Private ServersAre They Private Or *pirate Servers?I need a difinitive answer to my two questions. I was thinking of making my own private server for RuneScape - just for me. Is this illegal? Will I lose my RuneScape account if Jagex finds out about this? I really enjoy playing RuneScape, and I have put a lot of work into my character. I really would not want to be banned by Jagex! Sometimes, I just would like to be by myself instead of trying to help out a lot of my online friends all at once (Don't get me wrong, I enjoy helping them. Sometimes it can be a hassle though because I want to develop my character as well!). Please help me! I'm so confused because this website says that private servers are illegal, but another website I went to said that it is perfectly legal because Jagex's Terms and Conditions doesn't specify anything about them. -question by Unknown

Brother of a felonHiring FelonsEveryone has a great opinions and insight about hiring felons. I can say that I agree with certain things on both sides of being the felon and being the employer. It is sad seeing so many people that made a mistake and trying to correct it and live a better life be torn down by others. I am a true believer in second chances. I come from a family that always gives second chances no matter what. There is good in everyone I think some people just need to know how to see it and bring it out in those people rather then seeing what they did wrong and what they might do wrong. Grant it that some people just don't want help and choose to live that life, it's our job as citizens of mankind to help out others in any way and maybe to show people ( not force ) a way to be better. In that turning some one down by judging them on their past is not the way. My brother is a felon. Burglery/habitat from about 7 years ago. He just got around the wrong people who where not really his friends. I know he had the power to say no and not to do those things. I am not placing the blame on those people and saying he didnt do anything wrong because he did. He chose to do those things and now he is paying for it...In every aspect. Since then he has been on a roller coaster trying to get past it. All his real friends abanded him and now it seems that he only attracts those that are not on the right path feeding him these bad habits. He works hard at a dinner making little money, has been living with so many diffrent people in the last year its almost stupid. Lot of his recent trouble has been drugs...Smoking the green and has been to jail for it but not on felony charges though but still a crime that could get you sent to the outcasted part of society. He is a very strong person who pretty much excells at everything accept controlling what he has done wrong because there is no one there for him. He tries so hard and just gets kicked down every time he tries and its sad...I wouldnt wish this kind of junk on anyone not even my worst enemy which happens to be sour cream...I hate it!! I have research so many groups and junk online about hiring felons only to come up short. It almost seems that they just give bits and pieces of info and nothing much at all nothing short of...Hang in there and try. I wish I had the time to start a non-profit orginization for those who truely want to get on the right path work hard and make it in life and not in jail. I just don't have the time at the moment due to dealing with a crappy divorce thats sucking my wallet dry. I am proud to see others out there respecting the words of felons. I hoep one day the word can spread far enough for others to see that we all have an opinion and a desire to help those in need. After I assigned some domains to the host I opened file manager and was surprised to see that I cannot find an "edit" option. I can create, upload, rename, move, delete, copy, and change permissions on files but there is no "edit" option. You are right about pedestrians and traffic lights and signals, in the game you don't care about those things. But we're talking about the driving technique, the way you control your steering wheel, they way you got a feeling in the corners, I rly do think racing games help you. But there are some negative sides. I also think it makes you drive faster (so it for me). Maybe that's just because I'm young, and young people just want the exitment... On the Iris Implant SurgeryWhy Are People With Darker Eyes Considered Less Atractive?On the Tyra Show, she did an episode of "black market cosmetic surgery/medical work" and one of the ladies that appeared talked about how she flew to Panama (I can't remember exactly though) and that during the implant she felt a lot of pain. When she got back to the states, she had to have her eyes redone because the doc had done major damage. Now she has macular degeneration and cataracts, etc. And she's probably going to go blind before she's 40. Now all she wishes for is to have her own eyes back the way they were even though they were a dark brown -- but at least she could see back then. And I agree with some of the comments above, I think that brown eyes are beautiful. As are green eyes, blue eyes, red eyes, purple eyes, grey eyes ... I'm Asian and my eyes are so dark that I used to think they were black when I was younger and yes, I went through the phase where I thought I wanted blue or grey eyes but after really studying my iris, I think of them as black pools that can look very intense and sensual. On another note, I vaguely recall a survey I read a few years back that people think brown eyes are more friendly looking than lighter colored eyes. Which can make sense since brown is a 'warmer' color and blue (for example) is 'cooler'.

