But the theory of the world ending in december 21st (not 23rd) 2012 might be a wrong prediction. Life without computersLife Without A ComputerI remember life without computers. Kids used to play outside and they were not obese. My mom didn't use her cell to call our cells if she wanted us home for dinner. She would ring one of those old brass hand bells outside the back door and we'd hear it from down the street. It was fine. We didn't know how much fun we were missing playing all those pc games because we were too busy climbing trees, riding our bikes and playing baseball outside in the fresh air. I can remember we'd have to put the timer on for 3 minutes if we wanted to make a phone call. We'd have to ask if we wanted to watch a TV show, which we wanted to do more often once we got 'color'. Now it's considered a basic necessity to have email, websites and blogs, and to be able to call, text and access anyone and anything at all times. Imagine deliberately leaving the house without a pocket full of technology, for even an entire day.. Just for the challenge! The computer replaced life as we knew it, and there's no turning back. Kaspersky is definatly not lightweight. An excellent program it maybe, but not lightweight. If you have a medicore single core processor I wouldnt recommended using it if you require resources for other things.

My internet cable isnt being picked upModem Missing In Device ManagerI bought an internet cable to reduce disconnection from the internet when I play games, but the computer isnt even recognizing the cable. I plug it in, and nothing happens,its not shown under device manager, I try to add new connections and it says 'no connections available'. I tried to auto detect hardware under the bios, but couldnt find the box to do so. the light turns on when its plugged in, but nothing on the monitor shows that the cable is even plugged into the computer.. Any suggestions? sam

Long distance relationships do work...My sister and her man were going out for a while, he lived in canada and she was out here in the U.S. Now they are married happiest people ever. I think communication is key, and my boyfriend and I hv been going out for about 4 months now, we are 1700 miles apart. He tried to come down once a month, but last time he was out here was 3 weeks ago, and only coming in 4 weeks. It sucks but it's all worth it. You just have to be strong and talk all the time. My communication with him really did improve and I prefer long distance, cuz I have such a busy life.

I had a comment on line 1 and @charset "utf-8"; on line 2, which caused the background to not show up in Google Chrome. Now that they have swapped, the problem has been fixed.
