I am a supporter of the Blu-ray technology because of the fact that it can hold much more information than that of its HD-DVD counterpart. Supposedly they are already finish development of a quadruple-layer Blu-Ray disk that can hold around 200 gigabytes! This seems to be a very impressive technology that sure is an improvement over what we currently have available on the market as of today. I also back Blu-Ray because of the companies that are supporting it. I admit, I am a fan of Sony, not a fan boy though, and this may be why I am leaning towards wanting to see Blu-Ray win the next-generation storage medium battle. Only time will tell. There are also other technologies that are being developed. One of them is being reported as to having a possible capacity of one terabyte, now wouldn't that be something.(speaking of blu-ray, I can't wait to see what the ps3 will be able to do with the new technology and how it can take advantage of it)

Is 21 Y.o. Old? Is 21 year of age considered old?
ameribass replied to FLaKes's topic in General Discussion
No way! Being twenty-one definately does not make you old. I am a few years younger than that (not telling how much...) and those couple of years do not make you become old all of a sudden. You are young as long as you believe in being young, providing that you take care of yourself and your body's needs. You stated that your physical and mental conditions are top-notch, just like they were when you were young; therefore, you are still young my friend. Don't worry about getting old and most definately don't worry about what others think in regards of whether or not you are too old to do the things that you enjoy doing. I find that I highly respect those people that know how to have the knowledge of an elder while still maintaing the charm and charisma of a person of younger age. -
Leaving Your Computer On? - is this good for it?
ameribass replied to nickmealey's topic in Software
Yea, same here. I only have my computer on when I'm in my room. I have a lot of music on my computer and have a set of pretty good speakers and like to listen to my music while doing work in my room. I usually never leave my computer on overnight as it tends to heat my room up quite considerably. The only time that I will leave it on is when I'm downloading a huge file off of the internet. I am under the assumption that leaving your computer on 24/7 isn't that bad for it, but why leave it on when you are not using it for anything? -
I'm Officially Addicted To Tea... Anyone else?
ameribass replied to Cerb's topic in General Discussion
I usually drink tea everyday as my parents do too. I usually go for the normal tea, but sometimes I feel rather daring and go for the untraditional flavors. I also love iced tea. I always get that whenever I go to a restaurant. -
Which Color Of Jeans Do You Like Best ur fav color
ameribass replied to hulunes's topic in General Discussion
What an interesting topic you made there! Well, I was always a fan of the darker looking blue jeans, but ever since I got a pair that are grey-looking and worn out, I find myself liking that style/color the most. -
Yea, I heard about this before. It's pretty sweet that we have the ability, or at least claim that we do, to travel such an extreme distance and be able to communicate information back to Earth. From what I remember reading about this, there are rumors that there may be more planets behind pluto waiting to be discovered, and therefore removing its title of last planet in our solar system. Well, finally this mission, if successful, will help us determine whether or not these speculations are true or not. It sure will be interesting to see what the probe will find along the way. Let's just hope that everything turns out to work perfectly so the missions turns out to be worthwhile doing. Cool post by the way. See ya around!

If you were to do the email method, then yes, you would have to pay for data charges. If you do have internet included with your plan, then you can do this and not worry about having to pay extra just as long as you stay within your limit. Since you don't have bluetooth, you can still most likely get a cord for your phone and work from there...

The temperature that you are experiencing is normal. Many people seem to think that 40 degrees and above are very extreme, but in reality they are not. My 2.8 ghz hyperthreading extreme edition is overclocking at 3 ghz and it is running at 43 degrees c. It is always nice to get some nice fans in your case; I myself have three, one for the cpu, one in the front that sucks air in and one in the back that blows it out. It's nice because my computer case has an air filter in the front so I don't have to worry about any dust getting into my computer and can still effectively cool the whole system. If noisy fans aren't your thing, just as in my case, there are many solutions that you can use to go about this problem. There are many fans out there that are quieter than others, but have lower rpm ratings. This doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't productive, but if you like to overclock a lot and commonly use cpu-intensive tasks, you may want to stick to the fans that can create more airflow but are louder as a result. But the one thing that I think is key to cooling your system is the type of case you have and how everything is layed out inside of it. Many cases nowadays have special insulations that help reduce noise and have conveniently placed fans and vents that help keep temps low. Anyways, I wouldn't really worry about the temperature that you are running at right now, but it's always nice to get some cooling upgrades for your computer if you have the money and the time. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions or problems!

