  1. aggie if you look at my post http://forums.xisto.com/topic/42607-firefox-extensions-dream-package-1-web-design-extensions-add-ons-and-plug-ins/ i have an add-on that does what your asking.
  2. you park the domain in your cpanel, by logging in then click on the park domain link and then enter your address and click submit and your set.
  3. That render is hard to work with, just depends on the brushing that you use to blend it. a Bit dark and monotone but ok.
  4. The ip number they are asking for is your computer ip number which is used to id your computer. To find that out go here http://www.ipchicken.com/ copy the ip number down and put it in and your set.
  5. you got the basics down i see, time to work on detail and what not. Good Job Sharn.
  6. to fix it you can edit your posts here, so when you get the chance just fix it up and your set.
  7. I believe rejected is right he is around 53-55 remember he shouted his age awhile back.But yeah Happy brithday their grandpa.
  8. one suggestion line up your images with your steps although most of us could follow it. Those starting out will not an idea what images goes to what.
  9. Actually CF it's not so much as to many clip arts but the actual background that the information is being presented on. If you have a busy background it kind of distracts the people reading what your trying to explain. With the work I have done so far a simple background is all you need with a border that doesn't take up the whole thing.I haven't seen to many presentations that have more then 1 clip art image is needed. But of course using the wrong clip art could make hte point your trying to make seem stupid.I agree with you on the fonts a plain font does just as well as using 5 different funky fonts. That is true doesn't matter how fancy you make the presentation just as long as you present the information that is needed for whatever your trying to do.@haslip clip art is just a image to enhance your document, trying to stump me were you haslip?
  10. This link gives some detail information about where a website is located at. http://whois.domaintools.com/ But why would you want to know where websites are hosting on? Althought I can fathom a guess, just call it curosity.
  11. in your cpanel click on manage redirects do this http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and then select permanent.It should work successfully but if not use the php code that I used and that will do the same.
  12. I recommend this site. pixel2life.com they have a lot of php tutorials that are used in a wide range of areas. Most tutorials go into detail while others expect you to know what you are doing.
  13. what I suggest is that you set up a redirect through your cpanel that will make your mambo file into the main page. Or do up a php script that does the same thing. <?phpheader('Location: http://google.com;
  14. Sig size: 150x25 - 350x150 Brush Style: Any, try to make it look like an award. Render: Any if you think fits with the Award theme. Text: Xisto Award winner. Other Text: Test Award Other Text: You can make a little note saying made by, "Your Name" if you'd like. Animation: If possible if someone has more than one award show some type of animation that will show the different awards alternating. Really just be creative and see what you can come up with. The winner of the SOTW will have their tag given to all the winners of the 2006 Trap Awards. The PSD might be needed unless you want to edit them yourself. Have fun and Good Luck.

  20. @mbacarra you might have had your images turn off somehow, all versions of FF accepted the png format so other what I just mentioned no idea.Just added in some new extensions everyone-Windows Resizer-Opera View-Load time Analyzer-Offline Validator
  21. I know that web developer extension has css view as well, I mention that in both extensions.
  22. Mjay in reference to the extension updates, what is being mention are used for webdesign and what not I made a topic about the dream package for web designers here. http://forums.xisto.com/topic/42607-firefox-extensions-dream-package-1-web-design-extensions-add-ons-and-plug-ins/ Most of these tools have been updated at the release of FF 2.0 @Yacoby I agree who cares what it is called most people know what your talking about if you do mention FF when it concerns design and what not. Let try to stay on topic as well please I know of several topics concerning the browser wars. But I do find it amusing though that no one mentions Netscape anymore, Most of hte time you hear about IE, FF and Opera, although I only could imagine how much NS destroys web designs, But I remember correctly NS structure is similar to Opera I think, Someone confirm that for me thanks.
  23. Just a small hint any web pages that don't have like a guest book or a comment section put it to 666 or 775 this will prevent people from changing the code and also it would be good to password protect you files though the use of either a htaccess file or the password protection that comes with the cpanel.
  24. Not bad of a skin like the use of light and dark colors, using joomla I see. A couple of suggestions one with the search box add a submit button if you can or put a small note that says "Press the Enter key after typing in text in search box." Or something like that. Next suggestion would be to change the Feed images as well I recommend using this site to make them http://www.lucazappa.com/brilliantMaker/buttonImage.php Also you have a parse error on your forum, either you editing right now as I type this post or you haven't yet and this is the first you know about it. By the looks of it you try adding a mod somewhere and you copy and pasted the code wrong might want to check up on that as well. But like haslip said once you add the content we should take another look at it.
