The Big Bang: Did It Really Happen?
iGuest replied to webdesignunlimited's topic in Science and Technology
Well there is a lot of controveresy over this topic and you must remember that it is a "theory" so there is no solid proof that it actually happened. Some may say God created the Universe like me or they may use scientic reasoning to prove the methods in which the universe was created but in the end who is to say what is right or wrong everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i dont know if you are interested but i think it has been proven that the moon is actually a part of the earth that broke off when the massive comet hit earth and eradicated all the dinosaurs. -
Psp Or Not? Buy a PSP? Or spend the money on somethi
iGuest replied to webdesignunlimited's topic in Computer Gaming
Personally i think the sony Psp is not worth the money. It only has about 32 mb of internal memory and the highest memory card is only 2 gb. if your like me that isn't enough for music. But on the other hand if you are only interested for the games and the fact that it is almost like a portable dvd player, then you might want to buy it. But my final decision would be to save the money and wait for Sony PS3 that is supposed to come out in Early spring.Have you ever heard of the iAudio X5. It is a portable media player that not only plays videos but it also has great battery life and it only cost about $300. but if your serously in it for the games then dont get it because there really is no point unless you are constantly traveling. -
it wasn't that scary... But i liked it....

XML is pretty simple and very flexible. It has many uses yet to be discovered, and we are only beginning to scratch the surface of its potential. It is the foundation for a great many standards yet to come, providing a common language that different computer systems can use to exchange data with one another. As each industry group comes up with standards for what it wants to say, computers will begin to link to each other in ways previously unimaginable. Ye am also waiting anxiously . Lets See wht comes out from it

I dont know but i thought it would be beneficial for readers. u guys can correct it if I am wrong ..Web Clients:-A web client consists of two parts: (1) dynamic web pages containing various types of markup language (HTML, XML, and so on), which are generated by web components running in the web tier, and (2) a web browser, which renders the pages received from the server. A web client is sometimes called a thin client. Thin clients usually do notquery databases, execute complex business rules, or connect to legacy applications. When you use a thin client, such heavyweight operations are off-loaded to enterprise beans executing on the J2EE server, where they can leverage the security, speed, services, and reliability of J2EE server-side technologies. Application Clients :-An application client runs on a client machine and provides a way for users tohandle tasks that require a richer user interface than can be provided by a markuplanguage. It typically has a graphical user interface (GUI) created from theSwing or the Abstract Window Toolkit (AWT) API, but a command-line interfaceis certainly possible.Application clients directly access enterprise beans running in the business tier. However, if application requirements warrant it, an application client can openan HTTP connection to establish communication with a servlet running in theweb tier.

Who Is Your Favorite Game Character? Please give details of why.
iGuest replied to iGuest's topic in Computer Gaming
I'd say Chaos from Xenosaga. He has such a high spirit, but yet he seems like he's hiding so much from us as gamers and the other characters. I really hope more on his past is revealed in Xenosaga III once it comes out whenever. -

Is ther special way to tell xsl processor these are hard coded values? Heres the a code snippet of were I need to add the string: <table border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" id="table"><xsl:for-each select="a/c/e" order-by="+ k"><col width="80"></col><col width="100"></col><col width="100"></col><col width="100"></col><col width="100"></col><col width="100"></col><col width="100"></col><tr> <td width="80" align="center" valign="top"><xsl:element name="input" use-attributes-sets="checkbox-attribs"><xsl:attribute name="name">imagebox</xsl:attribute><xsl:attribute name="type">checkbox</xsl:attribute><xsl:attribute name="value">ADD STRING HERE </xsl:attribute></xsl:element></td> Please Help!!!!!!

Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail Whos winning the battle?
iGuest replied to jcguy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
it is more important that the email provider is safe, including taking good care of personal info, the content to the mail and much more. -
i think it is a common way. and i think it is easy to be discovered under some firewalls, and sometimes it is not safe. and i think it is better to leave the proxy bandwitch to the people who really need to use proxy servers.

there is a ie plugin here in china called 3721, it is really bad because it can remove anything except itself. but there's some people having created some tools for removing them, but sometimes it wont work well. i think there is a need for some big companies and professions to do that.

