Actually it's Valentine's Day here already. No plans tonight except to study for my 4 quizzes tomorrow! My friends and I are not that happy about it but then again I don't have anyone to go out with for a date.Oh and I spent the day in school attending classes and answering two quizzes of subjects I'm not particularly interested in. I didn't even see my crush! Maybe I'll have better luck next year.

Last night as I was rummaging through my old stuff (I was cleaning my messed up room actually) I found my old diary. It was from 5 years ago. I don't usually have diaries mainly because I can't keep up with it but apparently 5 years ago I filled up the entire month of January. Anyways, as I was reading I realized how corny are the things that I wrote then and its silly because it seems as if I had more of a life then compared to now. It's a bit cathartic though to read about what I did in high school with people that I cared for at that time and up to now. I miss my classmates and my family friends. *sigh

when it seems as if studying isn?t working, I usually light up a cigarette and puff away. There?s something very cathartic about smoking. Not only does the smoke get into my lungs more importantly it gets into my head. Somehow it clouds my brain leaving no empty space untouched. One stick and a few minutes later my head is as good as new. Everything sinks in, even my pesky notes in school.well I really don?t smoke. All this talk is pure rubbish. I mean I probably would have if I have the right attitude to match it. Same thing with piercings and tattoos, not that I really intend to get some myself but still it doesn?t seem to compliment and complement me?not unless I regard myself as a struggling musician or an angsty artist. I?m just too goody-goody aren?t I? It?s a scary thought but I think I?m quite content being one. : )cheers everyone!

I super duper love this band right now. They sound really good almost like The Ramones but cooler (only my opinion, peace!). They were Spin magazine's Band of the year in 2002 yet their commercial success can't seem to equal their critical success. If there was no internet I would not have chosen my course (BS in IT). I would not have experienced the kind of satisfaction when you see something that you've created being seen anywhere on earth. I probably would have gone to a lot of libraries if there was no internet and I'm sure I'd have a difficult time searching for things that I need.

I didn't really had any formal lessons on HTML. I only followed tutorials already present in Dreamweaver. I did attend a whole day training at our school and that's when I truly learned bare HTML minus the WYSWYG of Dreamweaver and MSFrontpage. I'm from the Philippinesand like most people here I am Catholic. I went to our school chapel yesterday to have my forehead marked with ash since it was Ash Wednesday. I don't know if I'd intend to fast this time but my family has this tradition of not eating red meats on Fridays. I'm still thinking of what I'd give up doing this Lent, though.

I mainly use the internet for my amusement. Simple things make me happy and I find that surfing through informative and sometimes useless but fun websites make my stay in the world wide web worth while. Oh and also I'm an amatuer web designer/developer and so I try to look at other site's layout and I compare it to mine. I also check my email because I have friends from all over and I don't want to miss out on anything.

In 1999 I used Hotmail because I didn't know Yahoo then (doink!). After I discovered Yahoo, I was pretty much stuck to it. I like it because Yahoo offers more than an email service so its convenient if I feel like searching for something. Plus I think Yahoo has a bigger online community than others. I've never tried GMail before because from what I heard it requires payment (?) I don't know but I like my Yahoo now because I have a bigger mailbox size partly because GMail released a bigger mailbox earlier on its release, right?

I'm from the South of the Philippines, Koronadal City. It's not a very big city and once you live here you sort of wonder why it became a city. It's certainly not big coz you can go anywhere with one tricycle (our version of a taxi) ride. In the future I would like to travel and maybe even live in a different place like in a foreign city (that is if I can afford it) but I'm so attached to this place that it's very likely that I'll retire here.Cheers to all online in Xisto, whereever you are.

I'm 19 and yes, this is my last year being a teenager. I'm a junior IT student at NDMU here in the Philippines. I started doing random web designs in high school but seriously got on to it about 2 years ago. My works then were not really something to be proud of but after learning to use Adobe Photoshop from various tutorials from the web I think I improved I'm trying desperately to learn PHP and MySQL right now and also trying to get hosting from Xisto. So yeah I'm 19.

Since May of last year I've been reading a lot of Maeve Binchy. She's an Irish novelist and short story writer (also a playwright, I think). I've been rummaging through every booksale here in our place to find her books and so far I have 10, some were given, most I bought. The last Binchy book I've read (just a week ago) was The Evening Class. Nothing life-changing but as with every Binchy book, so comforting. I recommend it to any girl and her girl friends.
