I STRONGLY suggest SMF, you wont find a better Free ption in my opinion. Very simple to use and VERY easy to set up, very powerful if needed but simple to learner admins. I do recommend this more than any else! -
Yes if you were to take linux and put it in a manufacturers Pc comapny, say Pc World, Currys, Dixons (In the UK) and then gave the choice im sure many people would switch, the thing I hate most about microsoft is the Authenticity CD Keys, they annoy me far too much but given the coice the majority would choose linux.

Suse gets my vote, only one ive ever used and its pretty good. Although I have seen some others running that look so much cooler. -
But what if all the companys got together (Long shot) and then Viruses would be dealt with within like minutes of hitting a system. Same code, same virus, thousands of developers, no more virii but we all know that wont happen but dreams are worth keeping.

But then it gonna break sometime, something will give way, something will break. Its the same with everything it can do well for ages but then it will eventually break, I tried that with a stereo before they eventually do break and if it does then there may be big scale mail loss. But then maybe it will last another double its life. -
