Thanks, I think it was my firewall it appears to be back up and working. That or it was a power out that I had a few days ago. I went threw my firewall and allowed all content by Xisto. Maby my firewall is to good for personal use (I do have realitivly safe browing habits lol). Thanks again for the help

I was going to get google adsence but many people ranked it so now Im all confused. I was reading all the "tutorials" about getting ads and they all are confusing. What would be the best way for me to make money? Is google ads all that bad? Do other big componies have ads also (yahoo ect). I also don't know what would work best for my site (CPC ect). OK I don't know if this is the right place for this so could the mods move it the the correct place? Thanks. Whenever I try to access my website or log onto the control pannel I get the following error message: It says contact support team (I assume thats you). Is anyone else having this error or is it my computer? I have checked all my connections but I just got a new firewall (Zone Alarm Pro) which may block it. I looked it doesn't appear to be blocking any Xisto sites. I also just recently cleared my cookies, could this mess it up also? Does anyone have a suggestion? I did a simple task of combining two sql databases into one and now everywere on my site (even the parts that don't use the php my admin) is messed up. I always woundered why microsoft has all the warnings about "Never edit or register". I guess you could do all this work just to have your computer shut down faster. What I do is: 1. Close all open windows 2. Close all the tasks (in bottom right hand corner not in the task manager) 3. Press turn off computer. If this takes to long odds are your hardrive is fragmented. This is easy to solve but can take most of a day to finish (luckly for you, you only need to set it up then wait). To do this simply start you computer up in safe mode. Do this by restarting you computer and pressing F8 (or the hotkey listed). Then go to local disk and safe mode (if it doesn't work try again). Now open up control panel (start-->control panel) and go to administrator settings (or tools). Click computer managment and disk defragment. Now you wait (can take up to 12 hours). It will annaliys your hardrive, the red is bad, the green is unmovable and the blue is good. Once your finished you computer will all go faster and have less errors. I hope this helps, Sparkx

Lol I agree with you. Expanding the community is the hardest part. For me, my website is greate but I don't have any forum perticipation lol. I am going to try making multiple accounts and starting topics (as suggested). It seems like a good idea but it is kinda risky. Takes time to log in and out lol. Any suggestions to what I should call these accounts (regular names) or just numbers so that it doesn't take a real person's user name? Also wouldn't it look funny for me to be going back and forth asking questions? Im going to try it and hope I get people on my site lol.

