Customization experience with drupal is very limited for me. And i don't have it installed on my local-server. So i can't help you in that. I don't think it's problem of government. Government only blocks websites(porn and fishy, they have no objection with proxy sites). My earlier ISP let me access to the proxy sites and even opera-tor and torpark worked. This ISP which is very strict with the policies is blocking my proxy softwares. I don't understand what is the problem with opera-tor and tor-park surfing ? Besides, ISP are capable enough to trace from these if they find something fishy. So why not just trust customers and let them have anonymous surfing ? I guess, i got many other good features with this ISP but lost the best feature of anonymous surfing. :/

Tor project works with me. Even if the IP gets banned then i can switch the IP from tor and continue surfing. Recently i switched to new ISP. and tried to use to-opera and torpark. And with both these i unable to connect to internet. I think proxy surfing is not allowed by my ISP. So i decided to change my IP to surf anonymously. Again when i used multiple sites to do this. ISP refused to connect to other sites. Even google can't be opened from tor-opera and tor-park. So i installed no-my-ip software. Which allowed me to change 3 IP address. But again this also failed. and i was once again failed to connect with proxy software. So my observation about proxy surfing is that your ISP needs to let you use proxy software or browsers. My ISP simply refused to do so. Don't know why but this is what my trouble is as of now.

Recently i heard that google and sony had a deal. This deal was about chrome os. With this deal chrome will be shipped with sony vaio. This is good for google as they're likely to generate more revenue with this deal. I think soon, they'll expand this deal. And i think sony vaio maybe the first to ship chrome os. Not sure, but chances are always there that this deal will expand. And as far as i know they're planning deploy cloud computing platform on chrome os. So chrome os will not be suitable for gaming, offline computing etc. It's likely to target heavy internet users, social media users. More into online usage as google earns more revenue with their online business. So this os is likely to be more of internet-only operating system.

Mozilla and Opera do take some RAM. Even Safari takes some amount of RAM on windows machine. If we compare in terms of RAM then Google chrome uses resources wisely. Other than that there are plenty of browsers available which take less amount of memory. Avant- Avant browser takes less memory and is fast at loading web pages. It is free and regularly updated. I'm still stuck on the main interface of the lockerz site. I guess there is something wrong with my browser. As i mentioned previously in many lockerz threads. Site is not loading for me. First login page does appear. But after that when i try and login, my dashboard is not visible. I think this is the problem with either my browser. Bing is such useless search engine can't rely on it for calculation and graph/stat stuff. I've found wolfram alpha and yauba better than bing results. Also cuil looks more with results than bing. Cuil was started by ex-googler people. They do have better indexed data than bing. Yauba is cool and i prefer it for search engines. Wolfram alpha is perfect for you if you're into scientific computing. You get almost everything with it. If you want accuracy then instead of google, try wolfram alpha for accurate maths and conversion or other calculation stuff.

Courier looks good. I mean 7 inch screen and multi-touch is good tablet. Lots of custom software for courier, simply makes me irresistible to get my hands on it. Only thing that was annoying was the two screen feature of the courier. I mean why two separate screens ? Google chrome OS project was started to get into the idea of cloud computing. I don’t think they intended to create OS which is more useful for offline use. I mean what Google did here is tied their services with OS. How? Here is the one way to look at it. They’ll create OS which has all the features of cloud computing. They’ll ask developers and software companies to build services and software for this platform. They’ll earn from it. Plus they’ve their own online services which they’ll tie with chrome os. Even better they’ll create apps which are only used or meant to be used in chrome. This way their business model will be stick with their cloud computing platform and online services.Is it comparable with Microsoft? No, i don’t think so. Microsoft still makes operating system which is usable for both online and offline use. They do plan to have cloud computing services with their new or future released operating system. So comparing Google chrome OS and Microsoft windows is not at equal basis. Both have different user groups targeted. Microsoft wants to target general users which turn out to be all-purpose OS. They can’t even increase price or reduce price because of competition with other operating systems. If they did any move in this price area, they’ll lose customers. Which are already reducing or switching to Mac & Linux cause of instability of windows OS.Google will surely promote new OS without much effort. Many bloggers and os enthusiastic people will try chrome OS at least for few months. So release period of os will fetch them lot of business. Agree. Xisto is almost dead. Until and unless you resurrect old topics (be it month or year old). There seems to be no discussion on forums. I find one day without a single post. When topic gets created it receives good and quick response. But most of the time, there are hardly any new topics and old topics are rarely bumped. And bumped only when people want to earn mycent. Not much activity there these days. Also there is issue of spammers. One spammer is coming with various names and creating spam threads,(you can say this is the activity over there). Though spam topic gets deleted, but they remain on asta for hours. I think it's bad thing for search engine traffic. I'm glad that we've few newbies and knowledgeable people here who create threads and answers as well. Also big thanks to mods who keep Xisto SPAM free. (Don't ask me why about SPAM cause i'm tired of reading Micheal Jackson spam posts on Xisto ) In such cases, you can create threads. Don't care if you get response to it or not. More you'll interact more response you'll get from members. And in time when there are no threads to respond. It is better to create your own thread.
