  1. If you have to end it, you have to end it. Relationships only work with two people. The best advice I can give you on coping with a breakup is much icecream and chocolate and things that cheer you up... go out with some close friends... Don't lock your self away from the world. Stay social. It worked for me... then after eating the icecream I got very selfconsious and insecure about my body... which I had no reason to because I'm quite fit really... which lead to depression and went in a downward spiral which I've only really just got out of. I was once with this girl... a girl. One of the only girls I'd really liked (I'm a bisexual guy... well, Bi but more inclined to go for guys... still Bi though.). Basically, for reasons it went long distance... it then pretty much ended. Neither of us used the phone much, especially her... we were quite shy really, but when we were physically together we were fine. It was great until it ended. And it hit me hard, even though I was the one who ended it... I just can't come to think how she dealt with it... she's quite a fragile person. I should really ring her some day. Sorry... this is your topic lol. Just wanted to share my story. Anyway, as I said: Do things that cheer you up, and stay social... otherwise you'll stay at home for ages and no one will see you, which can be rather bad for friendships... Then again, if they're good friends they'll understand. Put on a brave face and try to stay happy.
  2. I think you're slightly deluded babe. Not everyone is in it for the love. I mean, if I can find a guy I love and be in a happy relationship then great! Just show me the guy now! Sad fact is, you don't always find someone you love that quick, and I know that most of the relationships I'm in are purely sexual... I'm also in it for the money. If I can get both sexual pleasure and money... well, money spent on me, then I'm happy. I'm in it for the money and the sex... tut tut tut, bad me. So sue me! Although you can be in a relationship where it's 'cos you love each other and you don't care about the money... it doesn't always happen. Anyway, I hope you find the right girl, or boy, for you.
  3. Wow, very nice... the first and second are very pretty. As for the third, I have the perfect caption for that "Wow, that's a big one!". You can take that to mean whatever you want... Keep up the good work!
  4. I wanted the PS3, simply 'cos it's so powerful and it's a Sony product-- Sony being a brand I trust. But the Wii is starting to look good. I saw this one TV advertisment where they display a shooting game in which you aim and shoot using that tv-remote-lookalike-thing, shooting with the trigger on it of course. And you can throw grenades by whipping that thing foward. There was another where you can really dynamically control a sword in a swordfight with one control, and with the other move... By dynamically I mean that you can move the sword like 360 Degrees, and slash etc. But I'll still probably get the PS3... gotta love it. In White. Or Black. Just not Silver.
  5. I really dislike the 3rd one, no offense. I like the 1st and 2nd ones but think the best would be number 1 without the top border. Just my opinion. Mkay? I do love the first design though ^-^
  6. I say I'm Bi, not just for some normalcy, but because I may be unsure about my sexuality, but I know I'm not totally gay because I still find girls attractive... and do have some sexual incidences with those of the opposite sex. JasperIK said at 13, do I even know myself? I really don't know... I don't think I'll ever know myself. I'm sorta "disconnected" from my conciousness... it's weird I'm gonna write one of the biggest topics Xisto has ever seen sometime with EVERYTING in it. heymish said This may be true, but my primary school (5-11 years old) was mixed, and although supposedly you have no sexuality at that age, I just kind of "knew". What I do agree with is that you have no sex-life at that age, you may just have a sexuality though. I think all this stuff about ages and sexualitys really depends on the individual. I know that I'm not just saying I'm gay to stand out or anything, although I know someone in my school who I think is, he was saying he was Bi, then I heard from the school's gay comunity that he wasn't very involved and he himself said he was "rebelling against the gay comunity" and now (after the negative attention), says that he's "unsure". I simply KNOW he's straight. Something that may help explain 4 (maybe) is that if you are one of the comunity at school, the "elders" of the comunity control you. Well, not really control you... but you have the respect to obey them because they're older and they pretty much fight for your rights day in day out. I myself have been physical protected by one of them once. And if people are saying nasty things orientated around your sexuality (or sometimes not).... they'll back you up I have no idea why I numbered this... It's just a little update. Although I may extend it further at a later date.
  7. my thoughts: We're *BLEEP*ed right? So let's just enjoy our lives while we can. Even if they do invent all this space travel *BLEEP*, we'll be long dead before anyone but the rich can use it... and I doubt they're any rich people on Xisto... otherwise they'd but their own server etc.
  8. Wow, I didn't know I was in the Help, Advice and Support forum nominations... wonder how that happened. Anyway, I was thinking about being more active in those forums. I like to help
  9. EXACTLY! I joined (fiend [intentional] told me about it), started playing... and realised that if I had a better/faster connection this WOULD take over my life... same with MSN messenger. I took an MSN messenger brake for about 3 weeks, did my life (read: sexlife) wonders! Anyway, good on you for quiting Runescape. If you know someone who uses Runescape and hates you, give them your account Let it ruin their life!
  10. Hmm, if you do use phpbb forums, make sure to keep them updated, as they can be particularly... hackable. Not that I would know of course. [Yes, BuffaloHELP, I have used the word "hack" on your forums... so sue me]. Anyway, whatever forum you chose... make sure it has style! Design and content are the only things you really need. Design and content baby, design and content... (Yes, I am thoroughly insane).
  11. Just wanted to mention this, seeing as no one else did... This isn't anything to do with Xisto by the way, it's the default icon for all Invision Power Boards. Also, is there anything else you can do with the .ico image format?? Edit: This has already been asked (http://forums.xisto.com/topic/8659-little-icon-next-to-address-how-to-get-them/), do search the forums before you post. I know the search facilities are crap (excuse my language), but you may wish to try my method for searching the Forums
  12. Invent a bottomless bottle of Vodka and I'll do anything for you. That is, until I drink myself under the table, and then about 6 feet under the ground. Cool ideas though.
