Your mods will probably be screwed if you upload subs.php again, its one of the core files along with load.php. If you can go into your admin panel and remove the mod using the uninstaller and then install again, yeah the shop mod is a weird shop alright.

Ive got the open source program Blender and such but im at a total loss of knowledge on how to use it.I would like to do small animations, maybe an minute or two long in 3D, hell maybe make a crappy little series but I dunno how to do work like that. UBB by Infopop didnt keep up, it was the biggest at a point but their features didnt improve greatly and the basic look stayed and still does, they didnt evolve like the rest and this dropped out. Many were better and free, but some people still use it, channel 4 and websuer do but nothing like the ammount of use of the others.Spacewaste thank you, although give it a go now, a lot has improved and its getting better, maybe by the end of summer 1.1 will be out which incorpoorates a lot of improvements, more speed (I think aswell) and a lot of other little gizmo's to play with. Some things that other systems have but SMF lacks, SMF is growing and more and more people are using it, there are a lot of large forums starting to use it. It was actually even in a recent WebUser publication as the software that was the forum to use. phpBB has recently (through no fault of theres) declined people are starting to hack it and people are fed up upgrading every two weeks. The sooner there new system comes out the better but it does have some things I aboslutely hate in it (CVS) and some thing maybe 5 people will actually care about, but then its not finished so ill give it time, but SMF will still probably be my choice.

Have you checked the controls of SMF, you do control everything, it looks simple and basic but just click the permissions buttons and scroll past the easy stuff and then look at just what you can do, SMF gives you better than vB for free IMO

Yeah your real close, ive got all the skins installed and got avatars for all my members, my database is around a meg and I have like 3500+ posts, it works out nicely, SMF doesnt take more than 3MB itself and if its a small forum, avatars wont take up more than 1MB if you set it to make them all the same size and it will make them PNG's also the 150MB is plenty to run a good forum and SMF fits nicely.

If that doesnt work, try using your ISP's SMTP server, if it doesnt work it can also mean that Outlook Express has become corrupted which would need a re-install. Virus "writers" arent paid unless they work for an anti virus firm, in which case they just make them to test the product out right. Usually they dont get released and if they do are usually harmless.
