  2. While a lot of the "money-making" sites out there are just scams, there is a handful that actually do allow you to make some kind of money. While these sums may not always be the biggest, they are still considered to be money and should be ignored. And I agree, while it may be hard at times to find these sites that actually do what they promise to do, it is definately worth the time and effort put forth in searching for these sites when the first check comes in the mail or is deposited into your bank account. Good luck!

  8. Yeah, I heard about this earlier. It's not a bad idea for google. I've had an account with them for a while now, so this new feature doesn't really pertain to me, but to those who don't know anyone that will be willing to send them an invite should be happy that they can finally just sign up themselves, at least for those living in the countries mentioned above. Thanks a lot for the information and see you around in the forums in the near future!
  9. While this is a very good idea, I cannot see how the average user can actually be successful and make money off of this. In order for companies to actually want to advertise on your site and pay you for it, you must have a heck of a lot of unique visitors every day. Now if there are some people here on Xisto that actaully have that kind of traffic, then power to all of you. I sure hope that I can be lucky enough to be able to use this script one day and have success with it. Thanks a lot for the links and the information; I am sure that someone will find it very useful. If anyone here does make money, feel free to share some with me...
  10. Thanks, I am sure that some of the members will find these useful. I already have all of these except the freeram program; I have a gig of ram so I don't really need to free up any space as I have lots of it. Oh, and by the way, it's Norton, not Nortan.

  14. I currently have the Motorola v600, but I am hoping to get a new phone as soon as possible. I got the phone right when it became available on the U.S market as the reviews were very high back then. But things began to change after people began experiencing many problems with the phone such as freezing or the display going black or white. I, fortunately, did not have any of these problems, but as of late the earpiece has been going bad; the volume is extremely low most of the time, forcing me to use a headset or the speakerphone function. The phone that I am hoping to get to replace my current one is the Sony Ericsson w810i. The cost of the phone is the only thing that is keeping me from getting it as of now, but I've been hearing rumors that there is a possibility that one of the US carriers might pick this phone up. The phone would then carry some kind of discount or rebate, making the price more reasonable that 600+ dollars. I am really hoping to get this phone, as it has all of the features that I am looking for and much much more.
  15. I am currently a student in the United States and aside from learning the native tongue here, I am also studying the Spanish language, culture. and traditions. I also speak fluent Polish. At the high school that I attend, there are three different languages that you can pick from to study: Spanish, French, and German. If I were to learn another language, it would most likely have to be German, as I was born there and I do not know anything about the language.
  16. Yea, unfortunately megaupload does have some very frustrating download speeds. Very rarely do I get a speed that goes over 25 kilobytes per second. It starts of nice, but then rapidly declines. I also noticed that from time to time the download freezes up and you have to go back and restart the download, very annoying. But then again, it is a free service so we can't complain too much. I usually try to use rapidshare when I can, but sometimes people favor using megauploads because there is no hourly limit, even though it takes longer than an hour to download the average file from their site. Well, those were my two cents. Anyone else?
  17. Congratulations to Xisto on reaching 10,000 members!I've been a proud member for more than half a year now and I can say that I have never been disappointed with the service, staff, or quality of the hosting here. Thank you, Xisto, and keep up the excellent work!
  18. The events that have currently taken place surely are tragic, but we cannot forget the fact that more things happen than what we just hear from the news and media. There are so many things that occur every day that in some cases are far more tragic than the things that we are accustomed to hearing, yet never seem to make it on the news. What I'm trying to say is that no matter what year it is, bad things are always going to happen. I don't think that having the attitude of believing that the world is slowly coming to an end and is full of chaos is the right attitude to have. I think that we have to take things as they come, and accept them. Let's focus on the positives in life over the negatives. If you have a negative attitude, then you will always see the negatives in no matter what it be that you are looking or thinking about. So let's hope to see much good in 2006, instead of hoping for little bad. By the way, this post isn't directly being stated at someone, this is just the way that I feel that some people tend to be nowadays. Interesting topic! Thanks for it and I hope to see ya somewhere in the near future once again!
  19. Nice, that would be pretty sweet if this really does come out. This will definately get some attention as it is a much cheaper alternative to Microsoft's Office software. I think that the place where we may see this used a lot will be in schools and other places that tend to have vast amounts of computers concentrated in one area. Well, only time will tell to see where this project goes and whether or not it will turn out to be a success or a flop. Thanks for the very interesting post, by the way. Keep up the great job!
  20. Thanks a lot for the interesting read! I am sure that I, and mostly everyone else that reads this, will find this inforamtion very useful in the future. Thanks a lot for the post once again and I hope to see more quality posts like this one in the near future. See ya later!
  21. Hey there. Thanks for choosing to share your site with us! I must say that you did a very good job on it and there is a lot of information/content that visitors like myself may find interesting. I, too, bookmarked your site and plan on visiting later. Making money on the internet is something that I just started out in trying to do, and I am sure that your site will make itself a valueable tool and great starting point for novices like me. Once again, thanks a lot, and make sure to update us on any changes that may occur on your website. See ya around!
  22. I used to have better than perfect vision, 20/15, but all of a sudden my acuity declined. After visiting the optometrist for my eye test, I got glasses and wore them for two years. I then had this urge to try out contact lenses, and got them. Ever since then, I have been wearing contact lenses everyday. Sometimes when they are bothering me, I put on my eye glasses.
  23. Well, I usually don't make resolutions, actually I never did. But since you ask, I might as well say something that I would like to maybe see change about myself. I often find myself judging people too quickly and not giving them enough of a chance to get on my good side. There are cases in which there are people that I am friends with that I at one point could not stand, or dare I say, hated. Anyways, good topic. Anyone else? What are your New Year's resolution(s)?
  24. I have the game for the sony psp, and I must say that it's not too bad. I did not pay for the game myself, so I do not really have the option of returning or exchanging it for something else had it turned out to be a bad game, but fortunately that hasn't been the case and the game has proven itself worthy of some time to play. One weakness that I must point out that is present on the psp version (Need For Speed: Most Wanted 5-1-0) is that the tracks seem to be very repetitive and sometimes the game might get slightly boring because of that fact. Other than that, I have no complaints. The audio, graphics, and gameplay are all pretty good. Out of 10 points, I would give it an 8.
