Ok thanks all for your helps. I really appreciate it. I know some embedded music can be annoying sometimes, but i'll try it first anyway. Thanks again!

I paintball too, but only occasionally. So i don't own any guns or anything i'll find a group of friends and take a coach to a paintball place. Use their guns and there you go.I must admit that paintballs costs quite a bit for a student like me though.:-)

For me, i prefer Nike... I know they are more expensive in general, but i think they fit me better (i only talk about shoes here as these are the only things bought from either nike or adidas). Nike shoes seems to fit my feet better and somehow i prefer their design to other brands like reebok or adidas. However for a football boot, i chose adidas. Not because i like to be like beckham or anything. Again Adidas football boot fit me better. (I found nike air boot extremely narrow and are very hard to balance myself on).well...just my two cents.

Who Is The Hottest Girl In The World? Hottest girl ever?
Peaktao replied to nosoup4u's topic in General Discussion
My number one is Kristin Kreuk!!! -
yep..it's by far the best football game... far better than FIFA 2005 or even 2006 or 2007 lol. FIFA series needs to shake up their game play significantly to match PES. Although they have an edge in having licenses, the gamers aren't gonna care that much if the game play is still unrealistic....

Nicely said.... Too Hot... Forgot to mention that i'm a Reds fan. Deeply inside i really think we should have won the New Year Game at home or at the very least a draw. (certainly i'm bitter with Riley's decision not to award that blatant handball)Hope it's a revenge.I think chelsea is not gonna get caught iin the league now. well... for once in 50 odd years they came up too good for the rest.

I'm not a very big fan of american football myself, but i've been watching it since i was 10. This season i've just watch a few games because of the time difference. Again i think the Pats is the team to beat. Brady and belichick combination is arguably one of the best of all time. On the other hand, McNabb's form has been good and they finally won the conference final. Must be quite a game to watch. (no Janet's oops this time though...lol)well, who you think will win? and by how many pointsI'll go for Pats by about 7-10 points.

Well here comes the first trophy in English football. Yesterday chelsea edged out ManUtd to line up against Liverpool in the final. After a few years in wilderness, the League cup have been given priority by some big clubs at last. Liverpool' much work have been done by the youngsters who have been given chances to impress while chelsea's squad strength means they always have the best team on the paper in every round. Now it's the final... will injury-rocked Liverpool manage a win against the multi-million chelski at last or will it be Joe Cole to come off the bench and deliver the sucker punch again? You decide...

It's got to be cricket i suppose. I was forced to play this game when i was in a boarding school. For all of you who don't know what it is, well...you may not ant to learn the rules anyway as they are way too complicated. Also it's a kind of game that last 4-5 days or so, and you can still get a draw if it rains on the last day...lol.and sometimes you played for a whole day and only touches the ball once or twice.well, i managed to play through my school career but i still hate it. i watch it sometimes on the Tv but that's only because everyone in my dorm watch it and there's nothing else to do.

I don't know about the website. But I would suggest that maybe you should try and do it yourself because I found A-level coursework really useful for university. I used to hate history, and I was an extremely slow reader. But once I completed my history coursework, I realised my reading skill has improved...And these skills of discussing and researching are vital to university. Now I'm glad I have done the hard work for my coursework. Not only that I got good marks to really be proud of (coz it's what I did myself), but also it helps a lot at uni.Maybe just try to do one. I think you'll not regret it when it comes to uni.

Good job Dodger! I think you cope well with everything which happens to you.I know how you feel. I would feel the same if I were in your situation actually.I would probably not tell her to have a good day. I Think you are good to be able to look calm and control your anger/annoyance. I probably couldn't. haha..Yeah..actaully I really hate those people. How old was the son?Did he not tell the mother what happened? What about witnesses around there?

Interesting!I think....Jushua was right in the sense that in the end, the ultimate goal would be 'no discrimination' at all. However, I think this is quite a sensitive issue. I think they might just have thought of place as being....a party, where same people go and see each other every day (rather than a pub)And I think it does happen. For example, sports club (or fitness).....you need to be a member before you can enter. Or library, you need to be the member of the university/school to enter. Or in the kitchen of a restuarant, you'll have to work there to gain acces. Or to go into movie studio, you'll have to get a special pass or be a member. And to be a member, you will have to comply with their rules/conditions...So in this case, it is just like..they introduce some kinda conditions before you can enter. It just happens to be a non-familiar one. It's like...if you own a property, one of those rights you possess is the right to exclude others. You can invite people into your place and you can refuse to let someone in. So in a sense, it does make sense actually. (just the condition which they introduced was not a common one)

haha interesting conversation here about Wales.Well, basically, the United Kingdom (UK) is divided into 4 parts1. England2. Wales3. Scotland4. Northern Ireland. So England and Wales are part of the UK. Wales is in the west of the UK.But Wales is not in England. I'm studying at Oxford, UK. (Tao)Peak is at Bristol, UK, although he's now on exchange to Denmark.

