If I was the person trying to decide what to get for the parents, I would definitely go Dual core, I have played games online, one was pool and other dominioes, My laptop never slowed down with a hiccup also in conjunction. I was running other apps. None of my cores were full power. I still had my 3 gigs of ram. I am looking and evaluating reviews before I am purchasing on my desktop. I have a nice desktop case sitting in the closet. Brand spanking new. I am trying to decide what to put in it. I am taking my time to evaluate what my needs are. I would not settle for single core. I had my share of using single cores for approx 8 years. You are going to need to advance to much higher. If you want amd, go AMD Phenom x3 to be on the safe side. "family guy vs. south park"Family Guy Vs. South Park I used to be both a family guy fan and a south park fan then south parks cartoon wars came out, and broke the tie. Honestly how can their be any contest between the two after that. I'm not just referring to the pot shot at family guy either. The very fact that Mat stone and trey parker had the balls to defy comedy central, and defend what they believed in, places a vast canyon between the two shows. Sure south park has it's share of fart jokes, and most of the time it's completely pointless, but most of the time the show uses these pointlessly grotesque jokes to prove a point. Family guy on the other hand is 90% pointless jokes and 10% Brian telling the evil Christians how horrible they are. I still think Seth Macfarland is a funny guy, but honestly family guy is just a reference here a 5 minute chicken fight there, and a forced message that fails to hit it's mark in the end. So called friendSo Called 'friends'!I have this so called friend, well let me start at the begining me and this girl met online and we became bff's well thats what I thought anyways she lost her internet and only got on once a month this went on for about a yr. I left her messages even tho she wasn't on to let her know I thought about her and hoped everything was ok with her and her family.Well she finally got her net back on and we stayed on pc all the time day and night..Then I had some problems with my family and wasn't on as much as I was, well anyhow I figured she would of been there for me when, I finally got to come back on full time which was about 6 months later but within that 6 months I went to her state to see here and her family. Well when I get bck on, she has a new bff and says they aren't bff's but the only time she messages me or talks to me is when her friend isn't available it seems or like when we get on mic her friend is already on mic, Well she has asked me if I like joined a game just because her and this girl is close but I didn't know they was close at the time I joined the game...Anyhow what I'm getting at is this friend says we are still bffs but she doesn't talk to me only when her new friend isn't on. I just need advice if I can get any on what to say / do about this. I am in this situation right now actually, waiting for a reply. I was going to ask in person but she had to go out of town with family, so I gave her a letter written in calligraphy. Took three hours to write and I asked her to wait until valentines to open it. When I talked to her she gave me the response I am hearing allot about here, "Give me some time". Now I honestly really care about this girl, so I will wait as long as I have to to hear yes or no, but honestly girls, you only hurt us more by putting it off then saying no. If you honestly know the answer when he asks, tell him. I believe she needs time to work out things in her life before giving me an answer, but in many cases girls do put us off and in the end your desire to not hurt your friend can ruin an otherwise viable friendship.
