Alcohol is fine. I drink sometimes with my friends or family members. I've never been drunk before and I don't feel the need to have it everyday so there's less chance of me turning into an alcoholic but when I see people drink or smoke in television or in movies especially when they have unsatisfied or unfulfilled *something in their lives, I totally get it. I mean I know that a stick of cigarette or a drink makes them somehow feel better. I don't understand my post anymore.

Hello there. I've been a member of Trap for a long time now and I always use the file manager in the cpanel to upload my files. I only use an ftp program (SmartFTP) once and now I can't remember what to put in the your server field to connect to Xisto. I've been needing to upload lots of pictures this week and I need to connect through ftp. Can anyone help me please? Notice from cmatcmextra: Added a topic description. Both are important here. Please include both in your next topic

leiaah replied to faith's topic in Web Hosting Support
Hey! Are you using minigal for your website? I'm still using Gallery from the Cpanel and I'm thinking of shifting to a better gallery script. -
Cars Of The Future What will they look like, and be like?
leiaah replied to tuddy's topic in Science and Technology
I don't like the idea of flying cars! I'm hoping that cars of the future would be safer and more economical to use. Also, I hope they don't look too silly like the concept cars that are being designed now, just sleek and clean-looking and nothing spaceship-py -

?page=somethingSo I guess this is what they call a query string?! I've been trying to figure this one out as well. Palladin: I'm guessing ID is a variable that you can easily change the value of? Can I use a link for this one e.g. if I want to do ID=2 can I just do this (see code below)? <a href="?ID=2">switch to new page</a>

Two weeks ago I won first place in a quiz bowl . I represented my department with two others and we won against representatives of other departments. It was during the College of Sci-Tech week celebration. WE would then represent the college during the intramurals this September.

Any Good Image Galleries? Looking for a good image gallery
leiaah replied to faith's topic in Web Hosting Support
I'm using Gallery from the control panel. You can personalize it but it's limited to the background color and text color. Coppermine seems like a good choice because you get to incorporate it in your whole design. I'm thinking also -

People Who Lick Someone's Else Wound What do you think about them?
leiaah replied to The_Angel's topic in Health & Fitness
It's alright I guess if you suck your blood when you cut a finger or something. It's unhygienic but at least it's your blood! But if it's a wound like something really deep and someone licks it for you then there's something seriously wrong with you and your licker! -
How Do You Get Yourself Motivated? ^ title ...
leiaah replied to Lindsay's topic in General Discussion
I think I've always been motivated and driven. I don't really know why but I seem to be competitive in nature. If I'm gonna do something why not try to do good at it - that's sort of my principle. Of course that doesn't mean I'm excelling at things I do because I don't, I mean not usually. I just feel good thinking that I've done something I can be proud of. It doesn't truly matter to me what people think about it, what matters is how that made me feel.So how to get motivated? It would help I think to have a clear attainable goal. That goal should be something you really really want, that way working to achieve that goal would seem like fun and not like work. It's good also to have a timeline or a schedule of things you'll do so that you would actually be *pressured to do whatever you need to do. Hope this helped -
Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines. The longest that I've been away from my place is two months during summer vacations but I'm here 10 months in a year.

If what you need to do is get the values from the 2 textfields and store them in 2 string variables to be used later, then maybe I can help you. It's probably the same as the code in a typical guestbook put this under your body tag in your test.html <form method="post" action="getString.php"> <input type="text" name="t1"> <input type="text" name="t2"> <input type="submit" value="Get String" name="submit"></form> create a file called getString.php This file will get the values of your testfields (from test.html) and then assigns them to your variables (stringT1 and stringT2) and then insert them to the TABLE_NAME in your database. <?php //create short variable names $stringT1 = $HTTP_POST_VARS['t1']; $stringT2 = $HTTP_POST_VARS['t2']; $DOCUMENT_ROOT = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['DOCUMENT_ROOT'];?><html><body><?php @ $db = mysql_pconnect('localhost', 'your user', 'your password'); //Connect to your databaseif (!$db){echo 'Error: Could not connect to database. Please try again later.';exit;}mysql_select_db('database name'); $query = "insert into TABLE_NAME(field1,field2) values ('".$stringT1."', '".$stringT2."')"; $result = mysql_query($query); if ($result) echo 'Success!'; ?></body></html> getString.php inserts or adds the values of the textfields in the database but if you want to use those values to search in the database, all you need to do is replace the sql query with a select statement like this: $query = "Select * in TABLE_NAME where field1=".$stringT1; Hope this helped. Notice from BuffaloHELP: Merged instead of deleting as requested.

It only has an internal memory so I don't think it's that (?). It gets detected in my friend's PC too but only after a reboot. I've checked my device manager and everything seems to be working fine so I don't really know.

I don't quite agree that it is THAT important to man's existence. A hate-free individual is someone who is less stressed and less worried, a hateful individual would have to carry a heavy load all the time and he won't be at peace. I agree that hate can be a good motivating factor but it still depends upon a person. If that person directs all his negative energies into something positive then I guess in a way hate has helped him but if he lets hate consume or eat him alive and it's all he thinks about then that would turn out to be his downfall

Sorry, the unit is Vivitar Vivicam 3545.
-
Hi! I just purchased a digital camera from vivitar and it's one of those pen cameras. I'm running on Windows XP and I've installed the driver already. My problem is that I have to restart my computer first before it detects the camera so when my computer is on and I want to download my pictures I still have to boot my pc so that the camera gets detected. And worse sometimes is still doesn't get detected. I've tried using my friend's PC and it's still the same. What do you think is the problem here, is it a driver problem or a PC problem? I've tried visiting the vivitar website but the model is not in the list anymore. Can anyone help? Thanks

3 things that cause me to fume in anger. 1. This boy who cried because he thought I have a boyfriend. *really shallow. He cried while he talked to me on the phone! He must have thought that I'd pity him if he'd call and cry to me. 2. People who ridicule other people just so their friends can get a laugh at it and they'd seem cool to their friends. Narrow man, narrow! These people are no better than you! Mind your own freakin' business! 3. People who seem to have no ambition. Those who only go to school to keep themselves preoccupied. Those who always have this principle of "This will do even if it's crappy work. What matters is the effort in doing it". I'm not a perfectionist but I want those who have "if I'm doing something, might as well do good in it" attitude.