VS.NET provides a number of tools to work on XML documents. One of them enables you to check if a given XML document is well formed. While on the XML view of an XML document, you may useXML>>Validate XML Data of the main menu to see if the document is well formed. The system displays its findings in the bottom-left corner of the status bar. Similarly, you can use the Schema Validation tool to check if your schema is well formed, too. While on the XML view of the schema, use the Schema>>Validate Schema of the main menu to perform this task. However, none of the above tests guarantee that your XML data is alid according to the rules specified in the schema. To accomplish this task, you will need to link your XML document to a particular schema frst. Then you can test the validity of the XML document. To assign a chema to an XML document, perform the following steps:1. Display the XML document in XML view (in the XML Designer).2. Display its Property sheet. (It will be captioned DOCUMENT.)3. Open the drop-down list box at the right-hand side of the targetSchema, and select the appropriate schema.4. Now, go ahead and validate the document using the XML>>Validate XML Data of the main menu. By the way, there are many other third-party software packages that can also test if an XML document is well formed, and if it is valid (against a given schema). In this context, we have found the XML Authority (by TIBCO) and XML Writer (by Wattle Software) to be very good.

XML is quickly becoming the universal protocol for transferring informationfrom site to site via HTTP. Whereas, the HTML will continue tobe the language for displaying documents on the Internet, the developerswill start using the power of XML to transmit, exchange, andmanipulate data using XML.XML offers a very simple solution to a complex problem. It offers astandard format for structuring data or information in a self-defineddocument format. This way, the data are kept independent of the processesthat will consume the data. Obviously, the concept behind XML isnothing new. XML happens to be a proper subset of a massive specifi-cation named SGML developed by W3C in 1986. The W3C began todevelop the standard for XML in 1996 with the motivation that XMLwould be simpler to use than SGML but that it will have more rigid structurethan HTML. Since then, many software vendors have implementedvarious features of XML technologies. For example, Ariba has built itsentire B2B system architecture based on XML, many Web servers (suchas Weblogic Server) utilize XML specifications for configuring variousserver related parameters, Oracle has included necessary parsers andutilities to develop business applications in its 8i/9i suites, and finally, the.NET has also embraced the XML technology.XML contains self-defined data in document format. Hence it isplatform independent. It is also easy to transmit a document from a siteto another site easily via HTTP. However, the applications of XML do notnecessarily have to be limited to conventional Internet applications only.It can be used to communicate and exchange information in other contexts, too. For example, a VB client can call a remote function by passingthe function name and parameter values using a XML document. Theserver may return the result via a subsequent XML document. Basically, that is the technology behind the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol).what u think about it?

Mfirefox --vs-- Iexplorer i use both
iGuest replied to Kid Saiyan's topic in Websites and Web Designing
it is obvious that ie attracts people doing thicks on it and i think it is less secure than firefox. but ive learnt that a recent report by symantec shows that there are more dangerous bugs in mozilla than ie. it is just hard to say. -
The program itself is safe, as long as you downloaded one that's not from kazaa or something. Get it from it's official website to avoid hidden viruses and trojans inside of it.It's what you download that is not safe in certain cases. Sometimes, right when a download finishes and begins seeding, a virus might be detected in the file. Hopefully you do have ur antivirus on for it to be seen, although most viruses can pass that still. You just gotta watch out what you download with bittorent. Usually it's the programs that might contain a hidden virus when installing. I got so many, but luckily norton detected them all, and afterwards I deleted the program and put way from that forever.

Sequels aren't usually suppose to be different from their first one. That's like saying "Oh, this world is first planet Earth. Lets make the sequel planet Pluto for no reason, and make new characters. And while we're at it, why bother calling it a sequel at all?" That's the statement I'd say if something like that were to happen and not make sense. A sequel should always be related to the game in many ways, but give off that excitement you crave for. I don't see anything wrong with a sequel that's like the first part, but slightly different and new storyline if the genre requires it to be so.

Man, my friend bought two 7800 GTX cards or something SLI for his tower. It is a power house I tell you. That guy sure knows how to waste money, literally. You don't need two of the greatest cards at once together. That's just showing off Of course, I want one too, but one card is enough for now. Each of those cards are like very expensive. I think it was over 400 dollars for one! My friend's computer he said it's about 3000 dollars. Now that's crazy.
