does ftp drive get mapped as a logical or network drive?Map An Ftp Server As A DriveReplying to jedipiMy question is this... When you map the drive locally on your computer, does it map it as a logical (mapped as though it was another physical drive) or as a network drive mapped to say a location on a local network. Then reason I ask is because I came across the is situation and once I mapped a drive running the downloaded .Exe and a .Bat files the workstation resources came to a grinding halt as I believe the system was looking for this drive as another internal drive. Anyone seen this issue before?-reply by mark

In my opinion, Kaspersky is best at REMOVAL & DETECTION. Norton (from what I've researched) is excellent at PREVENTING, although I'm not sure if it prevents any better than Kaspersky. Norton may also have more "extras" (parental controls etc.) than Kaspersky (from what I hear). I use Kaspersky...A good solid anti-virus program that I trust. I really don't care about the extra stuff, as long as it removes and detects the viruses I'm happy. It does, however, have several of those "extras" that I appreciate, but don't require Kaspersky vs. Norton? Well, I would say...Kaspersky is superior in what it's supposed to be doing. Detection, removal & the ever important, prevention. I would probably recommend Norton for a family who wants extra internet protection or someone who feels ill informed & more comfortable purchasing Norton, because of it's widespread use & success. The different blob types are all basically the same thing except they have different max sizes. If you want to do something like comments, use column type 'text' and leave the maximum value blank. However, when I turned the system off, and later started it up again, it would not connect I found out that it asks for IP address I now know it. However, I can not show it to the system. 6 yearsWhat Causes Long-term Relationship To End?I have been with my boyfriend for six and a half years now. We've been together since we were.. Oh wow, 12 and 13 actually ha. So I have an interesting perspective to bring up here. Long- term relationships span a.. Long amount of time. People can change a lot throughout long term relatioships, so it's not neccesarily that they love you any less, but that as time goes on there are other things to consider, talk about, prioritize. So at 3 years, your friends may have realized things working differently, at 4 maybe trying to push through hard times, 5 not wanting to loose them and at 6 finally coming to terms that they aren't in the same place that they were when they first got together. I'm not saying I know these friends of yours, just that its a possibilty. Another option is that perhaps they're in long distance relationships, and that takes a toll on the two of them as well, there are lots of factors - not just that in two years you'll wake up and hate your girlfriend all of a sudden. My Dad's PC has a problem...his computer keeps automatically trying to overclock its self every so often, then overheats. It has no Watercooling system at all, nor does it have any Thermal Paste on the CPU chip or bottom of the heatsink (I don't think). His mobo is ASUS, with an Intel chip.It is Intel Pentium 4 Dual Core Processor. We have no paste for the CPU and heatsink yet. But since I've watched your video's, I'd like your online help to fix this issue. Getting Instant support would be more helpful as I can inform you of the stuff he has in his system, however my mom probably wont let me uncover the computer again, she's a fussy "cleaning" freak..she hates the dust and hates the computer being pulled out etc.I am currently at College doing IT Tech, fixing computers etc (overall, I have completely fixed over 100+ computers) Though with my Dads computer, I don't know...I gave it a good clean out yesturday, using some ear plugs to get the dust out of the heatsink, and using our Hoover to suck up the dust out of the computer.I hoovered the PSU fan, the heatsink, and the back fan, however my Dads GPU/CPU core temperatures are always at high levels. I looked in the BIOS settings at the temperatures and the GPU/CPU temperatures are way above normal/standard temperatures. I've looked at the overclocking settings in the BIOS, but it doesn't show how to disable it completely. When it overheats, like 5 to 10 minutes after, I turn it on, it boots up, doing various IDE scan tests etc, but says "Overclocking failed" or something like that. I gave my sisters husband a ring, (he's a technition with computers and does that as a job) he said, I need to apply some thermal paste over the CPU, however, we don't know where he best place to get it from.Is there any other way to disable my Dads computer from overclocking?Thanks.

I think it will work in xp or windos 98. Go to accessories open sound control mute the wave sound play the song record it on anything & u will get your song witout any human voice. before some time when I was using xp or 98 I don't remember. as above CCleanerHow To Remove Cookies Automatically After Accessing Websites In CCleaner (on PC) under Settings, you can tell it to automatically delete files. Then under the Advanced tab it can be shutdown after cleaning. It also has a great Registry cleaner. If you just want to automatically delete temp files & cookies in Firefox, it can be set to do this also. If you want to clean the bejabbers out of a PC, download and run Cleanup (Steven Gould). This is the best if you have to clean up multiple login profiles. I use this as an IT where I work, where there are about 30 profiles per machine. tt
