I don't think they're against the eula. Well, I don't think you can really get in troubled (legal trouble) when you use one. I think it just ruins the entire game all together. Besides, I know some people who can shoot and aim faster and more accurate than an aimbot. All it takes is time and patience.

How Did You Get Gmail All GMail members Invited
snlildude87 replied to delivi's topic in The Internet
I got it from a friend when gmail was relatively new. I wasn't one of the first to get it, but I remember when I signed up, certain common names were still available. I would have grabbed them, but Google did not hand out invites as much and as often as they do now. -
Which Control Panel? choosing your control panel
snlildude87 replied to adly3000's topic in General Discussion
I love cpanel, too. Every option you need to administer your site is right there for you in an easy to understand (and neat) format/design. To answer your question, if I had a control panel to use, I think I'll choose cpanel above the rest because of its user friendly interface. I would also choose it because I've had a really good experience with it at Xisto. -
Of course you can make your own. The usual size is 88 x 31. Remember to make it so that it will attract the most attention. This will give us more visitors, so there will be more ad clicks, and Xisto will get more money in general. That means a better service for everyone.

Rate My Site (its My First)
snlildude87 replied to prisoner1997's topic in Websites and Web Designing
The design is a bit simple, but I like it. The only thing I'd recommend is to make your welcome/index page more inviting. Instead of putting an ad block that's half of the page, replace it with game links (perhaps popular games?). That way, your newer visitors will know that you have something to offer. Also, on the pages where you list the games, add descriptions to the games. The screenshots can be very misleading. -
Truefusion, no doubt. The rest are all pretty standard sigs whereas truefusion's caught my eyes right away. Kudos on that.Reaver: 0Avalon: 0Truefusion: 1

Nice code, but why would you make your own when you can have another hit counter done professionally from a site such as statcounter.com that counts unique visitors and shows specific details about each visitor?

I like it. Simple layout + good content = gold Here are some of my suggestions: 1. For the side menu, make the text color a little more prominent. Instead of using light purple for Calendar, Recent, and Archive, try to make it white. 2. The google ads should be embedded inside your content to maximize your revenue. 3. The email feature should have a field for the sender's email address and name as well. I guess the sender can sign his name at the bottom, but just having those fields will make the email look less like spam. 4. Make the margin (CSS) on the pictures a little bit bigger so that they're not so close to the text.

Here's A Nice And Interesting Way To Make Comments In your php files
snlildude87 replied to Dooga's topic in Programming
Actually, the extension doesn't really have to be .php, .php3, or .phtml. It can still be .htm or .html. Just add this line to your .htaccess file: AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm Now your .htm or .html files will execute as php. Dooga, did you really have to make a story for that? -
Pay Per Impression any good companies out there?
snlildude87 replied to conret's topic in Online Advertising
now, are these pay per impression? that sounds superb because my site can easily reach 10,000 impressions each day, and I'm always looking for a service that will increase the revenue from my site. -
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder also known as OCD
snlildude87 replied to JasperIk's topic in General Discussion
Hmm, what you're saying sounds a lot like my old self. I can relate to just about every item on your list. I don't know...but I don't have it anymore. I guess I just found something to do, and after a while, I stopped thinking about all those stuff. -
Trillian 3.1 Basic Or Pro Overview of Trillian IM client
snlildude87 replied to WBBulldogs's topic in Software
I don't like it. I tried using it once, and I hate the way that it renders fonts and fonts' backgrounds. Like, if the person that you're talking to uses a small type font, then it's show on trillian as supersmall. I've had this problem many times when I'm talking to opaque. I also don't like it's interface. If you ask me, I think that it's too loaded on graphics making my computer slower. But yeah, I agree that it is better to use it than to use 5 different programs at once. Definitely frees up some memory. I, on the other hand, only use 1--AIM. -
Whoa that's cool! It's also a good idea.Hmm, I might do something like that...register a domain name that corresponds to the numbers on a phone. If I may ask, how did you find that?

If you ask me, I think that it's harder for your pictures to be indexed than your website. I don't know why that is...perhaps that Google spends more time on its main search engine rather than its image search engine? :-/One thing I can tell you is that getting your picture indexed depends heavily on your site's pagerank. If you pagerank is a really low number, than the chances that your picture will be on the first several pages in Google is slim to none. However, if the website that's hosting your picture has a high pagerank, then your picture will appear within the first several pages easily. So what you can do? Use another host such as imageshack.us to host your pictures!

Web Designs Working on getting resources up.
snlildude87 replied to Mich's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Congratulations! You don't have to worry about Xisto. We never oversell, so it would be very hard for us to go down under all of a sudden. Also, we have a huge user base who makes good quality posts everyday, so our content continues to grow. In doing so, our random people who find us on search engines sign up, and we have more members. Then, the entire cycle repeats.Good luck on your site! -

What Kind Of Ads To Put On Your Site best ad company
snlildude87 replied to conret's topic in Business Forum
I'd say use Google Adsense. Google pays me every month, and their customer service (if you will) is superb. I love it. I don't, however, recommend it for sites will slow traffic. If you can get your site's traffic up to 1000+ unique visitors, then Adsense is for you. I think this goes for every website also, because in my opinion, putting ads on your site when it gets minimal traffic is useless because out of x people who goes to your site, only about 1/10th of x will click on your ads. -
Will that space fit anymore links? Seriously though, that sounds like a good idea. Hosting on Xisto server will increase uptime in case those image hosting sites go down for any reason.

The Best Way To Make Money I have earned 675? this month
snlildude87 replied to mimi_hat's topic in Business Forum
The best way to make money online in my opinion is not through something quick and easy like this but to make a website and put ads on it. The more content you have -> the more people will go to your site -> the more clicks you get -> the more money you make. -

Best Admin - So so hard to decide. If it's not for OpaQue, then Xisto would not have been alive. NilsC (the admin who was active during the first half of '05) was pretty good, but I just cannot choose between OpaQue, NilsC, and Buffalo. Best Mod - Hard to decide. I think we (staff) should look at who has done the most in terms of eliminating spammers or setting rules for others to follow. Best Member - :-/ Best Designer - Johnny. Another site that really helped me learned was http://www.hackingwithphp.com/9/0/0 It's everything you need to know about databases--selecting, inserting, updating, dropping. If you want see examples, click on Table of Contents, and then go to the Practical PHP chapter. As always, you can always use the php website for help on syntax: http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysql.php Different MySQL query syntax can be found on their website at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/select.html. That's just the SELECT query. There are more on the left. Good luck!
