yea just the standard Windows 7 User Account Picture... I quite like the Windows 8 theme to be honest... feels real simple and clean the tile/mosaic layout is still a bit too much for me

so i'm going to replace my old 640GB 7200 rpm drive (3.5") which has done me roughly about 5 years or so now... so i'm looking at getting a 2.5" 750GB 7200rpm - i wanted to go for an SSD but they are just too damn expensive with the budget i set for the 750GB 2.5" drive i can manage to get a 60GB SSD driveso i'm wondering what are your opinions in the difference between the 2.5" vs 3.5"? I notice that the 2.5" are abit quieter but i am wondering how different are they in performance if any?cheers

update - ended up altering background color on Login/Lock screen...

Here are the results guys: 1. Windows 8 theme (without Metro Tiles - don't like them) 2. I opted to stick to my colorful task bar Windows 7 icons 3. Login/Lock Screen - I opted not to change the background and color and the Windows 7 text 4. Added Object Dock from Stardock - best Dock tool in my experience 5. Also added WindowFX from Stardock - they've got some pretty cool animations which makes my Windows 7 Desktop feel like Linux Compiz Loving the simple look and feel Dual screen Desktop at low - 1280x1024: With Object Dock - Mouse Hover Zoom Animation Login/Lock Screen:

funny thing i find is that when i copy stuff from the VM to USB Drive and then copy these to the Host it seems quicker than copying via shared folder - i was expecting these two processes to be the opposite

Anyone know how to add a second Taskbar - I installed a Windows 8 Metro theme on Windows 7 and it's looking great, now i wanna clean up my desktop and set a second Taskbar which will sit on top and will hold all my shortcuts/quicklaunch (like in Linux)I know there are third party dock tools but i'd prefer a taskbar similar to the existing Windows 8 taskbar

So i tested out Nexus Dock the other day and after playing around with it for a bit i decided to remove it, but now it is being initialized everytime i start up Windows.. Platform: Windows 7

what kind of video card are you using on this setup? might pay to install driver and control panel - its probably a lot easier handling it this way

I'm actually just after wobbly effect and snapping windows really... but i don't want a full skin for a whole new look and feel which seems to me that is what comes with the Ubuntu Skin/Themes packages on those linksTheres a Cube desktop tool for Windows but doesn't really come with the effects i'm after and it costs hehe

looks good, this pack transforms/skins Windows 7, im more interested in a tool just to add effects to current Windows 7 skin (I don't really fancy Ubuntu theme to be honest)

seems like a good way of countering spams... quite handy when posting, if poster clicks on wrong pic the user is delayed from re-posting for a couple or so minutes and when images reloaded it will re-shuffle through its collection of images and reload a new set

ah ha... thanks i checked security tab and compare Folder and Drive so i added Everyone to Group or Username for Drive which was missing thanks agyat...

already turned off... i also tried disabling firewall/anti-virus (avast) but to no avail
