Hey plot, yea I passed the level.The problem was, I worked out what to do, but my sound recording and playback was not clear that I couldn't make out the exact words the operator was saying, Audacity helped me by eliminating the need for Sound Recorder. It is beneficial to those who don't have a microphone. You wouldn't get far without speakers/headphones though.Even using Audacity though the clarity was better, but I had to look at the picture and think what the theme was all about to guess the exact phrase. Since I'm from the country that the director is from and where the movie was produced, it was quite easy to recognise the theme and then assume the phrase.Cheers,MC

OpenOffice Writer Vs AbiWord... the biggest problem, is they aren't producing their competitors extensions types (swx, abi) for one or the other (maybe this has changed now?).I've used AbiWord and OpenOffice Writer, and depending on what you use them for, would be why you picked one over the other, I use OpenOffice Writer as I use a lot more OpenOffice applications and thought there really was no reason to need more than one word processing program, so I decided to keep the OpenOffice suite.Cheers,MC

Just an idea, any config you're going to alter, always make a backup of it, incase problems like this arise, so you can revert back to the original and try again.Did you try the config without xtt?Load "freetype"Load "type1"Load "speedo"#Load "xtt" X True Type Font ModuleWhich I have commented out due to it's incompatibilities.Just sounds like you weren't loading the right font modules. Try without "xtt" and if you don't have any problems, consider it sorted.Cheers,MC

The best method is to play swf files through Flash Player, due to it's security sandbox technique which doesn't allow swf files to read data from the hard drive except for cookie data that it creates.Make sure you've installed the Flash Player plugin for Firefox, I'm thinking firefox doesn't directly know the type of file associated with swf by default so you may need to make sure it knows how to handle the swf extension, this will be found in Firefox's preference under Downloads.Cheers,MC

Fiinal Fantasy VII was an amazing game. I loved the way it really changed from six to seven. It was just beautiful the second I saw the intro ten years ago. Even though the game had so much bugs, so much glitches, and some grammar mistakes, it was truly game of the year. I remember playing it for like about 10 hours a day, took many hours just to find certain drops from monsters. I also leveled up to max for everyone except Aerith. I even came so close to getting max stats with them. I put many many hours into that game and from time to time I would pick up the game and play it a few hours just to get a nostalgic feeling from certain scenes. Whether you hated the game, or thought it wasn't the best, it was still truly an amazing game at the time.

hi ...If you are not familiar with installing an configuring grub/lilo (its the boot-manager), it would be the easiest way to have an installed windows OS already and install the linux as the second.You don't have to do this, but in this case, the windows installation is found by the system - and grub/lilo is automaticlly configured fine. Also, windows delete the MBR during the installation process and you just can reinstall grub/lilo by booting with Knoppix or another LinuxOnCD.*greets*

Hi,i think BeOS is a nice, but very tiny OS. It's perfect for older persons, they don't need or don't want care about something like a Multi-User Systems and so on. I have some customers who just want to stay in touch with children via email or internet. Here was it the easiest way to install BeOS in a simple Installation Process on a verry slow Computer to reach the best and a secure result.*greetings*

hi,i work just in smaller projects with MySQL ... e.g. if we just want to organize forum-threads. If we create complex Data-Structures or want to store Images direct in the Database we sooner use a powerful DB like PostgreSQL.

I don't thik so - It was Adobe with "Photoshop" and "Premiere" who was (maybe just in germany) the giant of picture and movie-processing companies. Later Macromedia was a (somtimes) good alternative. Just the tool "Flash" was something new ... but Lingo is not my favourite maybe the fusion is a nice way to compare both pro's and earase the con's *greetings*

Hello im a new member here and would like to greetz everyoneElite.

For me, this game is okay for a hockey game. Just, against other sports game, it can't really hold itself so long in my opinion. But for a hockey game against other hocker games, its very nice. Also, does anyone remember the old school game on Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) called Blades of Steel? That was my first hockey game ever. It was crazy fun. "Hit the puck, hit the puck." Then you duke it out with others when you grab them and hit them evenly enough. Haha, love it.

Currently I use notepad. It's the cheapest way to do your own codings, and quite nice if you know what you're doing. I do tend to go and try programs too since they can teach me so so much more than notepad. So for the new people just coming into programming, I recommend using a program instead of notepad haha. That is until you get much better at it. Frontpage or whatever was what I used to use like in the golden ages of when I began. So that quite helped me throught most of it all. TRY IT !!
