  1. It shows how far technology has come, however I would be hesitant to stick a foreign object in my eye.....
  2. Interesting, I got a little thrill out of it . I'm using Word 2002 (or so the About box says) and I got 235 pages of: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog....." How did you find this out? Google? Imagine accidently pressing Print. You could of course turn off the printer or cancel the print job, but imagine if you didn't realise you had clicked it and it was a remote or network printer. Hehe So if I typed =rand(500,4), there would be 500 paragraphs with 4 sentences inside each paragraph of "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog..." Fun It applies to: Microsoft Office Word 2003, Microsoft Office Word 2002 Standard Edition, Microsoft Word 2000 Standard Edition and Microsoft Word 97 Standard Edition . I tried to experiment with this so I typed in =rand(200,99) and then went into Find/Replace then I typed in: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." in the find box and then some Lorem Ipsum in the replace box. I then clicked on Replace All. I walked away for a few seconds because I thought it would take a while, but when I got back the "Sorry Word Encountered an Error" message was displayed, Word had to close So it was too much for poor little Word. Oh well - I tried.
  3. Even if it is true how would it be useful? Whenever you want to see something you would have to poke out your tounge wouldn't you? When you are eating you would see the food in your mouth and that would be a bit yuck.
  4. Sony invented the 3.5-inch floppy disks (according to this Wikipedia article) and they continued to dominate the market until the floppy disc was obsolete. Which proves your statment wrong.
  5. That's very interesting, I think it would be quite expensive though. One would think that it would be something that is genetically modified, but it isn't. It would be cool to have someone share their thoughts with us who had tried the berry .
  6. I love it :lol:I think it's very funny, I especially like the picture of the 3 year old "mowing the lawn". I think everyone should check this video out
  7. There's probably a reason so I'd just like to know why mods have to be 16. Anyway I love the idea behind your site I think it's quite original.
  8. Probably one of the reasons why they require an ISP email address is because the company that they sell all of your personal information to needs to know that you will receive all of the spam they are going to send to your e-mail address .
  9. Sometimes it feels like that, but we always have choices as to what we do, however some situations that a thrown at us are for a reason and then something good comes out of a bad situation, if you get what I mean.I like other people believe sometimes that there is something or someone out there that is throwing things at us, but meh thats just me.
  10. Really it's about competition. The only reason why a new game console comes out after another is because the game console makers think that the console that just came out is better than their previous console. Therfore they want more money so they develop a new one, that more people will buy. The system then repeats really.
  11. I am assuming you are meaning a relationship as in boyfriend/girlfriend type thing. Not at all, relationships can have nothing to do with sex at all, really you are in a relationship because you like that person and they have the same interests as you and you just click and get along. There are other ways of having a physical relationship that have nothing to do with sex, for example hugging, holding hands and kissing, some times these ways of showing affection can be more special to someone than sex.I hope I have been of some help
  12. I sometimes try to put off things as well, really because I know they need to be done and because I can't be stuffed doing them. For example there was a competition I wanted to enter on a website last night. I couldn't be stuffed entering it in the day so I played a computer game until I was about to go to bed then I decided that I better get it done.I think one way of solving it would be setting yourself a goal and then having somekind of self-punishment (like no TV or no computer) if you didn't achieve the goal. You would still need will power though .Hope I have been of some help
  13. Google Video and Youtube aren't merged at the moment, and I personally don't think that it would be good if they merged them though. There are good points and bad points with both of the sites and merging them wouldn't be a good idea. One reason Google hasn't and probably won't merge them is because Youtube was popular how it was before Google bought it, so I don't think Google wants to muck that up.Back on topic: When I went to the link you posted, it didn't say that Norton Antivirus was included in the Pack. Could it be releated to country? I am in New Zealand maybe Googles agreement said something like Norton would only be avaliable to certain places in the world. If it is included, Google Pack is just going to turn into a huge program that includes trial versions of programs, really it's going to turn into something like a CD you would find attached to the front of a computer magazine.
  14. I experimented with this Google Service, although I don't really see how it would help your website, if you let it search for releated sites, isn't it just advertising the competition?
