Oh man, Gran Turismo 4, baby. I have the Logitech Pro wheel and pedals and have it running in high-definition. It's simply the best driving game ever made hands down. I recommend this game to anyone that has an interest in cars or to anyone that hasn't played it at all. Amazing game; one of the reasons that I got a PS2 was because of the fact that the Gran Turismo series was exclusive to that console.

I use my iPod most of the time and sometimes use my PSP to play music when I am using it. I bought my iPod before it became a fad and all; I have a 3rd gen 15gb which back then cost $400 (as much as a 60gb iPod featuring video support - hate when people call it the video iPod).

Yea, I know what you mean. I find it funny how often you can see people slow down like crazy and go 10-15 under the speed limit when a cop is around. People, it's not illegal to go the speed limit, even if the cop isn't going that fast at times.

I, too, have never really gotten into that show. I've seen it about 4 times or so but never really got into it. Maybe it's because I'm not that big of a fan of cartoons anymore. What I can say is that the majority of kids that I know that go to my school and do like the show are people that I generally don't like, but maybe that's just a coincidence...

I, too, am a fan of the lighter layout. I like the blues and a glossy look, but so much that it looks techie. I like the simplistic look, but not too much. I guess that I am somewhere inbetween, not an extremist.

The riots in France are really starting to get out of control and need to be put to a stop at once, not just for the people's sake, but also for the reputation of the country. Many a times, countries complain and criticize how other countries handle business, but it's easier said than done.

Man, that just makes you appreciate school that much more, doesn't it? Man, I really feel for you, especially because of the fact that you guys didn't have to pay anything up to this point. I was born in Germany, and was aware of all the great gifts that the country has to offer to its citizens, healthcare and eduction being the ones that stand out the most. I moved to America as a young one, and the situation here is just a little different than the one that you are currently in. Here, we pay anywhere around $40,000 and upwards per year. That doesn't include the cost of books, board, and any other fees that the school feels like charging its members. It's out-of-control over here, so I hope just that fact alone helps you feel better. I wish the best of luck to you in coming up with that extra money that you are going to need and good luck in your future studies at school. Just don't forget, it's the most important thing that you need to have a bright future ahead of you, so whatever you do, don't decide to drop school just because it's too expensive. And since you are here at Xisto hosting your own website and all, there's always some type of e-commerce that you can look to for financial help. Haha, I am a guy too (and straight, just like Saint_Michael). I would go for number one; I guess I like the simplistic look and am not a big fan of the big shiny ones that often have too much to show than they really have. Plus, the simple one would go with everything. (wow, I can't believe I just said that, not that there's anything wrong with it...)

Although there seem to be many stricking similarities between the two, we can't take this article for serious; there are many other components or aspects that play in the role of making a gaming console successful. A comment on the previous post: just because something sells, doesn't make that product one of a high quality and standard.I believe that the Xbox360 will, indeed, sell out as soon as it hits the market, just because it is something new and people will pay top-dollar to experience it. And while I do believe that the console will be a great one, I am not so sure that it will be the best one out there, especially when the PS3 comes out (but that's a different topic; I'll stay out of it as this is about xbox 360 vs. Dreamcast).

Yeah, as with the console and pc version, you have the ability to save your progress within the game at the garage. During the game, pause and choose the option that says return to garage. Once there, navigate to where it says save game. Good luck! Interesting post. I cannot comment on the recent quality of ea's products as the most recent game i have is fifa 2004. I do have madden 2006 for psp, which isnt bad at all, considering the fact that it is one of the first sports games for psp that manages to get the job done. The online play is ok, sometimes takes a while to load the menus, but overall it is a fun experience.

Oh man, how many times have I seen this question not only on this forum but everywhere around me. As an owner of a PS2 and not the xbox nor the gamecube, it is natural for me to be a supporter of the PS3. But in all seriousness, I believe that PS3 will exceed the performance/limits of the xbox 360 and most definately the nintendo revolution. And while I am aware of the fact that the PS3 will most likely be more expensive than the other consoles, the question still remains which console will be the most powerful, not the best value. The one advantage that the xbox 360 has over the sony ps3 is that the 360 will be launched earlier, significantly earlier. Sony currently cannot reveal too much information about the PS3 because they still have quite a while to go until the launch of the new system. Many may not realize this, but Sony still has to keep its audience interested in the PS2, a beautiful balancing act that sony has so far been able to keep up. Anyways, I can't wait to see how the situation turns out.

I've been using Trillian Pro (version 3.x) for some time now. I am very satisfied with the program, as it lets me combine all chat clients into one easy to use program. Aside from convenience, there are many plug-ins that are available that help take instant messaging to the next level. I also like the fact that the application is skinnable, something that AIM lacks (I know, I know, you can skin AIM, but it's nothing compared to what Trillian can do). All in all, I would definately recommend this program to anyone, be it a frequent instant messenger or a person that rarely ever talks to people while on the internet.

Yea, I can swim too. I like doing it as a recreational activity, but not at the competitive level. I used to take classes as a little kid, then had to do swimming twice in high school as part of the physical education curriculum. Swimming at the beach or at a pool in a resort/hotel is a great way to pass the day by while remaining relaxed the entire time.

Yea, I heard about the OLED technology. It's really cool. When used, it takes up very little space as compared to a conventional display and has a classy look/touch to it. I remember when the technology was just coming out that I saw a magazine article about it. It showed a picture of a prototype device that showed that the OLED display had a flexible characteristic to it. Pretty cool if you ask me. It's interesting to see where technology is taking us, especially in the field of displays. Thanks for the info!

I agree with the previous post. If you are trying to rant about people listening to their music loud thorugh their headphones, then you shouldn't single out the genres of music that you don't like yourself and then try to cover it up with an "i dont mean to offend anyone" statement. The fact that some people listen to their music turned up all the way doesn't mean that they want everyone to hear it. I don't see a reason why people should go out and get special headphones for 40 dollars just to satisfy those that they don't really don't care about. Now, to defend your case, it all depends on what the scenario is. If you are in a location such as, let's say, a musuem or a library, then yes, I agree that people sould have some decent respect and common courtesy and keep their music down to a level so they don't disturb others. But if someone is on a bus or in a store or in any other public place that allows for people to talk above a whisper, then people should be able to listen to their music in any way they want, as long as it's not a deliberate attempt to piss others off. Not that I mean to offend anyone, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, the hydrogen car has been out for a while. The most popular one that was heard of is the Honda. One family in the US has bought one and is the first in the world to commercially own one. The problem is that there are only i think 9 hydrogen stations in the US, so refilling can be a problem. Many people claim that gasoline is expensive nowadays, but hydrogen is like 7 bucks as compare to the same volume of gas. Anyways, I believe that hydrogen cars will be the future, unfortunately as I am a fan of gas-guzzling machines, but it is currently way ahead of its time.

Hmm, well despite all of the trash talk about the PS3 and how it will cost more than the xbox 360, I still firmly believe that the PS3 will continue to dominate the xbox 360. It's just simple logic that the PS3 will be better just because it will be launched later than the xbox. Many people claim that the next-gen gaming consoles are coming and soon we will be able to buy them, well not until the PS3 comes out we wont. Honestly, look at the ps3's capabilities and compare them to the ones that xbox doesn't have...
