Carbonite limits the speed which you send data to themCarbonite Online Backup ReviewAlthough Carbonite allows for virtually unlimited storage, the caveat is, they limit the speed in which you can send them data. The beauty of this is, in effect, your storage is limited merely by the fact that the upload is soooo slow. Some will say its your Internet connection that is the weak link, perhaps thats the case if you are still using a dialup service, but odds are, its Carbonite. I'm not saying Carbonite isn't a service some should subscribe to, I'm just not saying its the silver bullet and you might consider a multi-tiered approach. I for one, push data to Live Mesh 2011 (you get 5GB free) and its really quick. Then in turn, I sync my other larger files above and beyond that 5GB to an external drive which I also keep on my hard drive (in this case a laptop). I then use Carbonite to back all of those sources up as I think the Carbonite subscription fee is fairly inexpensive. Overall, what I dislike is, it just takes too long to upload my files to Carbonite so I need to leave my laptop on at night and right now I'm in an initial backup stage on a new laptop and even though I have a fiber based Internet service with speeds approaching 100MB on a sustained basis, this service seems to creep along <sigh>.

Awesome.... It worked. My laptop was configured with Spanish language. I could not change in regional setting. I changed the registry as stated and then installed Windows XP service Pack 3. I downloaded the Windows XP service pack from Microsoft's website. There were some drivers which were configured in spanish which are still in spanish. I would love to see them changed but I am ok .. Thanks for the help....

DISH network is a horrible rip off company. They have no concept of customer loyalty. I will make sure they never come anywhere near me in the future. I will also make sure my friends and family also don't get anywhere close to that SCUM Company called DISH Network

Yes I agree with the previous comment(s) about the MacBook fan always running and the machine running red-hot for long periods of time. I believe it's an issue with the construction of the machine(s). Now the last I heard, Apple have announced this(these) issue(s) and are working on a fix ASAP as people have experienced their machines overheating and in rare cases exploding in their lap. The Apple MacBook issue is explain in Apple's documentary section under KA4400, I cannot provide a link as multiple tabs will be too much work for my Mac Mini and it will explode. However do a search on their website and all will be explained. Take care everyone, and keep your machine(s) COOL! Otherwise you risk an exploding computer on your lap, fan speeds/noise/volume/problem(s)/issue(s) should be the LAST thing on your mind. If one of these puppies goes bad (like they do) you'll know about it when you're in hospital with 3rd degree burns on your thighs and legs (and penis, rectum or genitals). Sims 2 IssuesSims 2I want to get this game I really do but there are a few issues involved. Money, I can't just throw money on a game. Getting it for free off the Internet is not an option. I have heard it will not work without a disk and the download size is over 2.5 Gigabytes. I will end up paying more for my Internet than if I get it from the store. If we forget about the issues with getting the game there are other issues. The game sounds really exciting but from my experience that excitement will quickly fade. Yep, I got the sims 1 a few years ago after sims 2 came out and it was really exciting at first but then it got really boring and I wished I did not get it in the first place. I am sure sims 2 will have the same effect. It will be the same waste. I could also create a game similar to the sims 2. I have created games with much bigger AI before such as Dots And Boxes which compared to Dabble. That will be much more exciting and I will be left with the feeling of acheivement that wow that I have created this game and not just playing someone else simulation. Other things I did not like was in the actual game. Children/babies would get taken away by the social worker.She would just magically worp to the child/baby and then worp away. -reply by Jay Estux

hi.... a good post indeed.... well to start with i would like to take a retrospective view of the powers of the so called modern world .... history clearly shows that england had ruled the world for about 3 centuries till 1920s inside out, but more importantly wat they did more than the economic rule they spred there culture which has lasting affects... they by the way of holding commonwealth countries and by many other means kinnted all those countries under them even today and enjoyed dominance over them even beyond the time when english economy is smaller than some countries from the list .US: if history is any witness then we can clearly see that US had enjoyed the super power strature for effectively very less time... it economic might started after 1940s and is almost for sure to be overcomed by china in very near future( say about 10 yers from now).... it was like a bubble which will be blown very soon. world sees on to the US only for there economic might and nothig more than that . once that might is gone than there will be no with them beyond that.CHINA: although it is growing at a humoungous rate but wat is badly ignored under the chinese regimine is there people. the people under china are not the happiest creatures of the world ... with all form of anti govt protest badly crushed by there military. with limited rights to the press... surely china will overcome the US by gdp means but not in terms of popularity...INDIA: it is surely the country to be looked for in the coming time say about from 2025... roaring economy .pool of talented ppl, diversity n the list goes on and on......wat would happen under this circumstance is US wil be forced to do several alliance with india from nuclear ( which is already in place), to many economic and military allliance..... for two specific reasons..1> to contain china.....2> for growing its economyso as i head towars the end i would say in the coming times there would be no clar cut a country which would be dominating the world but ther would be (us+india+uk+japan) and the other axis would be (china+ russia+iran)........ this alliance would be led by USA INDEED ATLEAST FOR COMING 50 YEARS OR SO..

I just want to say, that electronic artists do have a connection with their instruments (not those who use computors, but in a way they can too). I mean think about modular and analog synthesizers, you put your feeling into making the sound and playing the tune, I also think its wrong to say that dj's dont have connection with their turntables. I think its also wrong to say that "it takes no skill to make some type of music", I mean a guitarist wont be able to just walk over to my synthesizer and start playing super well, neither will I be able to go over and pick up a guitar. It does take skill to learn analog/modular synths just as much as it does to learn any other instrument. My main thing though is that Electronic music producers do have a connection to instruments, im not gona go further with the DJ's, but these are artists who actually play instruments, they are not all just like "Basshunter" (although he is my favorite) who only uses "fruity Loops" and turntables. my names teila and me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year and 8 months as of today.yesterday we skipped a little bit of school to spend time with eachother. when we got back to school every thing was fine. the next day he completely ignored me, he had a short tempered, he said that something i did got annoying(might i add what i did i usually do everyday but he didnt seem to have a problem with it then.)he would ignore me and laugh with other people and smile and have a good time but when he got aroung me his whole attitude would change.we talked about it over the phone and i told him i dont feel like a gf at all and he said he dosent know whats wrong he just has been feeling deatched from me ever since we spemt time together.the converations arre boring and we havnt made each other laugh or smile in the past 3 dayz. i dont know what to do.should i take a break or should w break up??please help me beause i love him to daeth and he is the only thing happy that i have in my life right now and knowing that we arent clicking anymore has sent my world crashing down.i need him in my life and i've never been more sure of anything but is the pain of waiting for him to talk to me worth it?i rather know now if we could work than be in the dark about it later on and then he just breaks up with me.

CDMA IS BESTCDMA vs GSMI have tried a GSM service in the US. CDMA is a better service. I have service in many places, like mountains, valleys, and in the middle of the desert. My main reason for having a phone is to make phone calls. In this regard, GSM sucks in the US. There were too many times I had to walk up and down a sidewalk or stop and start my car to get a signal with GSM. When I finally switched to CDMA it was a breath of fresh air. I don't ever worry about a signal now. If I cant talk, nobody can and generally I am the only one with service when in a group of people with GSM. I live in Colorado and used to have Comcast for TV service and never enjoyed their customer service. I switched to DISH Network when I started working in their tech support department and I haven't looked back since. The rigorous training to supply every customer with the best of service is incredible and I know that's definitely not implemented within other providers.
