgrade lol and perhaps a more secure account at a more secure bank.Btw how does warez selling work? I have uploaded a program w/e and the other file but slaves section still says I don't have some virus installed, Do I need a warez virus aswell and install on target?

Was it working before? lol. Perhaps something was upgraded that might have broken it meh. -
Well it is an inconvenient and possibly troublesome feature but yeah I suppose there would be a number of people that would find that option useful. You could hook your'e bank account up to Paypal though couldn't you and transfer to it perhaps? Though you have to give up quite a number of personal details to set that up I suppose.

Freewebs Going Down Hill my reason for switching
Chesso replied to anime princess's topic in General Discussion
Yup I certainly can't complain about the services offered here and nor the community at all. Both seem very well intact and quite mature. Freewebs was all the rage back in the day but lack of things such as support for PHP really brought it down. And as I said before, many services basically promised years ago have only recently been implemented and now all this rubbish with huge ads and what not, it just doesn't cut it really.Plus the capacity has gotten smaller, file size upload limit isn't very good and I think you have a limit on pages as well as files in general as mentioned above. -
Adobe Threatening Microsoft May strike a deal
Chesso replied to Alegis's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Pay royalties on a format that is annoying as hell? ahahaha you got to be joking. Who pays royalties on mp3 codecs, I thought it was meant to be copyright and blah blah blah aswell, nobody seems to really care.....I would more then likely say it was implemented for the user then anything else and if they didn't actually use a product of Adobe but a file format.... can that even be copyrighted as such :|I mean if they used for example, adobe.dll something or rather to load or save in that format that was made by adobe. But if they made their own.... it sounds a bit stupid that they can get in trouble for it.There's only so many ways you can do things.... -

Are you sure it is even supposed to be automatic? Maybe an Admin or other appropriate staff gets notified of someones account when it go's under (imagine lots of accounts, ouch!).I figured one would have replyed to here by now if they knew what was going on so perhaps not.EDIT: Ooops I see now, the post is pretty new that's why heh heh.