The vista isn't out yet so I really don't know. In my opinion it is going to be anouther windows xp, starts out with many errors and open to viriuses. I love apple computers and for windows vista to match up with the new apple, the microsoft owners (Bill Gates) are going to have to do something big. The vista is going to be like a powerful XP. Nothing new. I could compair the diffrances to the xbox and the xbox 360 (not to much exept more powerful) I would like to see more changes like the nintindo wii, stuff that will actually be a BIG diffrance not just small upgrades. I suggest you wait until next year to get the vista and see the reviews. You pobably shouldn't get it in Janurary 2007 just because of the risk that the vista is just a windows xp sp3 lol. It looks very good. I like the template you used lol. Very good. I never used a template on any of my sites so I don't know how to rate a site that has used one. I think it is a very good site for a first site. Ill tell you the truth, it looks better then my first site. I also don't know much about world of warcraft or of the other tutorial sites to it's kinda hard to compair your site. Wow this must have took long! I really didn't read it all to tell you the truth. Im not sure if they got there facts right, but I just saw on the news that a study has showed that human's can smell as well as dogs can. It says that the age old saying "Dogs have great noses" may be incorrect and humans can smell well we just need to be close to the ground. Is this correct? I was trying to get a good browser that supported both my programs and my alignment for my website. I downloaded ALL of the big ones. Opera, IE explorer 7, Firefox, netscape and msn (lol I wasn't getting lucky). Though I havent gone in debth I have rated them as follows:First: Opera Opera has some features none of the rest have including mouse actions. It support both IE explorer made pages and Firefox made ones. Its easy to switch just by going to the options pannel. The theme is easy to change but the toolbar isn't quite what you would get from firefox.Secound: NetscapeJust like firefox exept a really good anti-virius set-up. Netscape is good if you work for a company that can't get any type of virius. It has good themes and if you like firefox its easy to switch without learning new hotkeys. Third: FirefoxFirefox is a great browser. It has a fully custumizeable tool bar and has good features. If you like your browser to be exactly the way you want it to be firefox is for you! Though not as good as Netscape some people don't like having all that extra anti-virius stuff that slows you down.Forth: MSNThis browser is ok just has some major problems. Hardly custumizable (or it is hard to and I have not found out how to). The webpage only takes up 3/4 of the screen (the rest is toolbar). It does however support many scripts. If you don't mind a small screen MSN might be right for you.Last: IE explorer 7I strongly suggest you not get this browser. If you have it switch to anouther. It has many errors like a broken tabbed browser and random exiting out. The menu bar is somewhat costumizeable. A plus is IE explorer does run many of the programs that firefox and netscape can't run. If you really don't mind many bugs and popups you may want to try IE explorer.This is all of them (at least that work on windows) I havn't put mac ones in yet because I don't have a mac. I think for macs suffary is good. I hope this helped you and didn't make you just more confused. If you like your current browser just stick with it don't download a new. I like ripway (i don't think it's listed). Though Xisto is by far the best, In my book, its not really free. To me free meens "without charge of any type" (I'm not saying it shouldn't advertise it as being free) I just don't think you can rate web-hosting if some you have to participate in and some are free do nothing to join. I was thinking about throwing some php together and making a generator for people (like you) that don't really have the time to. I know how you feel. You don't want to learn all the graphics and stuff you just want a template type thing. Though I personally haven't made a generator for this type of thing yet, yahoo offers a fairly good way to make websites. Just go to Geo cities and click templates. Find one that fits you and fill in your website details. Now, go to your yahoo website and press ctrl + u (or apple + u if your on a mac). A new page "view source" page should open. Press Ctrl + A (everything should be highlighted) press Ctrl + C (this copys it). Open up a new document in Xisto and press Ctrl + V (everything should be pasted). That's it! You have your easly made website right at Xisto (with no ads where as geocities has ads).Note: You may have to edit a little of the code that has ads in it if you don't want them (all it is, is deleting code, not adding it). Personally I think its just a fad... First, pong (and other games pacman, asteroids ext), great games, spend an hour or so playing it the first time then play it 10 minutes a day after that. Then it was RPG games like Mario and you would play it till you beat the game then probably never play it again. Then they made platform games, Higher speed and fast but not 3D like earlier games. Just fun for some reason? They it was racing game, Very fun 3D fast and addicting. Now its violent games, Lots of violence (steeling, killing ext) Addicting to some, but not to others. Judging from the past violent games should stop soon... Whats next though? Will it really be better? Or will it be a mix of all the games (a 2nd real world type thing) You have to raise up money. Go to places (arcades vacations houses ext). All this fully interactive in some sort of a game suit as a controller. If this is what they do next... is it really better. It will probably save some kids but it will also make kids forget about real life and the problems we face outside the gaming world. Kinda scary isn't it?Also, If we stop making violent games now kids will probably become MORE violent not being able to take out there (already built up from games) anger on the system and start doing it in real life. It depends... What do you want in your webpage? Frames- Recomended when you are using the same content over and over again (example: user links and copyright). Also usefull if you would like to navigate to anouther page or if you want some content to stay on the "top" of the page. To do this simply add scrolling="faulse" to your <frameset> tag. Many more advanced pages use frames Forms- aka tables are good if you change your likes for every page, if you want a hit counter on each page and if you want to make it easy for someone to add a bookmark directly to a page on your site. If you use tables hoever you may have to edit multiple things for each page (example: Table row or col) This can be hard if your pages have lots of content. I strongly suggest Frames for longer pages but for small personal websites Forms (table) will work fine I hope this helps. As you may or may not know I am very aware of how you can get in trouble for hacking. As far as I know its not illegal to hack game of any type so long as it is not to steel someones identity, credit card number or money. Mozilla Firefox 2 is better! Its way faster, has less errors and is fully costimizable. I suggest you download Mozilla Firefox 2 and Google toolbar. This gives you a small but powerful control panel (unlike Internet Explorer 7 which with all the useful controls can take up half the page. Also I have experienced the following errors with Internet Explorer: -No pages (page cannot be found on all pages, with full Internet connections and no restrictions from an antivirus) -Crashing on new tab (no matter how hard I tried, after the first week, I started getting a program closing message. "Internet Explorer 7 has has some errors and had to shut down") -Crashing on start up (After a while of the no new tab I started getting the same message when I opened the program... It did mention something about a dynamically loaded library .dll file but it looked fine) So far I have not received any errors from firefox 2 and I strongly suggest you get this great explorer! Are you sure this is legal? It seems like a scam. Unless you have to sign up and pay money I don't see how it can be free? Nothing is free. I don't know any idea why Microsoft even has a red screen of death (RSOD) or blue screen of death (BSOD)? It sounds kinda like another useless program for them to sell? Do these "screens of death" appear when you get hacked or what? Is it the default background? I don't think its smart to use the color red since its been proven to cause people to become angry. I forget were I herd that from but its true. The color green makes people feel happy (after looking at my green poster) laugh out loudSparkx.
