Hm, what you've said doesn't sound correct. Login to Yahoo small business and click on manage domain link at the left menu. YOu can see where to modify nameserver, mx record, and everything. I too have one domain with Yahoo Small business and I could do this few days back. You shouldn't be having any problems at this stage. Yahoo allows you to host anywhere it means you are allowed to change your nameserver anytime. Please login to your yahoo small business control panel and check those links once again.

I just wanted to add more lines to my above post.You are probably asking for help : how to change the permission.As I've said go to the Gamesector folder and click configuration.php file, on right side of the Cpanel you will be able to see the properties or options of this file like DELETE | Rename file | change permission | etc. Click on change permission. And Tick all the options when pop-up to tick appear which is nothing but option to change file permission. When you ticked all the options the file permission will be 777. If you check the first two lines it will be 666.777 means All writeable.

Go to your mambo mail folder and check for configuration.php, you must change the permission to 666 or 777 according to the need. In most cases 666 is okay, but in case if it doesnt resolve that issue chmod the file to 777. It will work out. After you made changes to your site you may chmod again the file to the original 644 or 444 which is a safe permission file. Configuration.php file is located in Cpanel > public_html> Gamesector folderI hope this helps. Otherwise reply again here.

I do not really trust completely with this kind of website. Firstly it looks very attractive but looks suspicious. There are many websites like this one on the internet these days. /home/lozbo/public_html is the correct one. But check whether you should put 'back slash' i.e. / after /home/lozbo/public_html the joomla installer might have already mentioned to put end slash or not. What you see in your FTP directory is starting from /home/lozbo/ so you start seeing public_html and other files there. The root path therefore is /home/lozbo/public_html case 2: But if you install your joomla in another folder within public_html you must put the rooth path as /home/lozbo/public_html/folder I hope this helps. I found out that AVG Free version isn't eliminating even trojan viruses. I only have this free version from protecting my system. Is it okay to install one more anti-virus software on top of this AVG Free version which is already installed and updated to the latest version?I have the option of installing Norton Anti-virus 2005. Will it cause any problem since the two softwares may use the same source from the computer, if I install this one?Do you recommend that I should uninstall first the existing software and install the new one? I agree with most of the points made by Professor Kirby for sustaining the credits in trap seventeen dot com forums. As far as my experience is concerned not only long posts but a long post should be readable, which make sense and also make sense in terms of punctuations and grammers as well. It is also good to make paragraphs or break space/line if the post is getting longer. When one sees one post which is almost filling up half of the page but without line break is not only boring to see but difficult to read because sometimes you get lost where you are. And all these are being noticed by moderators and admins, I suppose. Because it reflects in credits. Another thing I notice is, instead of posting many in one forum, if we post in different forums - like one is sports, another in general, still another in members' area, like this also helps increase credits because it simply shows how much one is participating in making the community. Sorry to hear that. I did have the same experience. After earning some amount it was really bad. My site cannot become self-relient anymore. Google adsense has helped it survive in the past but now I need to put my own money to make it alive....Google is very strict in invalid activity. Unless the webmaster is changed or the website got a new look, it seems that they don't accept any request. I've made several requests in the past but it doesn't work out. Why not make the webmaster as your own brother or sister and apply in their name? I am also going to try out this way. Right now I've got google adsense through another website of mine but they made clear that I cannot place the code in the banned site. There is probably no contextual ads as good as google adsense. However, if you are US based you could apply for Yahoo contextual advertisement it is in beta version but I heard from some US friends that click-through rate is even better than adsense. Just search Yahoo website for the same. I hope this helps.

I do not really recommend any other sites other than google adsense. Because I found out that none of them are better in terms of click through rates. I had a very bad experience with adhearus.com, they just disappeared with my earning amounting to more than 20US dollars. chitika dot com is really not as good as google adsense so does clicksor dot com.However, if you are United states based or have sites that have United States based audiences you can apply for yahoo contextual advertisement. It is in beta version but I heard that click through rate is much better than google adsense.

I have never used Yahoo briefcase and to tell you frankly I do not know untill I see your posting here. I thought it is something new Yahoo is bringing up. I think the current version of text links for buttons are much better. It loads much faster. Since ads are already taking much download time to put extra loading time for buttons is unnecessary move. Of course, I understand that for many users speed isn't a problem because they have high-speed internet connections. But trap seventeen has members from different parts of the world with varied internet connection speed. And much like we have to keep thinking about 800x600px screen resolution pc users Xisto too has to take care of those slow internet speed connection users. Besides like others have said it also saves a lot of bandwidth.

I think both the terms used here are correct. Some people prefer to call it notebook which is very convenient and userfriendly name which is nothing but a laptop. It is how people actually wanted to call it. For example, in the far east and eastern countries like Japan and Korea (may be including CHinese) they use the term Notebook very often while in the west and other countries more people use the term laptop. Some people also called small laptop say less than 12 inches monitor laptop as notebook since it just look like a notebook while bigger ones are called laptop. Domain can be hosted in Linux server or windows server. If order to have your own website running on the world of internet, you need domain and host. If you host your website in your own server - your server must have nameserver to which you need to point your domain dns record. If you have bought a web server, i didn't buy for nothing. Just register your choice domain and host it in your own server. But I wonder whether you've bought web host server or just local computer server for testing websites locally.

Yes, it will be nice to always achieve something when post count is well over those magic numbers. Right now I do not have any propery idea how should the nature of ranking and naming be. For example, I have over 300 posts and have hosted my site(s) here for the past one year (almost), meaning I'm well settled here. Last time I played one football game with one friend, it was pretty interesting. I named all my players with the world's best and he too did the same and we played. My team beat his team 5-3. Have you ever played like that too? Is football manager 2006 any different from this kind of game?

The best way to implement this is to create a new template for mambo itself apart from the template you are using for your homepage and other pages. YOu can assign the forum template from admin backend page. The new template you are going to create can be matched with the phpBB template you are going to use. Otherwise what you can do is to install this component to open in a new browser not sharing the same template of the mambo site itself.note: When I say mambo (it is upto version 4.5.3.1) any joomla versions will be compatible with this forum component.

Well, this really interest me too. Google doesn't list my site in any of the search results. However, google bot is almost twenty four hours present in this particular site. And I also noticed that for about 100MB bandwidth has been wasted this way. I've read the inputs from some members, the best way to control the bots are robots. we can implement this even from meta tag without using any other method. Visit once a month may do. I need to see the particular code and insert it in the meta tag. I hope more experts will put more inputs here.

Thanks man. This is good news. My forum buttons are in png format and the transparent part is visible and is annoying because it looks very ugly. I also find that 80-90 percent visitors to my website are still internet explorer users, meaning non-technical persons hardly use any other browsers. Firstly, they are not very familiar with the appearance itself. Change of buttons itself can scare them and make them uncomfortable. Secondly, they are not used to adapt to new things easily like webmasters and other technical persons. This is the problem with common man though. Thirdly, they find that tables break and ugly part of the code can cause so much trouble viewing the sites and they quickly switch to internet explorer which they are familiar with and friendly with. Well, if IE also moves closer to firefox, I hope everyone will use one like firefox only from now on.

It could be when the database of the server is busy or unstable due to overloading of the server.
