I know a couple of times bots have been able to post in Xisto hosted section forum which is only access by hosted members and above.I agree with you foolakadugie the people who are programming these because all the bots have to do is post randomly without the need for the user to type anything.Like what has been mention all the mods and admin can do is ban and suspend those accounts and delete posts or set up a spam section in your forum and move them there.If you do that you could get a collective idea what ip numbers to ban and what not.

I agree with austiniskoge that background music will hurt your site not only in hits but loading the website as well. So make sure not to have it start automatically but let the person who is on your site the option to play the music or not.

I agree with Matsy any smart person would just view the source from the file menu or if you have firefox and downloaded the plug-ins that I mentioned in a post of mine you can do it that way as well.But I did see a site or 2 that have completely disable the viewing of the source code including the menu version. Don't ask me how it was done, maybe server side or php. But it has been done.

Well worse case scenario you have to start banning ip addresses. But what you do is create a htaccess file banning them through that way. order allow,denydeny from xxx.xx.x.xdeny from xxx.xx.x.xdeny from xxx.xx.x.xallow from all you can also try invisionize. and see what they have for mods or some other mod site for the forum you use. Best thing you can do is let your mods and other members report th porn spam and just ban, suspend, block those who do it.

This isn't old news violence been going on since Mortal Kombat first came out back in the early 90s. Yeah I'm a smartftp as well, don't know why they bothered with that free trial pop up I still can use it without no hacks or cracks. I recommended it to several people who are just starting out in websites, I just give them a brief intro on how to set it up and they are on there way.

Why don't you use the standard fonts Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif combo. But I do believe you have to upload the fonts yourself to your account in order to use them that way. I don't think hosting accounts come with a standard font package except for the 3 i just mention.

Well First off Final Fantasy is not a sequel it's only a sequel in number. Minus the FFX and FFX-2. Each game is completely different in every aspect minus the similarities. Metal Gear series has been good since it's Nintendo days can't wait to play 4, although rumors are going that this is the final one since snake is well old. But who knows.Sports games are also not sequels either, because their is no plot to it, it's just sports. Although I am a madden fan they better do something different for Madden 2008, because playing football I see no real challenge .Silent Hill has a good sequels as well never played them except for 3 and I got bored with htat game rather quickly.Resident evil, that series has to many sequels and spin offs it's not even funny, but still good.Parasite Eve was a good series to bad they only made 2 games for it, wouldn't mind seeing a third.Then the grand daddy of them All Super Mario bros, need I say more on that.
