  1. Wow only 10,000. But wouldn't using less people take longer to build the pyramid? I mean I can understand wanting to cut your time in half by using more, but I can also understand using only those who knew what they were doing. I know that the Egyptians developed some pretty interesting methods for completing tasks. I mean a race of people that can mummify a human sure as heck can do many other amazing things.... Makes you wonder that if the Incas had any sort of ancestral background with the Egyptians.... a long unspoken past.
  2. Well i imagine it's for security purposes. I mean don't you feel good knowing they DO have such stringent practices in place to make sure YOUR money is safe with them? I feel better knowing my account is being watched like a hawk. Prior to ebay buying them, I had an account that got hacked. He spent $300 of my money buying domains and hosting. And Paypal and the bank in which my account was attached to, both refused to do anything about it, and I would up owing the bank the $300.00. I even filed a police report, but since it happened outside the US technically, they could do anything. So I would be happy knowing they are watching all account activity.

  5. Hmmm... not that I am a genius or anything, but I still ask this, if chaos supposedly reigns, how do you explain the simple sphere? It's nature's, or the universe's simplest shape and it's, for lack of a better word, perfect.
  6. Ok here it goes:Take any 5 consecutive numbers and write them down vertically on a sheet of paper.i.e.:12345Now going down the line, square these guys and write the answer to the left:1*1=12*2=43*3=94*4=165*5= 25Now, going down the line again, take the smaller total and subtract it from the total below it, and write it between the 2 to the right, like so:1 >34 >59 >716 >925And do it one more time with those answers: and you will always come up with the answer 2.I am not sure why this happens, but here is the next cool part (Don't ask me why I thought of this in the shower, I have no idea why)Take another set of numbers, they have to be consecutive and cube them and do the same process, the answer will always come out as 6. (You may have to increase the number of consecutive numbers, in order to subtract all the way out to the common answer)Ready for the next cool part, want the answer to if you did those consecutive number to the power of 4? The answer will always be 24. Want to know how I know that? All you have to do, is take the subtraction answer of set 1 and multiply it times the power of the next set.So like this:Set 1, the set you multiplied by a power of 2, it's answer is 2Set 2, the set you multiplied by a power of 3, it's answer is 6 (2*3)Set 3, the set you multiplied by a power of 4, it's answer is 24 (6*4)Set 4, the set you would multiply times a power of 5, it's answer will be 120 (24*5)And then after doing a bunch of those, and subtracting all those answer out, somewhere down the line it all comes back to 1,2,3,4,5,6,...etc. Weird huh?Explain that one for me. Or if you need me to, I'll do it on paper and scan it in, if it's confusing to you guys and gals.
  7. While they were dragging these blocks up the incline, was there any kind of breaking mechanism in place just in case the ropes or hooks broke loose? I think it would be kind of hard to get this thing in the air and onto the logs to begin with, but half way up the ramp, I don't believe there would have been a crane type device to put it back on the logs, or else they would have used that to move the block into place to begin with.
  8. Well there are 2 schools of thought on this kind of thing.1) Welfare fuels a bad economy2) Lack of education fuels unemploymentBut saying that you need a college degree to get a good job, well... that's not exactly true. Work experience can sometimes, and most often is substituted for book knowledge or a degree.People of welfare are there for a reason. They don't want to work. Quite frankly, if you want to work, you go get a job. If you do not want to work, you go on welfare, at least that's the way it is in most major cities in US.Although setting up those work centers is a great idea, they have done it, and some, only some people take advantage of it. I mean let's get real here. If you have been living on welfare for any length of time, you realize, that you can get, housing, food, clothing and insurance all on the taxpayers dime. What's the point of working, if you can get by, by not working. It comes down to morals and standards. If you really want to work, you get your butt up and go fill out an application. Simple as that.
  9. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!Apple on Pizza? Are you kidding me? No way.Is it really that good? I never thought of that. Hmmmm.........Apple Pizza Pie
  10. I used to love photography, and I guess I still have an interest in it, but it does lose it's pinash after a while, just because I can't buy the latest and greatest cameras out there. But again, you should be able to take a great pic with a polaroid provided you know what you're doing. But I found an advantage to having ADD, I have a lot of hobbies. And they keep me busy. SO if I get bored with one, I just move onto the next, and so on, till eventually I come around full circle and start on that one hobby again.
  11. I think you should try anyway. The main purpose of these contests is to yes find a winner, but the underlying purpose is to help each of us get better. The people who are currently involved int his seem to be of good character, and I am sure you will get constructive criticism. Which actually I am hoping to get. because there is no way to know if I am doing some techniques right or wrong without others input. I promise no one will laugh or put ya down
  12. I like Ubuntu....easy to set up easy to use, great interface... just love it
  13. I don't know about that. I mean you can predict where the nest surface area is going to be right? I mean I have seen programs zoom in on fractals, and they all have symmetry to them. Is that really chaos?
  14. Ok here it is.... freestyle entry. Hope you like it.

