The last book i read was "princess".....Its a true story about Saudi-Arabian royal families....It reveals the secrets of the Royal families there ...their lifestyle and how woman are mistreated there...I don't remember the author..but the book was really good.....When you read it...you will be surprised to find such things are still happening in some parts of the world......

I do a lot of p2p downloading and i feel utorrent is the best....I haven't tried all of them, but still i believe it because almost all my friends use it...I live in Hostel and It is the most popular p2p client here..... It has many simple and impressive features....... The scheduler lets you schedule your downloading as per your needs...... It lets you limit The downloading and uploading speed of individual downloads as well as all of them ...... you can limit the amount of uploading to a low limit ...just keeping in mind that the max. download speed is about six times the max upload speed (in utorrent)...... There is a lot of support for it...it warns you in case of a malicious download....regular updates are available.....what more do you expect from a p2p client......

I use Nod32 and i like it...even if i know there are more secure antiviruses out there....I like it because its simple, easy to use and most importantly not as dominating as others...The other antivirus programs just take control of your PC and keep popping up alerts and disturbing you....what's more, they don't get uninstalled easily and make your PC slow...I have seen antivirus programs who don't let you install other antivirus programs......Nod32 is user friendly...and it gives us space for our normal work on PC...unlike others who keep showing up alerts as if The PC user has nothing to do except removing viruses and Trojans......I think antivirus should silently remove viruses..without bothering the user and without using much ram...

Thanx for the link....the game looks great...Really looking forward to it......I am a PC gamer with a normal graphics card....so i don't think i 'll be able to use its graphics to much extent.....but still lets see what it has to offer.......

Oh...i didn't know that....i mean i know such things happen in china and malaysia....but i didn't expect such things happen in america too......I am sorry for my comment.....but i bet such things are not as common in the west as in India....

i have sony erricson W810i ...and i like it a lot ...i hv taken it after a lot of thinking n surveying....i had a cheap motorola phone earlier...but i am satisfied with the one i have now.....i like its sound quality as it is a walkman series phone...i plan no other phone in the near future.....but i think i'll try iphone or some windows mobile.....

Lot of people have had experiences of their dreams coming true...and people just think that they have started foreseeing things...but i think it's not true...people just love relating their dreams to reality....Just think this way...we all dream a lot...so their may be instances when in our real life some events may happen which may be closer to our dreams...and we think we are foreseeing things when they may be just pure coincidence...If some such coincidence happens to a guy, he just goes about telling everyone...and after many retelling ...the story is twisted so much that people think the guy has some psychic abilities.....anyways we are going off the topic...yeah , its true that we don't use much of our brain...some use more and some use less....i have had a few very brilliant friends who could solve tough logic problems much faster than most of us...but the question is how does one develop his thinking power....and the answer i have is, using it more and more....even the genius friend i am talking about had the habit of thinking deep in every problem given to him...not mugging up things as most of us do....so if we work the brain more and more...it will develop more...we just need some good brain exercises...and their are sites who are good at it...one such site is funtrivia....

XP is already so easy and simple....i don't think its worth stripping it down unless you are using it for a few specific tasks...but yeah, Its a good idea to strip down vista....i really feel it has some unwanted programs and we can strip a lot of things in it and make it much faster than it is now....The best thing is, that we can make it as we want it to be...Only if it works normal after that...i mean i doubt it will crash frequently....

I think you don't need to teach people what are viruses...because guys who need to know about it are regular PC users, who of course know .....yes,of course you can tell people the difference between virus, Trojan, spyware, malware etc...because that is something even regular PC users don't know ....but that's not important....we need to tell people how to fight against it...what to do if their PC is infected...many people leave it on a stupid antivirus...and if it fails to remove the virus.. they just opt to reinstall the OS....which is not a good idea...You can of course remove the virus from your system someway or the other if you know that its present....people just think it can't be removed...

I feel NFS most wanted was the best of all of them...The best thing i like about it is its graphics...real and impressive...I think it is the closest to reality among all these games...racing was fun too...but yeah i must admit that winning in NFS MW was a lot easier as compared to the others ...but still MW is the best...The later versions disappointed me in graphics because i play on PC and they were meant to be played on ps2 on ps3...NFS MW ran well on my PC which has 8400GX so i think it is the best...

I use Firefox and now i have started to use chrome, just to check it....I think Firefox is way better IE...now maybe chrome is giving it some fight....but i still feel Firefox is better.....but its been a couple of days since i have started using chrome...so i think i will be able to review it better after a few days...as far as speed is concerned, i think chrome is a bit faster than Firefox, or may be i think so....because that is what we are all expecting from chrome..... yes, that's true...but we must see that they are coming with good products too...I heard the same thing everywhere when they launched their messenger gtalk....in fact, even i believed that Google will fail to do something good ....but we all were wrong..gtalk is really good.... Chrome has a simple and impressive design and it is fast ....lets see what it can do...

