Not a totaly clean uninstallHow To Uninstall Completely Office 2003I have uninstalled Office 2003 the normal way + with the Fix program found at Microsoft website + Ccleaner + manual search if the registry and there deleted what I found regarding Office/outlook/pst. BUT when after a reboot and an new install of Office 2003 again it still remembers that the pst file was in a special place (c:usermy mail ) and ask for the pst file. I can't find any trace of that path in the registry or in any file! yes, I have made a search for it! HOW do I make a TOTALY clean uninstall removing -everything-???? -reply by schtaan

Software updatesProblems With cPanelJust my two cents worth here, but I have to ask...Why haven't hosting companies learned to leave things that work great alone???I have watch and MOVED from 3 hosting companies for similar reasons.One actually screwed their services up so bad that they went belly up (1PlanHost.Com), despite the fact that they were stable and popular for the 6 years I used them.The last one claimed they were making improvements to benefit the customers when all they were doing was installing more and more after market schemes.It's sad that hosting companies can get it, your customers want fast, reliable, and stable service. Got some input on this one.Help: Setting Default Index Page on XAMPP Web-ServerI had the same problem. My local version redirecting to to /xampp when all I wanted was http://localhost. First: index.Php is designed to redirect to /xampp ( header('Location: '.$uri.'/xampp/'); ) I didn't want to mess with this file, if you do then replace the contents or delete the file and the redirect will go away... I wanted to work on the index.Html, but because of the DirectoryIndex entry in httpd.Conf, it always opted for the index.Php, instead of the index.Html file, because index.Php was before index.Html in the file list. When a directory request (e.G. http://localhost) is made to Apache it determines the file to respond with by looking at the list of files defined in DirectoryIndex in the order that they are listed. So, I moved index.Html to the front of the DirectoryIndex list, so Apache "finds" it and responds with index.Html. Of course, if I delete index.Html it will look for and find index.Php... Of course, if I renamed index.Php to something not in DirectoryList it would solve the problem as well. -reply by Tony

You can use mixcraft instead of garageband, but you don't have the magic garageband files like roots rock, blues, rock and the other loops. If it could be a way to download the original loops, found them at youtube, but in very bad quality. Maybe if someone in the forum that use mac could upload the files here. If you have the files from garageband you can use Mixcraft, and Audacity (but if you're using audacity you must have each instrument in separate channels in mp3 or wav so i don't recommend it, but it works.)

You can cut the fat parts of the cotton on each end of a q tip and wet it with rubbing alcohol. Then dip it inside the earphone jack and clean the sides up and down slowly. Be careful that no cotton stays inside the speaker jack otherwise you will have a new problem to deal with. 2. In addition, with a small piece of sand paper, gently (and I mean gently) rub around the pin (of the headphones) that you insert inside the speaker jack. Then, clean it with rubbing alcohol and let it dry about a minute to make sure the mp3 speaker jack and earphone pin jack are both dry. Once you insert it, your sound should return to normal with both sides sounding nicely.I had the same problem with my mp3. I tried about 4 different headphones and I could only hear one side or press very hard to hear both sides. After doing 1 and 2 above, kaboom, the head phones work nicely and I am now enjoying my music.Hope it works for all you. This also works for any audio gadget that uses speaker phones. .Magda73

I continue to have a problem with my date and time changing randomly. The computer is only 3 months old and has been doing this since the moment I purchased it. It continues to revert to 2009, but without the same month or date. The computer was manufactured in 2010, so I cannot understand how it keeps reverting to 2009. I have tried recovering it with no success. I try to be safe with the types of websites I open, and I always copy and paste internet links. I feel that I am pretty knowledgeable about computers, having listen to leo laporte for ten years, but I have never seen this issue before. It is affecting all the files on my computer. I use quikbooks, and I thought I was loosing my invoices, so I was retyping them, to find out that it was storing them under the wrong date. It is also doing is with my emails. Ii will type an email to a customer and they say they are not recieving them. I got inot big trouble with a customer because they thought I was ignoring them. I was preparing a report of my communications with them and I could not find most of the emails. After researching a little deeper it had time stamped my emails for 2009, and when sent to my customer the emails were being place at the bottom of the list because of the time stamp. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO PREVENT THIS.

dragon age origins is one of the most enthralling games i have played but i found it wasn't nearly as long as i had hoped it would be but a friend has told me the expansions make it a lot more enjoyable, in my opinion it is defiantly worth buying. I played world of warcraft for about 3 months and was doing all right had a nice ride and armour everything was going perfect until they released cataclysm. I mean its ONE thing to buy all of the disks then pay the 8 pounds a month but then to render everything you have completely worthless and useless just completely killed the experience making it a road that i will never go down again as blizzard can just release a new game when ever they feel like it and meaning you end up spending a lot of money. Two worlds was really really really boring until i discovered i could cheat and i know it ruins the game but the game was so slow anyway so i just went around killing everything and became obsessed with getting all of the best armour until one day my character was perfect.. it also meant every living being on the map was dead which meant i didn't quite have as much fun.. two worlds two on the other hand was really boring and possibly worst that the first one so don't bother. if your twelve play runescape it was bloody fun. Okay don't get angry at me but I would suggest to you mount and blade, it lacks the free roaming ability but it does lead to hours of fun and is worth buying for sure. Games i really want to check out are dragon age II and the witcher II. fall out 3 havn't played much but the bits that i have played the time between action is massive and i prefer swords and magic anyway, well hoped it helped..
