My team, Liverpool, got through to the knock-out stage as well. We will play Bayer Leverkusen next. That is quite a good draw for us as we only finsihed second in the group stage and everyone thought we would have to face the likes of Milan, Juve and Inter. So i think we should get through to the next round, if we can play at home like what we usually do.I would say there will be an Italian tema in the final. possibly Juve. And the other team is...ermm.. Chelski maybe.

Best Date What is the best date you ever had?
Peaktao replied to dizilluziondmasokist's topic in General Discussion
haha. Your story is nice. I guess my best date isss....when Peak and I celebrated our first valentine's together. We were away on holiday and we were in 2 separate rooms. Because it was valentine's, most restaurants were booked and it was expensive. So Peak and I decided to celebrate in my room, although we dressed up properly and made it like we were really eating out somewhere. haha. :rolleyes:It was actually a while ago as now we have been together for more than 3 years! -
Yeahhh..heard of it. My mom told me about it.She met my dad at university. They were doing the same subject but my dad was slightly older. So my mom started dating him when she was 18.Oh...and she said my dad always wear his best shirt out for their dates. The shirt with picture of ants! Oh, actually, my dad told me he was popular when he was at uni!

oh dear!I mean I think there's nothing wrong with gay...But there's something rather disgusting about spreading rumours.I think he should respect other people's privacy.if you are not close enough to him, maybe just sty away because this kind of people can spread everyone's news...and you don't wanna be one of them.

How Often Does Music Make You Go Broke? Music in love
Peaktao replied to kvarnerexpress's topic in Art & Creativity
Quite often actually!Sometimes I feel like listening to lots of music....like when I walk to uni etc.But not only that, we also spend on concerts and we see quite a few of musicals. :rolleyes:Also, of course, we pay for choir/orchestra memberships and music lessons! They are all very expensive, aren't they? -
Hey Cheer up! I think the questions were difficult. But maybe you could go and interview people working in the career which you are interested in. Ask them what their working routine is like and what do they do. Internship, and training contract could also help. Good luck and relax (will help you get some ideas)!

I totally hated my primary school. I just think I wasted 6 years there and it's the worst perio of time in my life. Totally lost all my motivation to learn and everything. Money and beauty were the most important thing for kids there. And it's like you couldn't go anywhere without them. Anyway, luckily, I moved when I was 12. I absolutely loved my secondary school. It allowed me to reach my potential. Happy life. Teachers were great!

ewwwww..I don't know. I guess although eerybody can be in love and everybody has the right to have sex and choose who they would have sex with, I think this is inappropriate. In fact, I have known a disgusting person (student 18) who slept with a married male teacher at school. Totally immoral.

I think, the first think I thought of when I saw the question was coffee. It's like...I don't really like coffee and I don't go around to try the best coffee. But, somehow, when I need to work, when i need to go to school/uni, I need to drink it. :rolleyes:Now, come to think carefully about it, I'm addicted to the internet even more.haha.

Well, i think it's actually the first game of its own kind. After that there are a lot of other games similar to it, but Age of Empire remains the most classic one. Advancing from dark age to feudal age and so on and so on. i still play it sometimes. And of course the online feature was great. ;-)will find my CD somewhere and install it again.

I haven't played the Total War series since the first one (the Shogun one). This is because i idn't like the first one that much. the graphich was okay and the game was kind of repetitive. Also their was a real lack in non-battle strategy. Diplomacy gameplay was shallow and unnecessary. I've read a review of this new ROME: Total War. Might give it a try.

Same my laptop is too rubbish even though it's brand new! Well, i guess it's a laptop, not a pc, so the graphic card is not good enough. ( that's where i think the problem lies anyway). My girlfriend is rather disappionted as she really wanted to design a house with me. (I'm sure if we happened to play, we would have had a lot of arguments.)

I was thinking of playing the Madden series but i have never actually bought any of them. It costs a lot and i'm not that big fan of American football anyway. Sometimes i don't even understand the rules! But hte graphic looks nice though ( i always wonder how you can control an american football player in the game as they have to work as a team all the time)

nope but very nearly. I don't know i thought it was quite easy all the way through until the very last bit. I had 4 races left before i stopped as i couldn't get pass it. My mates tried too and we spent hours without any success. maybe we need something to slow the computer down to help! anyone else beat it yet?

Best PPC option Which is the best Pay-per-Click option?
Peaktao replied to googlue's topic in Online Advertising
Hate google ads. i think it's very strict interm of keywords that you can use. Also they check your ads quite regularly and if you don't comply with all the RULES they laid down your ads is inactivated (and you have to pay to reacticate it if it continues to happen three times.their percentage count is mean too! -
Actually, at my university, they ban us from having a job during the term time, unless we work for our own colleges. So I work in my college library as an invigilator. That's quite a nice job as you are even allowed to do your own work during the shift. Also it's a good chance to meet new people (although people sometimes look so stressed!)

Exotic Food In Your Country something you want westerners to try :)
Peaktao replied to serverph's topic in General Discussion
I think the most famous Thai dish is Tom-yum-kung.That's a spicy prawn soup! And it's not that difficult to make too. For those of you in foreign countries, there is instant ingredients. You can simply add prawns and water, although of course, that won't be as good as the original one. I'd like to tell you more about how to make it, but I don't know the English names of all the herbs!! Try it out anyway! -
Would like to express my deep sympathy for the victims of Asian quakes. It's absolutely terrible. I'm originally from Thailand and we have lost one of the King's grandson who had been working a lot for charity. Now all my friends in Bangkok (which was not flooded) are working as volunteers (translators) to help tourists at th help centre in one of the Bkk universities. My family all have donated money or blood. In fact, we are short of RH- (which is in great need for tourists but only 1 in 1000 of Thais has it.)

England will! haha. We haven't won it for a long time so it's due!Beside by the time the world cup starts our players will be in their prime. Players such as Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney are no less than sensational!!Also... it's in Germany! How nice would it be for England to win in the German soil!!! ;-)

Has anyone played FM 2005? What is your experience about it? My boyfriend is totally obsessed with CM 03-04 version. And guess what? Now I'm beginning to like it a lot too. Thinking of buying for his birthday, so we can play together (as in competing of course). BTW, Is arsenal overrated in the game? ;-)