Yeah...I would say I prefer live music. I know that it's probably not as perfect as the electronic one. But it's live. It's professional. The thing is music has turned to be quite electronic, I feel.I have done some recording in a studio....and have observed some being done. It's like there's nothing real in there. Even the singing can be changed completely. They can put vibrato (even when the singer can't do it) by just telling the computer to do it. Or if anyone goes out of tune, just moving their mouse ,the controller can tune on the computer. So singers don't even have to be good. Or.....alternatively, you can sing one sentence. Then have a break, and sing another one sentence and have a break. Soo...it's just not real when we come to know what's behind it. (so I would say I prefer live music)

Best Date What is the best date you ever had?
Peaktao replied to dizilluziondmasokist's topic in General Discussion
haha...nice stories.Tao has talked about her best date...So now it's my (peak's) turn.I think what I like best is....three years ago (when I had been with Tao for about 6 months)...Our school organised House Dance. So I invited Tao. And the concept of the costume was 'whatever turns you on'. I was actaully tempted to dress as Tao. haha.Well, the music was good and we had great fun. It's the first time Tao came to see my school and met all my friends. So that's cool. I think that's the first party we went together.Peak -
Ah well, I took driving lessons and the license test with my Honda CRV.And usually, I just drive that when I'm at home. Since I'm not living at home now, so my sister has just taken over.Anyway, now studying in Oxford, I don't have a car (because we don't really need one)....so...I just go everywhere with my bike!

well, I don't really go to the cinema that often. But I do rent DVDs to watch. Actually during chirstmas break, I watched soo many films including two weeks notice, I'm Sam, Bend it like Beckham, Meet Joe Black, Fifty first date, how to lose a guy in ten days. Having said that, I'm planning to go and see phantom of the opera!

I'm doing law (undergrad)...and I enjoy it.So I'm gonna pursue a law career. I also prefer public law to private law soo...I think I'll either work for the ministry of foreign affairs, or become a professor. p.s I disagree with iwuvcookies. In fact, Asia is a big word. It ranges from Japan or Singapore or Thailand to India, or Afganistan. So that's a bit of a generalisation. In fact, if you have been to enough countries in Asia, you'll realise that their living condition is no difference from anywhere else. There's always social divide, but that's true in almost every country in the world.

Thanks so much.I'll try again tonight and see what it's like, then let you know (if I still can't work it out).

Hi. I have posted to ask about Sim2 before then it was about the graphic card. Now I have a new problem. Basically, I successfully installed and loaded the game. When I tried for the first time, I came to the page with one option which is something like "creating the neighbourhood" Because it seems to be the only option available, then I clicked on it. On the next page, I couldn't do anything. There's no option or anything. What do you think my problem is? Do you know what I have to do?Thank you very muchhh...

Hey, I was told about my parents' love stories or stories about their ex-lovers...when I was about 18. But I think my mom told me because she wanted me to look in a wider perspective. As in, it's not like I was just curious to know or my mom was really enthusiastic to let me know. It's just a way of giving constructive advice, I think.

Sad News For Asia Tsunami or Tidal Waves and Earthquake
Peaktao replied to ashiezai's topic in General Discussion
Yeah..IT's just very shocking.I studyin the UK, but am originally from Bkk.Bangkok was not directly hit, although now most of my family menbers and friends are involved in some kind of charity work to help those affected. That day was not national/public holiday. (the long holiday started on 31st of December). So my friends were still at uni and so noone went away...That's why in my country, foreigners and local traders are the worst affected. As for warnings, I think they didn't have it mainly because Thailand has never been affected by any earthquakes, or anything of this kind. And anything of this magnitude only happens once in 500 years...noone really foresaw. It was just completely out of contemplation. However, there were news that the Tsunamis/earthquake centre in Alska detected the quakes, and the possibility of Tsunamis, but they didn't warn any of the countries. Accordin to their officer "unfortunately, we have no contact of any body in the affected area!" (rightttttt..) -
Hey..I used to have history-phobia when I did my A-level. I just didn't understand anything in class or in books. But ,luckily,I eventually got throough it, i think. As for life, I'm afraid of anything that flaps....birds, butterflies, hens and etc.(although I love eating chicken wings!) :rolleyes:Also I think I'm scared of height!

I'm not going onto the career involving webdesign or anything. But I find it very interesting. Peak and I just started creating our own website. As we enjoy writing stories, I think having our own website is a very good thing. It's like .....everything is ours..And we can just choose what we like to do to the web, like choosing the background/the atmosphere of the site, and what to put on it.
