Haha balut! When I was young I guess I can tolerate balut but now that I'm older I don't like it anymore. It doesn't taste that bad but some might find that it tastes funny. I like Pinoy/Penoy though. I think it's still duck egg but younger since you can't see the chick yet, only the yellow bit (yolk?). Interesting post.

Hey guys. I'm doing a web-based (running on an intranet) Inventory System for my final requirement in school. I'm looking for a code to autocomplete a form like if I type in a few letters in a textfield, the rest of the word gets displayed already or if I type in a few letters of an item in a drop-down menu (Select), the focus goes to that item. Has anyone done this before or does anyone have the code for this? Thanks very much

I don't think putting google ad sense would help increase traffic in your site. What it does is promote/advertize other websites and not your own. You get money if your site visitors click on the links provided by google. The best way to increase your traffic is by submitting it to search engines (Search Engine Submit is included in your cpanel) or to network with other sites or exchange links with other sites related to yours.

You can use Search Engine Submit to submit your site to Google. In a few weeks your site gets ranked and depending on the description you've entered, your site might even be ranked higher than others. That's what I did. I rank first in both yahoo and Google. Go to your cpanel and find Search Engine Submit and enter the required info there. Hope this helped.

I agree with Spectre. Browsers like Internet Explorer will display a pompt first before closing the window. You should consider those who visit your site and what browser they're using.

hey there! I'm not sure if you can put a form within the form and actually get both of them to work. I think with regards to the form you are making, you can make use of hidden fields to 'keep' values in the form. That way you only use one form and not two. I hope this somehow gave you an idea.

I love Picasa 2! i always use it to edit most of the pictures from my digital camera. It's very simple and it gets the job done quickly. I especially like the fill light function that just magically makes the picture look better. Photoshop loads slower and its just too heavy for quick photo-editing and so I use Picasa. It even organizes my pictures for me.

How about Zend Studio 3.5? I bought a book on PHP last summer and this was advertised at the back. I get an instant $20 rebate by buying the book but buying the software is a bit expensive for me so I haven't tried it. I like Storm a lot ever since the Uncanny X-men TV show was shown in the early 90's. I don't really know, maybe its because she's one of those who really stand out. I went to the dentist last May to have one of my teeth yanked out becuase it wasn't aligned somehow with the rest. Anyways, I went there and I was a bit scared since I haven't had a tooth removed in years. It was a tooth extraction and the tooth that was removed was dug really deep and the dentist, I noticed, was trying desperately to yank it out in a unscrewing-a-screw fashion. I thought for a while she doesn't know what she was doing because she really was sweating and panting but after a few more tweaking the tooth was extracted successfully. whew! I think a university is somewhat higher in degree/level than a college. A college can just be an institution of higher education that grants degrees and it can often be a part of a university. A university has a graduate school for professionals wanting a master's or a doctorate degree. Usually if you're applying for college (higher education) it's harder to get into a university than in a college partly becuase a university has to comply to certain standards. It costs more too. I'm still using Dreamweaver MX mainly for javascripts in behaviors. I still edit most of my pages there and sometimes in Microsoft Frontpage. But nothing still beats Notepad. It's simple and uncluttered so it doesn't sore your eyes. It is my first choice in quick editing html.

You can try visitng websites that offer free VB tutorials. You can save the pages in your hardrive so you don't have to learn while you're online. There are tons of websites that cater to VB starters and I'm sure you'll find something. They might even allow downloads of existing projects with the forms and the source codes.

Your pictures can still be copied even with this script. A visitor only has to click File --> Save As to copy the webpage to his computer. He can then open the folder for that page and the pictures would be there.
