Did you try viewing it as a IE web page. All browsers view sites differently. I use Opera because it is easy to switch how it views sites. On firefox you can also do this by right clicking and going to options (I think that should do it). You should be able to change how it views the page and even how the page views the browser (as in browser redirecting ect). Refresh the page and that should do it. Hope this works, Sparkx PS if you are confused P.M. me and I will check how to do it exactly.

Preferred Forum System So many choices...its overwhelming
sparkx replied to FirefoxRocks's topic in Software
I use Mybb. It in my opinion is the best. I have used Icebb, phpbb, Invision free, SMF, Php-nuke, php evolution, Simple Machines Forum and many others. Sure mybb is reletivly new but it is great and it is free with promosing mods to come. I have even started making mods In which I will add to the database. It is secure unlike phpbb. If not Mybb I would go with Simple Machines as it is the next best thing. It really depends however if you plan to mod the forum yourself, keep it the same or get pre-modded things. You could try and make your own forum with software. I have heard there are tutorials to making a simple one with Fireworks and other programs like that.Hope this helps;Sparkx -
I use Zone lab (Zone alarm) pro. It isn't free but it is the best one in my opinion also. Sometimes however it blocks stuff I don't want it to (games, downloads ect.) but it is easy to fix. I am an individual computer owner and probably have a firewall 100 times better then I need lol. I also have ad-aware SE home (free) which has the fastest scans and great at deleating stuff (if you ever do get a virius on your computer). It is good someone finally made a topic about this firewall. Thanks, Sparkx

Should We Delete The Gaming Forums? A poll on the games forum
sparkx replied to Markymark2's topic in Computer Gaming
I don't post thier much but I don't think you should take it out. It is a good forum. You may need to however start cracking down on people who post one line posts too much and give them a personal warning or a 24 hour ban (that in my opinion is giving them a good warning). It is nice to see the occasional new game and if you deleat it, new members will just start posting there short line posts somewhere else. That is my oppinion. Thanks,Sparkx -
Stop anything from making it ur homepage!
sparkx replied to Thunder1405241469's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Maby that is why firefox keeps coming up with "Your homepage was changed" even when I never changed it? I have adaware and run it regularly. I also have zone alarm and zone labs security firewall. Now I use Opera. It is safer because there are no popups some of which when you accedently click them download stuff you don't want without asking you (this is a major glitch with Internet Explorer 7). Thanks,Sparkx -
Pretty funny. I saw most of them before just the the guy with the wii remote. LMAO some of these people were just coming home from work or collecting milk jugs and now they are known world wide over the internet. I hope I don't do anything stupid or dangorous that get's posted all over lol. People these days will upload anything. Sparkx

I have never heard of Mac mini or nano text editor. I still think that macs are safer simply because they don't have anoying firewalls that take up lots of CPU. Thats the biggest problem with most windows computers and also the fact you can edit the register without knowing what your doing. If someone ever findes a good way to keep windows xp or vista safe without waisting soo much cpu could you p.m. me. I currently use zone alarm on xp. Maby with the new upgrades costing soo much more schools and librarys will switch to the Macantosh Apple OS 10.Thanks, Sparkx

I joined hackthissite.org some time back and finished all the basic challanges and 3 or 4 of the realistic ones. It is kinda boaring after a while. It somewhat teaches you to hack but not other people's systems just servers. And because most thier relistic missions are fairly easy and you rairly have to actually edit the files, this game only teaches the hacking part. I like it how you are always the good guy, saving the kids from getting scamed out of money and respect.

3d Images please need comments about my images
sparkx replied to barkwally's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Real cool! How do you make 3D images? I always woundered. So-far the only way I know is by using cad programs (autocad 2007 and solid works). But you can't make very detailed images unless you have exact measurments. Is thier a free program. I can't download solid works because I can't afford it but my school has it and that is were I used it. -
Sadly to say, In about 3 or 4 years all the schools will have the windows vista and we will be forced to use them. I don't see why most librarys and schools don't start getting macs. They are a lot safer and you can't mess them up since most files relating to the system can't be opened with a word pad (unlike windows). The OS 10 is probably a better thing to get then the vista because you don't need to upgrade your hardware. The vista uses too much memory also. If it where smaller, I would probably get it.Thanks,Sparkx

World's Smallest Website the smallest in the word
sparkx replied to iGuest's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Really? *zooms in* I guess they wanted to save on bandwidth or something. It is too small for me to read lol. I don't think the makers wanted people to find the hidden content of this site. Or maby they thought it was funny to put a .swf file such a small width. If you go to view scourse and to the <embed tag> you can view it full screen (at least on firefox or opera I am not sure about Internet Explorer 6 or 7). Pretty cool,Sparkx -
I use this function a lot mainly for roll-over effects as it is easyer then uploading a .swf (Macromedia flash 8 file). You could use it for text but its cooler if its images. There are examples everywhere. Ever been to a website with buttons that glow when your mouse is over them? That what it is. I think everyone should lean this command because it can be added on-to to make some pretty cool effects. Thanks, Sparkx

I didn't find it hard to get accepted. It took maby 75 minutes to get 30 Host Credits (without spamming) and a week for me to get accepted. You just got to be active (as you obviosly are as you have 60 posts). I don't know why you weren't accepted yet. I don't know what you should do as by asking a mod you may seem a little pushy. I think they may understand as you have been waiting for a while. They simply want to provide a web host for people that don't plan to be active in anything. They wan't to meet the needs of everyone and therefore added an account type that takes no posts but has less space and ads. Everyone is happy since they don't half to post and Xisto gets money from the advertisements. Nothing in life is 100% free. You don't need to be smart at all to post here. Xisto is also a good place to get answers to questions if you need help. Sorry if you got the idea that Trap 17 is a bad place. Thanks for reading, Sparkx

