That's a really nice sig you made for Jim. Are you sure he's as wise as you're giving him credit for?Sorry Jim, couldn't resist. LOLSeriously though, congratulations!

I have a wireless router with a built-in firewall, plus Norton installed on both machines in the house. Results have been very good with this configuration, and of course, Norton Anti-Virus, Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware help keep the machines clean.

I couldn't find anything to do with wytchtexts.exe, but when I googled Kule Book of Shadows quite a few hits came back.If you do a search for it on Downloads at CNET, you'll see that quite a few of the user reviews complain about it not working properly and being buggy.I would try downloading again and then re-installing.

WOLVERINE! Absolutely and no doubt about it. His natural talents and super fast healing abilities make him a natural fighter. The fact that he's Canadian also helps to make him my favorite!

I've never owned a MAC but I have used them. They always were the standard of choice in the professional graphics industry for photographers and print media publishers. But for the type of stuff that I do, such as web work and graphics, I find that my WinXP based PC does just fine.

I've got a 19" Dell LCD and have had it now for almost a year. I love it! I mostly do regular computer work like web files and graphics. I know that CRT's are better for fast gaming but for the games that I play, like Civilization and Age of Empires, my LCD is fast enough.

What Is Raid? or Redundant Array of Independent Disks
moogie replied to amhso's topic in General Discussion
Definitely IDE drives can and are used in RAID configurations. The ability to be part of a RAID configuration is not dependent on the type of hard drive. It is dependent on the controller and the accompanying software. There are a number of companies who make IDE RAID controllers. A company named Promise Technology was one of the first, if not the very first, and now of course there are others including Adaptec, Iwill and Highpoint.Promise was making IDE RAID controllers back when IDE drives were still running at ATA66 and I believe that at that time you could only have RAID 0 or RAID 1. Now of course you can have up ro RAID 5.Quite a few of these IDE RAID manufacturers also offer hot swap RAID canisters. -

Here in the Toronto Ontario area, gas prices are about $1.10/liter (Canadian). So that would be about US$3.70/gal.There's some talk about prices going up to around $2.00CAD/liter (US$6.50/gal) but that's just rumor and speculation. It really makes you wonder if the rumors are started by the oil companies so they can justify raising the prices. We have our own oil and gasoline reserves and I'm not sure exactly why Texas refineries being out of commission should affect us so much.Yesterday, people were lining up at gas stations to fill up before prices go up. Some people were waiting over an hour to get gas. And this was all because of the rumors! By the afternoon, gas stations had actually run out of gas because of the high demand and had to wait for refueling before they could open again.End result at the end of the day? No increase in price but they sold a ton of gas.

New Render Package 242 renders
moogie replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Thanks bluhapp! That link works just fine. And thank you to Saint Michael for sharing these renders. Now, as someone else said, I might need more storage space LOL -
I don't think it's that bad. Still needs some work though, especially with the font and where the blue runs into the black. Maybe if you choose a stronger font face it would be easier to read. Your blue is so dark on your side navigation bar, that you've lost the definition on the buttons...unless you're going to change color on mouse-over.But overall a really nice effort.

I run 1280 x 1024 on a 19 " LCD TFT for most applications but I find that I have to swtich to 1024 x 768 for some of the games I play. The "God View" is great but the characters just are too small LOL

New Render Package 242 renders
moogie replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I tried to download your renders but the link is no longer available. Are your renders still available? I'm new to making sigs and would be very interesting in seeing what you use for renders and trying my hand at creating sigs. -
There are 2 pc's in our house. Both run WinXP and are connected through a router to the cable modem. Mine is wireless (802.11G) to the router because it's down the hall from the room the router and cable modem are in.I'm happy to say both machines are running well and so far everything's been working very well!

moogie replied to mianlien72's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
This link still isn't working. That's a pity because the layout sounded really interesting and I'd love to see what you've done with it.
