It may sound good, but as per above, its only a earner if the sites really active (as in 100,000 clicks a day or so forth). Which seems it may only work for real busy commercial sites, and to a lesser extent busier forum/sports/etc communities.

What Would You Do If There Was No Internet? hmm...
arnz replied to whyme's topic in Science and Technology
I would've been reading more, playing consoles and probably would've been a lot more of a waste of space trying to program games and programs in a different programming code. On second thoughts in that case, I definitely would've studied a bit harder while in uni and put more effort in things. I am passing, but there have been times where I could've done better. -
MSN may be a popular site, and may crawl the site quickly. But IMO, it is far behind in google in regard to quality and substance. But then again, if you wanted a page to be on search engines quickly, MSN, or to some extent the old inktomi base (through Yahoo) would do the job.

It would be interesting in some ways, but it would make it harder for those that are close to the subject, or those who are concerned, to understand. It depends on the situation, but I'll agree with one of the points presented by one of the posts above. Who will the subject speak to if the language was developed on their own?, it wont have anyone to speak to but itself. Also, humans, animals or all living creatures would be interested to see whats behind the surroundings (in this case being alone or trapped in a room) and how it may work and so forth. This is just a few thoughts.

Building Your Own Website finding free resources on the web
arnz replied to java_nel's topic in General Discussion
Also there are tutorials on the related programs ie Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and so forth that would help the beginner/intermediate to create a decent layout and website. Some are from the sources themselves, and there are many good sites found in search on google. -
ahh, funny stuff, and I only follow a handful of those rules. I have to say, I disagree with many of em. Yet I had some interesting relationships over time (short and long term). Also many I had been friends/mates with at least admit to being wrong when its necessary, unlike some that may be drama queens. Some (but not all) may be drama queens for the attention, but thats just my thoughts.

Always best to dress nice, especially most of the times at interviews I go in a white button/sleeve shirt, black trousers, and so forth.

Stupid Things You've Done While Making Or Fixing A Pc

I fried one particular RAM stick twice when repairing an ancient pentium 3. Did cost me a fair bit to get the replacement RAM. -
Welcome to Xisto, I'm sure that you'll enjoy your time here, as a host, and being a part of the forum community.

Vista looks good so far from what I seen in magazines and so forth. But I do tend to wait untill particular bugs on the program are ironed out. One good case is Windows ME, many people buying it without realising the bugs that came out with it, or pretty much looking like Windows 98 Third Edition.

Peter Costello, our treasurer has kindly asked all Australians to boost their fertility rate. Would you have a child at the treasurer's request, or not and why? Link of short article is below. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

How To Avoid The Bandwidth Robbery How to avoid the bandwidth robbery

Not a bad tutorial. When I get the time, I'd be interested to replace a standard "no hot linking" image with a custom made image from Photoshop. Some "no hotlinking" images have been funny from time to time. -
Win 2000 aint that bad, although I do think it uses a similar system to Windows ME with security leaks (Windows ME also known as Windows 98 Third Edition).

I know this aint a everyday type of post in here, but for those that have flown either domestically or internationally. Which airline/s have you flown with, and where? Was the service any good. For me, the list of airlines, areas i've flown to is.Qantas - Brisbane to Manila & v.v - Not bad, yet not great either.Air Canada - Los Angeles to Toronto - Fairly good service, even got a entire can of soft drink when I requested for a cup of lemonade/sprite.Air New Zealand - Brisbane to Auckland to Los Angeles & v.v - back then, they didnt have In-seat TV's. But still, not that bad of a service with very comfortable seats.Ansett Australia - R.I.P - When they were around, had excellent service & had Personal TV's (although it was installed from Singapore Airlines) on their 747s.Philippine Airlines - Manila to Baguio / Hong Kong - Ok service for a short flight. Standard drinks + sandwich.

Won't affect me. I hardly use it since there is too many leechers on there. Good luck to them if they're going to get back on since they dont actually host the files and so forth.

I've played both Sims 1 and 2... Both are pretty addictive games, although I tend to get sick of it after a while, then play it again after a long hiatus. But then again I havent played as much games due to outside commitments.

There are laws on the internet, but governed under which country the viewer is from. There is no unified rules or laws on how to use the internet, as one of the reasons is that it depends on which countries you are from. China is an obvious example, and another is the music downloading/piracy issues and how each country is handling it.

Megaupload Reduced Their Download Limit Again! [resolved]
arnz replied to DogEater008's topic in General Discussion
100 slots. I wouldnt bother providing the service if thats the case, and many would'nt bother trying if a very limited amount of slots for whats normally a popular service is available. -
Depends on the employers impressions, although I would suggest dressing smart with a button/sleeved shirt, black trousers, black shoes, well shaved and so forth. Being well dresses does give an impression with the interviewer.

Megaupload Reduced Their Download Limit Again! [resolved]

Yes its also a pain on sites such as youtube when they change the limits and so forth, that there are still media files out there that are well over 10 minutes. But then again it was uploaded before the limits were changed.I also agree to an extent about P2P, especially with the GATOR spyware controversy in the past on various classic P2P programs.