Ill try making one... Or I could make it so that after they have clicked the ads 4-5 in 2 hours I could make it so the ads simply won't load (saving me bandwidth and following there tos as long as I don't have Cost Per Inpression). I guess you're right. Google is making free money why would they scam you. If they were smart they would automaticly build in a script that checks the IP (and runs a program like you discribed). Thanks for the help,Sparkx

Telescopes May Be Our New Artist Paintbrushes
sparkx replied to mtnbluet's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Thats cool lol. That picture is awsome! It looks like someone panted it lol. That infrared space-based observatory is must be pretty powerful to get such a clear image of the nebula. It is an infrared image. The real (visible light) image is probably very dark and just like the rest of space around it. -
Slavehack An Online Hacker pwnage game
sparkx replied to SilverFox1405241541's topic in Computer Gaming
So it is a game to teach hacking but the whole thing is made up? It sounds like a very complex game lol. I have never heard of it before. So its a MMORPG game or is it just you vs the computer? If it is an MMORPG can you get hacked also or can you get stuff to stop people from hacking you? I am intrested in this game and might join... I will tell you if I do.Thanks, Sparkx -
I am always online (or it seams). Saddly to say I am very addicted to the internet and it is probably un-healthy. I often joke myself into thinking that I am ok by spending 1.5 hours a day wait-lifting, going biking every weekend and camping lots durring the summer. I have a job but it doesn't take that much time up as I still go to school. But it seams like whenever I am home I am watching the tv, sleeping or here online. Now I'm not addicted to games as much as some people. I like programming lots and often find myself waisting 1 or 2 hours a day just sitting typing up programs. I also got onto irc and teamspeak to talk to people but that is not as often. I am active and 3 or 4 forums. I think I spend my time only somewhat effectivly but I sometimes find myself in a pointless conversasion with someone or making a program that noone would ever need. This is an inprovement over a few years ago when I got addicted to RuneScape MMORPG, Navy Field and many other online games. I would spend loads of time leveling up a charictor until one day (when my friend got hacked) I realized that it was all pointless and its never too early to quit a game (im not a quiter but I do think these games are bad). I strongly suggest not getting into MMORPG's they are fun but they are very addicting. Everyone (when they start) never really use there time well. If you wan't to learn to use the internet wisely just remember if it is taking out of your real life it is not worth it. If you get real addicted like me you could turn it into a way to make money by learning scripting then when you get good selling it. Thanks, Sparkx

Hey congrats you lasted a week on an untested microsoft program I don't know how to fix the problems other then calling tech help or posting on Microsofts forums and emailing them (unless your computer is too glitchy to do that). Windows XP SP2 has that error on it also sometimes. They set it up so when you close a window, it moves the windows left slowly but sometimes glitchs if you have a real fragmented computer. Do you have XP and Vista on the same computer? Maby thats why? Don't use IE explorer unless you really need to. It is one of the worst explorers in my opinion. Hope this helps, Sparkx

Do I really need a cell phone? Do homephones work? I don't like telling people my cellphone number because I don't want to be added to a telemarketer list. I also don't have texting on my cellphone anyway so I don't think I can join. I will look at the thread about what people think about it in a moment. If people like it I may just get it using my friends cellphone (unless thats against there TOS). Thanks for the help Sparkx

That is soo cool! Thanks! Now this is by far the best hosting place on the web I was worried about it when I recieved an email warning me about my space. I think I got the update just today but I may be wrong. Turns out I have accently saved 7 backups of my site and still had lost of room lol. Could someone please make a 88 x 31 pixels image or userbar about this? I want to tell all my friends by putting it into my sig on all the forums I post on. That 10000 MB bandwidth is just what I was hoping for. I would donate but I don't like putting my credit card number onto the web.

I have Microsoft Office Live and think it is the worst thing in the world. Is there a way to point to my Xisto without having to put a redirecting script (as you can't use HTML in Microsoft Office Live)? I suggest that noone get it. Sure it is free but it has poor support, not codeing access what so ever and is very simple for people that have never used HTML before. If you have the same problem but found a way to put frames or page redirection on Microsoft Office Live could you please tell me? That would be really cool.Thank you,Sparkx

How could they loos rights to it? Are they selling them or did someone have them first? I use Yahoo and haven't had any problems yet. I don't like how the website is getting to have larger programs but it gets the job done. Do you think you will loose your account? I thought Gmail was still only a beta? I have heard that AOL has a free your_name@your_name.com email account. Maby you could look into that if Gmail looses there rights? Googlemail.com isn't all that bad. Its just a little longer. If you like there mail set up you should stick with it I was thinking about trying it but I never got invited and didn't really want to try too hard to get someone to invite me.Thanks, Sparkx

1. Invest - I do that with stock but I'm no millionaire (yet at least)2. Become a political Figure - Ya but you loose all of the poeple that respect you3. Run a rich company - It is risky as good companies take lost of work to make. Better off inveting in a rich comany. Who knows if you buy enough stock you run part of it.4. Work with the Mafia - True, they are the best way to make money but very risking. One mess up and you and your family are dead ;)5.Capture a robber/cirminal Mastermind - Or become one lol ;)6. collect fruad donations for doing charity things - Now that is just messed up. Don't even think about doing this unless you have no conscience.7. Work for a famous buisnessman - Like Bloomberge lol. He will make you millions if you know how to help him.8. Rob a bank - Or a Cassino, Now your on the most wanted. I guess the topic is how to make a million not how to make it in a trusted way. Now you won't be able to spend it eather because eveyone knows who you are and what you did.9. Steal Jewlery - Same as #810. Lead Information to Osuma Bin Laden's Location ( Information gets u 25 million WOOT WOOT). How much information? His location or where he is planning to attack next?
