  1. Yeah the images in the first post are definately fakes, I remember reading they were made in photoshop I didnt know they existed, the longhorn theme looks a lot more professional in my opinion and will do pretty well, the XP theme looks too childish too me.
  2. Wow, looks really cool and smooth, the KDE theme is great but one for windows I must say that it looks like a lot of work and it looks worth it, hoepfulyl once my PC starts working right ill use it as my default.
  3. But why Opera, Firefox proves a great community browser and lots of people love it, its new and in rapid development, so why change?
  4. Upload to the public_html folder and see if that help you, it should.
  5. MDS5 cracking isnt easy, without a computer I dont think you would be able to it would take an age but why would you want to, if you did they could change it easier than you could undo it.
  6. Its certainly cool, infact very cool, no chnace of a windows version that small anyway.
  7. Is there a program anyone could recomend as I cant get my CPU temperature through the bios, hmm ive looked but dont think im looking right, I just end up with tools for gaging CPU speed
  8. It would be nice if the major free mail providers would all corolate findings and have one spam database that was closer to perfect than the individual ones then there will be a lot less of it all.
  9. Actually google is publically available, you need to ask though, most forums on the net today have atleast one member with a Gmail invite, although you can see changes taking place all the time and in tradition with google its all simple to use although I dont like the way the help links are, always forwarding somewhere.
  10. Cool, ive used a program to do it before but new accounts still worked fine. Still a cool option though
  11. Open Office seems much better on Linux than on Windows, its functionality and look, looks a lot better on Linux in my opinion.
  12. Ive broke my PC before with Regedit. I was a lot younger and just played about changing things and its certainly not recommened, but it was a knowledge base of information on what not to touch
  13. cPanel goes slow sometimes, just the way it is, all hosts have the same thing, give it about 30 minutes and it usually is much faster, Ive had it myself but it leaves pretty fast
  14. Thats what I was thinking, it may come out of beta but keep the invite system that way it wont overload and we will continue to get mail safely and not have any time without mail.
  15. Well Databases being down could be due to a random crash along with maybe too many connections. This is one of the first hosts ive been with that actually managed to give there promise of MySQL properly.
  16. Ive already asked, unless you can get some decent instruction on how to add it and give the files and such it isnt gonna happen.
  17. this is so cool, didnt even think it could be done, I wonder what the outcome will actually do success wise, this will be interesting, so you've actually seen it work? Not just the screenshots, I dont wanna try a dummy.
  18. Wow thats something, still 3.20Ghz is still a respctable speed for a computer, anyway where do you buy all that equipment, I cant think of anywhere near me that woul sell half the stuff I would need. Second picture is my favourite, but well done anyway.
  19. Oh its great and Id love to see the source to see how iyts done, pinging? or requesting something? but its looks cool. Ive seen a few on other sites before and most just ping or use a cron tab but that looks unique. Also i liked the uptime stated in my admin panel that was cool.
  20. Tiscali United Kingdom, speeds vary but im supposed to get 256K download and somthing upload but I forgot but its rare if ever I actually get the speed I want but there under a network upgrade right now but its pretty stable and Ive never had a big problem just high ping, and low speed.
  21. Apache Friends, it has Apache 2 - php 5.0.3 or php 4.3.10 also it comes with MySQl, phpmyadmin, FTP server program, Mail server program, GD and lots of other cool things, it doesnt leave reg keys so deleting it is just deleting the folder that it comes in, I use it and it comes with Perl if you want it, just start it program and terminate it when finished its a great thing and in english unlike Easyphp which I used to use.
  22. So you chose invision Power Board I see, well a few problems with that, the new version isnt free and you would need to buy a copy of it from them which is quite costly, there arent any boards made, I guess thats because of its long procedure of making them, just as a reminder SMF will be simpler than that to install and run and a lot more fun and has a lot of an easier admin panel that is great for beginers and experts and is truly a great pirece of software.
  23. Internet Connection? - If its down how are you meant to see that page?
  24. I like KDE, its a pleasure to work with but i will say it can be limited, and a tad windowsish. But overall i recomend it and im using it along with SuSE and it looks nice and sleek although ive not been using it alot recently i will though but im still using windows for me useage.
  25. Although I would suggest SMF from Simplemachines.org its a new forum from the developers of YaBBSE, its very easy to use, easy to theme and lots of mods, its still not the biggest but pleaces like 40k.ca and redandwhitekop.com all use it and have very successful sites, you should have a look, installing is pretty easy and it is a great piece of software in my opinion that is well wortha try and you will probably love it
