One possible fix for powerPc Shuts Down After A Few SecondsPower in instead of power out where a fan should go. There's a 4-pin connector that feeds out of the power supply. It's tempting to plug this into the motherboard, but that's not what that's for. Some old CPU fans were made with 4-pin connectors. So, just plug in the 3-pin power feed for the fan. I agree but disagree at the same time..Neopets.com *old* Players! I stopped playing for years because they changed the layout. The first day I saw that new layout it felt really disgusting and commerical.. And what's with all the flash things? It takes too long to load.. And it lags.. Especially the redo of all the maps.. And the neohome.. And what's up with those advertisements?! the ads showing a lot of skin.. And they're everywhere.. ..I kinda like the NC Mall. They give out free items once in a while. For April they give out free eggs with Neohome items in it. And free Neocash. I've only been back a month and I got 200 nc, enough for a spiffy wing for my Wocky. Maybe if I check often.. I get more.. Then I won't have to pay for those items ever. Also.. A lot of good items don't need neocash.. I mean. I can live without them. I read on wikipedia that neopets needs a lot of money to run its servers.. Probably just for connection takes thousands.. I'm an old player too, but I have learned to ignore the ads and enjoy the site still. It's still okay. In my opinion. Oh! And before I forget.. Its quite simple and allows the client to draw out lets say a sprite onto the stage and edit its properties ect Ie to get a sprite identified as "Box" to move right a certain amount of pixels everytime the frame changes just use: addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,moveBox); function moveBox:void { Box.X += 15; } ie the x property of the box moves 15 pixels per frame. I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 that the screen will not work on. That's not big deal (even though I can't figure out the problem) beacuse I have been using an external monitor on the VGA output on the back. It was working fine today, then I moved it and turned it back on, and now nothing will display on the external monitor, and all it does is beep whenever I press a key. Any ideas? I REALLY need this computer to be able to work again. Is there anything that I can press maybe?

I began learning PHP with a book and some video tutorials I pay to subscribe to, but when it came to setting up a testing server and getting a MySQL database up and running, those resources were poorly documented. They assumed the user already knows how to do this. After searching desperately for online MySQL tutorials, I eventually found none that answered my questions and in the meantime I forgot the PHP I had learned. That's the problem with PHP: you have to learn it in conjunction with a database language. And in MySQL's case that leads down a dark and winding labyrinth to nowhere. You need to learn about Wamp/Xampp/Mamp, phpMyAdmin, how to set the testing server up in Dreamweaver, how to import a database, etc. You are on your own in this web-wide scavenger hunt to put the fragmented pieces together. I knew that JavaScript requires no testing server, so I decided to learn that instead. With the growing popularity of Ajax, I think it is an important skill to have. I plan to revisit PHP at some point, but as of now there are just not enough good resources for learning the MySQL that goes hand-in-hand with it.