  13. Yah, I heard about this pretty much the moment it happened ... I'm not sure if this was too near my school, but it must have been because they cancelled the after-school detention(s).. so all my friends got out early Of course, I wasn't affected by that 'cos I wasn't in detention... I was sitting at home suspended. I shall write a topic on why I was suspended soon... I swear. Anyway, I think, although these are tragedys for anyone affected, that they're actually pretty cool. It really brings you back down to Earth and kills your ego to see somehing as powerful as nature just tear down everything. Sometimes we need a shock like that. It's also rather worrying... Global warming? I have no idea about the weather, enviroment or anything geographical... just not my stuff. I saw on the news that the Tornado had actually ripped the slates off of roofs and threw them at people and cars... a very scarey kind of hail. I was sitting in my front room that day, and there was the heaviest thunder and lightning... just once. And then there was heavy rain and hail... for only a minute. Thank the fates that it was so short. Anyway, any once else from London witness any of it?
  14. If you watch Scrubs... then hear me say this in a Dr. Cox kind of voice: Well, seeing as what Boozker is refering to is on a mainstream, major US tv show [i believe, I am in the UK], this is just a guess, but why not try http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/? 'Tis actually kinda funny... Notice from serverph: link fixed. as caught by Sprnknwn.
  15. Hmm, I would think it would be because the dog is more of a friendly, happy thing whereas a stick shows the disability without the sugar coating of a nice, tail-wagging doggie. Anyway, my mum is in a wheelchair most of the time, so I do know about disablilty. I have to push her most places 'cos my dad is a.... Well, let's not go there. But basically, when I'm pushing her she never gets ignored.. neither do people come and say "hi" to her either... If she speaks to someone, they speak back. And I can't think why you would believe people are ignoring you unless you speak to them... I wouldn't say "hi" to a random person on the street... Regarding this... I can't read people's minds, so I don't know... But their looks give me a clue. When I'm pushing my mum's wheelchair, I get either neutral or negative looks mostly... The positive looks, though few and far between, seem to come from either other disabled people or young Asian women. And to the negative looks I return a sharp, piercing, nasty but quick glance. Anyway... I hope people stop ignoring you and start treating you better.
  16. Oooh, that sig is definetly of the prettiness... The font is the one trouble, as you said... Maybe bolden it? I'm not sure how that would look though... And I myself have never used GIMP, although I have it on almost every Linux distribution I have and actively use. I've got Macromedia Adobe Fireworks Anywayz, good work
  17. I used to smoke Canabis and sell a bit now and then, but I got a police caution. "Possesion Of Canabis With Intent To Supply". I won't go in to it now, 'cos I'm gonna write a topic on it soon. Basically, 5 hours in a cold cell, a suspension from school and a hell of a wake-up call in life... Don't do it.
  18. The day this world lost Kurt Cobain was a sad, sad day. We lost one of the greatest, most creative individuals there was. I was only one year old, if that, when he commited suicide... I think that if I'd known at the time, even as a baby, I would have cried. I see Kurt Cobain as an idol and as inspiration... I just hope that some day I can be one millionth of the amazing person and musical artist that Kurt Cobain was.R.I.P Kurt Cobain... I hope you have transcended to a higher plain.
  19. Hmm, why not just scrap the whole Winblows Windows thing and install Linux... Linux is the answer to everything "Do you want some coffee?" "Linux." "How are you?" "Linux." Anyway, the point is... 1. Linux is free 2. There are sooo many different free variants of Linux.... there are so many more reasons, but hey. And if you don't wanna switch your whole operating system, Just get somebody to re-install XP Home...
  20. Hmm, apart from the fact the Internet Explorer just plain sucks? It's ok.... ish, but I only use it to test the compatibilty of my webpages. I use Firefox 2.0 and Opera most of the time, but for IE only applications etc.. I'll use IE. There are bound to be a few problems with the release of a new version of a browser, hence Beta testing... However, not all of the bugs are always found. And I've never quite been sure about downgrading browsers myself... My only advice is to download Firefox for you personal computer... You can find it Here. Whatever happens... Good luck!
  21. I'd seen this ages ago, but I forgot to bookmark it! Thanks! I'm gonna destroy this topic tehe
  22. This is a small tool you can download direct from the Microsoft website which will evaluate your PC and various devices like printers, scanners etc. To see if they would be compatible with Windows Vista. You can find the page Here I too would LOVE to get Windows Vista when it's released in the UK, but I only have a little laptop with 248MB RAM and 1.50 Ghz processor..... just not enough for Windows Vista... Especially the Aero effect one. And I have heard only good things from my friends who tested the Beta.... sounds (and looks, I've seen screenshots) Very good. I just love the look of the replacement for the Start button. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in getting Vista!
  23. Well, welcome to our forums Ricardo! I'm sure you love it here... That is, as long as you obey the Rules. Anyway, I look forward to reading your posts on this forum, enjoy!
  24. Oooo. Pretty ^-^ If I ever had a forum, I would try to get a template as cool as that. As much as I dislike the Xbox in most respects, I love that style! Keep up the good work!
  25. Hmm, I'm very much the Playstation guys myself... All the games consoles I own are Sony bar one... Gamecube! I have a Playstation1, Playstation2, Gamecube, PSP... and more! I generally hate Xbox etc... But I love Halo! Just the amount of weapons and all you can do is amazing... it's a shame you can't get something like this on PSP or PlayStation2/3