I have played warcraft and i found it really amazing.....i haven't played the others mentioned here but i think i will try them sometime later....

i have nod32 in my PC and i update it daily ...but still i have many viruses in my PC....it is because my OS has got quite old ...and my hard disk needs a format...i believe its impossible to keep a virus-free PC at home...i don't know how the servers manage...my PC has got very slow..it takes a lot of time to load programs at Startup...There was a time when i left my PC without antivirus for few days and my PC got flooded with viruses...my task manager was disabled...not disabled actually...it showed up for a second and then crashed....My internet explorer home page changed to something i could not change.....I got all types of error messages about files getting corrupt and all.....and when such things happen i always wonder why these stupid viruses i made...i mean what the hackers get by slowing our computers or crashing them....

hey...i have got fifa09 installed in my PC....i have nvidia 8400GX, so high graphic requirements is not a problem...... I found the graphics really good....better than fifa08... A few things have changed considerably.....i found many different things in the game.... 1> The major change i found was...The goalkeeper...... Ok fine the goalkeeper might be recovering faster...but it leaves nothing to recover..the ball is already in the nets....I mean....Its very easy to score goals past FIFA09 goalkeeper....Most of the shots on target convert into goals.... In 09...if you get past the last defender, your job is done.... 1-on-1 with the keeper means a goal most of the time,which was not a case in fifa08 where the keeper somehow got a hand on the ball......It was only for a few angles that we could score... So we can expect high scoring matches,unlike FIFA08,like FIFA07..... 2> Keeping the possession and dribbling Ok...i found it tougher to keep possession in 09....The players charge very quickly...and you have to rely on first time passes to keep the ball yours...so the game has got much faster.... dribbling is a bit tougher as the players somehow get something on the ball...and i think the players take a lot of time to recover after losing the ball..... 3> graphics yes, the graphics are as expected more realistic........ all in all.......it didn't impress me in the first shot...but still i will try it.....let see what more has it got for us..... when i had first tried fifa08 after 07....i didn't like it too..the major reason was low-scoring matches...but with time i started to accept that 08 was a lot better than 07....because it was closer to realty, if we just forget the super-goalkeepers that 08 has.....it will take some time to get along with it.......

hey......you can expect such things in india only.....so i don't think you will get any positive answers from people of the west...but still, let us see....

hey....i have heard a lot about PHP and MySql, there are a lot of articles about it and every bit of help is easily available...its a lot easier to set up PHP with MySql....but talking about VB...i didn't get anything convincing... I know it can be done...if not as easy as Php. I have a school project in which i have to connect VB application to a mysql database ...please tell me the easiest way to do it...I have books which tell a lot about VB and oracle....about there connectivity and database usage..but there is no mention of MySql...I think its not a popular method..but still i have to do it...please help

hi, learning a programming language is not really tough, you just need to have interest in the language.....i know you are searching for a good tutorial, but tutorial is not going to teach you everything about programming in C++Tutorials can just teach you the language, a good one can teach you in a more organised way...OK fine, but using the language in the right way is something nobody can teach you, you have to learn that yourself...learn by doing things...people pick up a nice tutorial which claims to teach C++ in one month, and they start reading it, one chapter each day, and at the end of the month, they think they know the language....but they don't ...In programming you learn by doing things yourself...you can't learn swimming without jumping into water....So whatever you learn, try implementing it, and start making small programs, think how you can use things in programs.....cyrusX was right about writing algorithms....they are the most crucial part of programming......Just pick up a tutorial which covers everything, and start doing things....don't just read them...otherwise you will learn C++, but not how to program in it...

AK is the best, if you know how to use it...M4 is also good....i liked it when i started playing CS....i still like it, but i feel AK is the best....The only thing is, you need to learn using it...as you go on improving your first shots, i mean when you start getting accurate with your first shot, AK proves to be a better option...its cheaper than m4, that adds one more point to it ....when we play in CS tournaments..they usually keep the starting funds low, so wasting money in m4 and AK is not really a good option, so i prefer desert eagle...when i have enough money, i keep desert eagle and AK, both...

I have got this error many times.... whenever i post a new topic, and try to read it immediately, i get this error...but that's not because i post it in the internet forum which needs mods approval....i am able to see the topic usually after some time...may be 15mins...

hey!!! i made a post here today and it was deleted after sometime....why???it wasn't any spam...it was about dual booting windows XP and linux...I have installed dual boot XP-linux before...i have tried the method i told here..and even if there was something wrong in it...please let me know...i don't understand why it was deleted......

I play football for my college...i mean i am in the college football team...and chess at a slightly lower level i.e for my branch (Computers)...and i play table tennis and badminton too, though i am not that good in them.... i enjoy the time i spend on outdoor sports...especially soccer....and after an hour of soccer, i feel physically tired, but mentally refreshed....i can sit for hours on my PC after that...I feel really bored on a day i don't play any outdoor game...

i install windows once every two- three months...i don't install it just becaus i like doing so..actually i have to..after probably two- three months, my system becomes slow and i start gettinge error messages for some corrupt or missing system files and some virus or trojan infects my system that's beyond repair,i just feel the need to install new windows....i admit that i am not that good in maintaining my OS and i am not regular in doing system scans and registry clean ups.....i just prefer re-installing the whole thing again...and yes, the method i use...i just format the C drive and install in it.....i don't bother much about repairing the OS from the recovery CD ....

The Multiplayer games i have played are1> counter strike CZ2> quake33> Fifa084> AOEThe one i like the most among all these is FIFA...All these games are equally interesting...but the problem is how much time consuming these are..The problem with AOE & CS is you end up wasting a lot of time.... i don't feel like leaving CS even after two hours....most of the time..we start these games around midnight and continue playing the entire night...FIFA is good in all respects...i enjoy it a lot...i hardly play it for an hour or two (not more than four-five games)...so its not even time consuming...It keeps improving every year, and i think i wont stop playing it ever...