  15. I haven't heard of this phobia before. Looking into the world of phobias is quite interesting, just reading about them and knowing that people are actually scared of certain things. However we shouldn't judge these people, they probably think that we are quite stupid that we don't think that these things are scary.I suppose that it could be the fact that they are a life size version of a soft toy, but there would be many reasons why people could be afraid of them I would think that one common reason would be a bad experience as a child with one.
  16. Why do you think Google wants to scam you? I doubt they ever would because so many people use their companies services and I'm sure if they were going to scam people they would know that one day someone would discover it and expose their company and then they would be shut down. Welcome to Xisto Natureday , it's your own choice weither you post personal information in your posts but I would just like to warn you of the thousands of spam bots you are exposing your e-mail address to posting it unmutilated on a busy forum like Xisto. I would suggest you edit your post and remove your address or change it to something like anna .::at::. natureday .:::dotcom:::.. Once again Welcome to Xisto and I hope you enjoy your time here
  17. Or you could just post your long post in the What Is? forum, get the credits for it, edit your post in the Music forum with a link to the post in the What Is? forum and then get an admin/mod to close the post in the Music forum .
  18. Unlike the olden days male and females are taught to cook in public schools now Which is great because previously males couldn't tell if they had a passion for cooking if they hadn't tried it and now they get the chance to try it .I am also part of the "confused crowd" I don't really understand what you're asking.
  19. It's personal choice. At the moment I don't know but who said beauty was about looks?
  20. My name doesn't really mean anything special. My real name is Matthew - my nick name is Matt, Matt was already taken so I decided on Matt2 just because I could . I find it hard to create unique names so I just stick with my real name whenever possible .
  21. I haven't seen you very much around the community, but feel free to come back for hosting later if you need it . Could we tempt you with the free domain offer?Anyway have fun wherever else you are going and remember to come back and visit us every once in a while :(I went to check out your site but the .co.nr domain doesn't work anymore If you ever see this post again please tell me the URL because I'd really like to check out your site .
  22. I've heard about the offer and I too think that this could cause alot of spam on Xisto. There are alot of spammers on Xisto anyway at the moment and they are being reported and delt with quickly because our members and staff of the forum are so efficient. I believe that alot of members on Xisto do not know how the credit system works, that your post count has nothing to do with how many credits you have - it's about the quality of the posts you make and that before you hosting/domain hosting is approved your posts are checked, so spammers are wasting their time anyway. I like your point about how quality posts might be lost within all of the spam, but we have spam posts at the moment and it's not that much of an issue but I can see the point you have raised. Anyway I think it's a great move by Xisto and Trap's services are getting better and better by the day. I also think that a free domain is a great selling point for people to sign up and start adding to the community. This means that the more popular Trap becomes more features will be added making it a win - win situation for everyone!
  23. Hey,I know some people will be thinking that it's a bit early, but it's April Fools Day today in my country. It's after 12pm, so if anyone trys to play a trick on me they are the fool, right? I'm not really sure how it works. Nobody has/has tried to fool/deceive me today so far.So the point of this topic - have you been fooled? What and who were you fooled by?Please share :lol:Edit: I think my friend tried to fool me today, (but I think it was after 12pm) he said that our local icon was going to be demolished because of "faulty foundations". He might have just been passing the message on though - he might have been fooled himself .
  24. Most of my time on the internet is probably used up by either online gaming (Runescape and Habbo Hotel - I know ), foruming (Runescape Communities, Xisto, Clan type sites), e-mails, instant messaging and improving my website/forum.
  25. The people who voted no in the poll need to wake up. I see no reason why people would consider being homosexual wrong. No, it might not be your cup of tea, but still it's a free world and being homosexual isn't causing any trouble. It's personal choice and if you don't like it then ignore it. Someone above posted that it's against nature. If it was against nature then it wouldn't be happening. Humans make up part of nature. And anyway how can you decide what is nature and what isn't. If these people naturally are homosexual then that is nature. This is sort of like the "What's Normal Debate". We don't know what is normal and what is not - it's personal choice and people can make up their own mind about what's "normal" but they shouldn't decide what is "right" and what is "wrong".