McAfeeAntivirus Slows Down Your PC?I don't know what crap people are saying about McAfee,But my opinion is that it is a resource HOG.I am a gamer and I play strategy games that have many units on the screen.When I had McAfee on my system it caused extreme game lag.So since I was not using the net to play my games I decided to turn off all the settings in McAfee.Even when you turn them off it still has background programs running.I used Game Booster which turns off all programs not needed to play a game and it still could not shut down McAfee back ground programs (scanner auto updates and warning popups).I went to my registry services to shut anything down that McAfee had running and found 3 that would not allow you to sut down. Even with as much as I was allowed to sut down on McAfee I got the game lag.I also got video stutter and lag when I tried to watch online tv and movies. I have a fast overclocked system and should not be hindered by a program. 780i MB 8gig 1066 ddr2 ram Pentium e8600 dual core processor 2x GTX285 FTW video cards in SLI So I uninstalled McAfee and my system is screaming again.Games are running very smooth.Video and Movies have no stutters or hicups. It was the same with me and in google I can observe that they have been scamming many people for at least 5 years. This guy must be much more richer than Bill Gates by stealing!! I am sure that the scam came one time that I booked a travel package with Orbitz, at the end of the buying, it said something about Reservation Rewards, but nothing about having to pay $12 a month. This company takes advantage of considering themselves as legal since they send you an e-mail to your e-mail account and they give you one or two months free of charge. However, how many people ignore these trashy e-mails when they log into their e-mail accounts? I do. I remember that when I clicked I thought that it was something to get a stupid souvenir for when I went to my trip. Nothing of that! Another thing, how they tease people for a long time is that tat charge is included in our bank statements. However, as nowadays most of the people don't pay with cash, it is easy to ignore the amount of $12 and when you see it you think that it was some payment that you did sometime with your ATM card. The funny thing is that I didn't realize about the scam until I was abroad and stopped using my card. When I saw the charge of $12 dollars I started to wonder what the heck that was and to have a look at previous statements. What was my surprise when I saw myself charged for that "crap" (and I am sorry for my vocabulary, but that is what I though at the moment). Then, as many other people, I googled this Reservation Rewards Scam, and I was amazed by all the amount of people who were stolen by this company. I contacted with the company, and they told me that they had sent me several e-mails that demonstrated that I was accepting the conditions, as in one of the e-mails it said that I was free to cancel the service at any moment. That if I was in disagree with the service they could reimburse me 6 months (I was freaking out!) and if I continued in disagreement I could send them a Complaint paper or whatever. I was paid for the 6 months that they were stealing me. I never sent them my Complaint document as I am sure that it was going to be for nothing. Legally, these individuals have got their backs covered. What I have learnt from this experience is to avoid Orbitz whenever I need to buy a ticket, to take care with what I click in agreement and have a look at any trashy e-mail that I might have in my e-mail account.

Which game is better?I'm A Little Lost: MapleStory Or RuneScape ?I'm playing both ATM and I must say... Half the people I try to start a conversation with in Runescape don't respond because they're botting. There used to be a major "hack" problem in MS also but with the new virus program they use it's mainly gone away. Graphics: Runescape: Improved a TON over the last few years (I quit around 05) 8/10 Maplestory: You have a choice of how precise you want the background to look. (because of lag issues) 7/10 Skills: Runescape: Great variety but gets quite boring and not very difficult 5/10 Maplestory: Great variety as well. Currently working on my lvl 95 aran and I must say it is very very fun :] I love the skill, the uniqueness of each class, the greater rewards when I level up and I think the skills overall in MS are better 8/10 Grinding: Runescape: Not too hard until u get into the higher levels (70~99). Then it gets very very monotonous and dumb. There are also sacred clay items that give u 2x exp but those run out so fast that I feel its not even worth getting 7/10 Maplestory:Not too hard until you get into your higher levels (130~200) Then it also gets very very boring but you have options such as buying 2x Exp cards for certain times of the day and there is also this system which allows players to use something called "rep" to also obtain 2x Experience... However, even with these, at lvl 150+ it will be monotonous and dumb 8/10 Merchanting system: Note: This totally depends on your feelings about merchanting. I personally believe you should be able to have no trade limit because it allows for more freedom Runescape: Stupid trade limit was installed and now the game is practically communism. There is like... A few hundred coin difference between max and min prices in the Grand Exchange. Basically ensures that you make money. I don't like that style at ALL 3/10 Maplestory: No trade limit, monster drops are rare, YOU MERCHANT. No, the game does not tell you what to sell your items for. You can haggle. You can rip people off. You can get ripped off. This is how it works in real life. I do not feel the game should push u along like this and ensure your sucess in the game. 8/10 Overall, I think MS beats out RS but both are still good options. RS has been drastically improving (but I don't like the trade limit) and is becoming much more likable. A few years ago, I would have put half of what values I gave them today. -reply by Charles
