It gets slower with every credit so that people don't do one day of mass posting and then leave for a year. So even if you have been a member for years, if you get down to 0 credits it only takes 1-2 posts to get back up to 4 again.

I actually played this game for a very short period of time...I just couldn't stand the graphics of it and all. I much prefer 3d games where you run around, rather than overhead games.

Need A Free Graphic Design Software? Try Paint.net!
rpgsearcherz replied to hahihuhei's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Although it isn't as powerful as Gimp...Is it easier to use?I'm a complete newbie when it comes to graphics and all, and to me even Gimp is confusing to use,=/ -
I think phones in the brain would actually be better than the ones that you hold. Have you ever noticed how people drive when they are holding a cell phone up to their ear? It's scary to notice how many people drive wreckless due to having to hold it up.

This is actually a great point, and is one that I didn't consider at first. I just now came up with the idea in fact. If you're already at near dehydration then obviously you can't go without water for as long as someone who drinks 64 ounces a day or whatever.

I Hate People That Walk Slowly Seriously, no joke.
rpgsearcherz replied to HDuffRules's topic in The Vent
Yeah, do that, lol...People sometimes just don't know that you're behind them.I mean think about it..If you're walking slow because you have 10 mins to get somewhere(especially at school) that only takes 5 mins..That's completely normal. What's the point of rushing to a class you don't like anyways? So it's a very normal part of walking, especially at work, school, etc. where people don't want to be to begin with. -
I actually think it would be a pretty cool idea to add something like that.Maybe have it to where myCENTS are only worth 1/2 a cent if you are transferring them out.And to recooperate funds there could be ads on the forums or something. Not really sure how it would all work but it just seems like a good idea.Obviously nobody could make a full-time job out of posting, still, but then again it would cause trap to lose a lot of funds.I personally will stay regardless as to what decision is made, but either way I think it's a great idea,

Great information in these threads. I used to just use water but that left streaks, so I went to window cleaner, which also left streaks(not sure why..I guess it's because monitors aren't actual glass)I'll try out this alcohol/water mixture later and see how it goes,

This is a little informative in terms of those who don't even know where to start, or what would be involved, but that should be pretty much common knowledge anyways. Games that are planned to be massively given out(Especially RPG's) do take a lot of work, time, effort, and more than one or two people.

This is a pretty cool tutorial. I will be needing these things more and more as I go along. Starting after this semester I plan to start getting into graphics design. -
Quoted Posts ...who can get away with it?
rpgsearcherz replied to Animator's topic in Web Hosting Support
I think it's wrong to quote something that is on another site as well. A way of looking at this is review sites that pay. They will not pay you if they find your review on any other site, because that means you are sending business elsewhere.I feel that the same thing should be going on here. -
Make Money Online With Cashcrate - A Scam?
rpgsearcherz replied to Arbitrary's topic in General Discussion
I've joined some of these and have been paid. I actually haven't found any that are truely scams, but at the same time...You won't make enough to pay the bills or anything. It's just passive income. -
Dragons in their movie like sense do not exist, nor have they ever. There are "dragons" though, such as the Komoto Dragon. So it all really depends on what form of dragon you're speaking of.If you're talking about Shrek style, there never have been,

Whats the most recent movie you watched?
rpgsearcherz replied to iGuest's topic in General Discussion
Just got done watching Takedown, actually. This was a pretty good movie, and it sparked the curiosity of finding out how much of it is true.Turns out most of it is, so I'm very amazed...Just, what you can do with technology these days. -
My favorite animals are...Sloths(These are so cute, how could anyone not like them?!)...Penguins(I like how they run), and Seals(The white ones are cute)

Kinda Noobie Questions On C++ Functions and stuff
rpgsearcherz replied to Tran-Gate's topic in Programming
It can all be in main, but it is split to make it easier to read. The reason is that when you get longer programs, it's easier to break it into smaller blocks...Think of it like this...On one hand you could organize your list of continents and countries like this..1 - USA2 - Brazil3 - Australia4 - Canada5 - AfricaOr you could organize it like this..1)North America A) USA B)Canada2)South America A)AfricaAnd so on. The second list is easier to read because it's much more organized. The same goes with programs. As you go on you will write longer and longer programs, some going 30k+ lines. This helps to cut down on the hassle of going through one line at a time looking for what went wrong. In the beginning, though, I would just put everything in Main.Hopefully that helps you understand it better. -
Wow, very nice one...I agree that it is about time they get forced to take up for their mistakes.I think it was the original XBox that also had issues, where they were forced to send out new power bricks to everyone.

Review My Gaming Community Site, Please, :)
rpgsearcherz replied to rpgsearcherz's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Thanks for the input, to both of you.As for the site colors, my biggest issue with that is that it most likely will not match the forums in the future. I plan to add different forum themes for each game, so everyone can choose which one they wish to use. So in terms of the site, I am thinking about just leaving it as a generic color.Another plan that I had for it is to just set up different page looks depending on what game you go to. So let's say you're looking in Warhammer, you would see a look like warhammer. If you went into CSS it would look like CSS, etc.The pictures I am planning on doing via like event pages, rather than a "here are all of our pictures" page, however that may change.I'll definitely be checking out those template sites though, and thanks again to both of you! -
Holograms...Great idea...Actually that could be used for REAL talking to friends/relatives. Maybe one day it will be to where it's like they are actually in front of you.Or they could also be used for things like maps, so that rather than looking on a small screen you could actually see the map in front of you, making it easier to pinpoint locations.

I Hate People That Walk Slowly Seriously, no joke.
rpgsearcherz replied to HDuffRules's topic in The Vent
I haven't really ran into that issue too many times. Usually people are aware if you follow them too long, for whatever reason, and they will move out of your way.If you do think they are going too slow and aren't noticing you, just say 'excuse me' and they will usually let you through. It's not a mean thing to do because maybe you are in a hurry and they aren't. I haven't found anyone who has taken offense to asking to pass before. -
I never heard about this...Was it on the actual news or anything? And I completely disagree with what he did...That's like taking off your ring when you go to waitress people. There really is not much of a difference between those. Some people change their status and all solely for the attention that they normally would not get, not because they want to get divorced or leave the person. On the other hand, he could be claimed as mentally ill now...It's not easy to get off of court by saying it but then again many people do.

I think his question is...Like basing it on those who don't even try to get jobs, and instead just go on unemployment or whatever so that they never have to work. For me, it's really a hard decision as to what is the right or wrong answer. I do believe that some people have no real other choice but to go on unemployment or disability, but on the other hand there are many, many other people who fake their way into the systems for the sole purpose of never having to earn what they have.Overall, it really just depends on how you look at it all.