Is Google Cheating With Adsense? Does Google Cheats with Adsense...
ameribass replied to visitor's topic in Business Forum
I don't know if google would terminate people's accounts just for the heck of it. I think that there was a reason for what happened, but whether or not it was valid is the question here. Maybe your friend should try to correspond with them and try to find out exactly why they kicked him out of the program and maybe together they can negotiate and find out a solution that would enable him to participate in the program once again.. Anyways, good luck and let us know on any progress that may take place from here on out. -

Great Site With Some Great Ebooks Flash mx and others
ameribass replied to Lyon's topic in General Discussion
Hello there! I visited this thread in hope of seeing what kind of ebooks are available on that site that you mentioned, but after clicking the link, I receive a message that the site does not exist. Is it just because the site is down or had it been removed completely? I navigated up one folder, but no ebooks where to be found... Any help appreciated, thanks for the post! -
Very nice job. I actually wrote a rap similar to this one. You have very good rhythm and it seems as if you are passionate about the subject that you had chosen to write about. Once again, a job well done and I hope to see more work from you!

Very interesting indeed. I do believe that these tests may hold some truths to some extent. The one about fake smiles would be one of them that I believe in. I took it and I did pretty good, got 17 out of 20 correct. I enjoyed taking that test as I am interested in pshychology and I love how you can mess with people's minds and get consistent results as long as you know what you're doing. Thanks a lot for this post, I would love seeing more posts as this one so I can take more tests that help reveal the human mind.

Hey there. I am also experiencing the same problem. If anyone out there knows of a fix or has any other information regarding this matter, it would be greatly appreciated. After thinking about the situation, maybe there is no fix for this. I think that the only way to have a lag-free experience is when you have a direct connection to the computer monitor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no matter how fast your computer may be, it still has to process the incoming data and then show it on the monitor. The PS2 has a separate processing unit than the PC, so what you input on your controller will never show up in real-time on the computer's monitor. If there are any ways in minimizing the lag time, please tell us. I would love to have the possibility of playing my ps2 on my computer's screen.

I just recently had an opportunity to play Call of Duty 2 on the xbox 360. I must say that I was pretty impressed by the game. I might consider getting it for my pc as i don't own an xbox 360 nor do I plan on buying one. -
How Fast Can You Type The Alphabet? Warning: addictive.
ameribass replied to Will's topic in General Discussion
Nice! This is a sweet game. I'm kinda bored right now, so pretty much anything seems exciting to me at the moment. My first try i got a 12, then 8, and now i got it down to 6. Thanks for the cool find! -
Very interesting. It may be a possibility that the computers at your school have been requesting such a vast amount of information that it set off a red flag on google's servers. Since they want to protect their bandwidth and all, they probably put a temporary block on your school's ip address and tell the user that it is a virus or spyware as most people wouldn't understand the concept of bandwidth and all other important things that are associated with running and maintaining a website of such rank as google.

Hey man, thanks for those awesome links. They were really fun and interesting to read. I think that it's cool that such a known company such as google is human enough to post jokes that help us bring closer to them. I also like the george bush falling animation. Once again, really good find and I hope to see more quality posts like this one in the near future.

I, too, am eager to play the newest installment in the Need for Speed series. Being an owner of a PSP, I am awaiting to play/test out the game and see if it's worth buying or not. I also would like to see what it's going to be like playing a racing game on a next-generation console such as the Xbox 360.