      Into the future

  16. Yeah and ya know Stephen Hawking says that if you were able to travel at the near speed of light speed, you would be travelling into the future. The thought that if you could travel at that speed, leave earth and return in what you think is 25 years would actually be 100 years (or somewhere around there). I think that is cheating by saying you've traveled through time. I mean at that speed things slow down. So technically you are just not aging as fast as some who stayed on earth. I know, white rabbit, sorry. Just had to get that in there. time travelling.... whole different subject.
  17. Do you believe in the notion that there is a part of the universe that is not controlled, by.... something? Chaos, utter and complete chaos?I believe Chaos does not exist. I can throw you some examples or why I believe that.1) If chaos truly existed, would planets have formed into spheres? I mean a sphere has got to be the least favorite shape of chaos, because it is the easiest one to make. It's the path of least resistance.2) Could chaos also create symmetry? I don't think so. Look at yourself in the mirror. Do you really think chaos made you, by mistake or by accident? Nope.3) Could chaos have invented math? Probably the most ordered thing in our universe...4) How about laws of nature that exist just not here but on other planets or in space....What do you think?
  18. Boy, where do you start with this one?I guess it's safe to say that everyone has a brain. It just depends on whether or not we decide to use it. And I guess it depends on what kind of smarts you have. There are basically 2 different types of smart and 1 type of stupid. There are some who have book smarts and those who have street smarts.Book smarts are great for getting a job or quoting convential information that is based upon and unreal reality. For instance, information that you find in a book is based upon test and trials that were performed under a controlled environment. But that does not apply to what happens in the real world. The real world has one thing the a controlled environment does not, and that is uncertainty. So do you think that all people have intelligence just because they are human? How do you define intelligence?
  19. God told Moses, when asked who has told him these things, for him to say, “I Am” did. I began thinking about why God would ever say this, “I Am”. What does that mean? What is ‘I Am’. God being who and what he is, is everywhere and everything. I Am. If you were talking to someone who you had just met through a friend, you would introduce yourself as ‘I am so and so, John’s friend” stating that I am this person’s friend, with whom you already know. But God didn’t say he was the friend of so and so, or someone’s brother, he said ‘I Am’. A definitive answer to who he is, was and always shall be. “Am” Am- a singularity, one, first person In the 17th century, the French philosopher René Descartes came up with the "explanation for it all": "I think, therefore I am". Ok, so here we have God, who is “Am”, and a jealous God. Why would God have a need to feel jealous. If he knows he is the Alpha and the Omega, the One True God, why would he ever have to tell us he was a jealous God? You have a solution to a problem that has plagued man since time itself began. And you start to spread the word about it. But it’s a drastic solution. Something off the norm. Something most people would question, because it goes against all that they think they know. But you have tried it, and it has works hundreds of times. Yet the non believers still want to do things the hard way, you’d sit there and get angry thinking, “Why are you doing this the hard way. My way is easier and costs you less grief and pain.” You might even get jealous of their idea, because they are believing in it and failing, instead of your proven way.
  20. I find doubt in myself at times. And honestly, I don?t like it. But I have figured a few things out about myself and where I want to go in life. I found out one very important thing, and that is that the world does not owe me anything. What do I mean by this? Well I feel like all that I do, is so that people will notice me, remember me, and go through life thinking, ?Wow, I want to be like him someday?. I think these are the same thoughts my dad had. He was always concerned about other people, and was always trying to be good at a lot of things, never really mastering one. And here I sit, following in his footsteps. I feel like I want the world to finally pay respect to me. But they do not have to. Nor do they want to. I am nothing in this world. I am everything to God, and nothing here. What a horrible feeling to want to be something, knowing you can?t. I am not trying to start a pity party for myself. It?s not about that. It?s about realizing that I have nothing to offer the world or the people who inhabit it. I have what God has given to me, and even there I have perverted that. My world revolves around myself. I am always trying to be the center of attention, whether it is good or bad. And my children are starting to exhibit the same traits, and I do not want that for them. But there I go again, thinking about me. But how do I determine what is the proper way to raise my kids without pushing myself on them? I get mad about people not respecting me. Why? Why does it matter if the respect you or not? I mean do they have to? No. Should they? Yes, but that doesn?t mean they will. Do unto others, as you would have done to you. Treat people with respect, and you?ll get it in return. I?m still waiting for that one. Just like I?m waiting for the ?Good thing come to those who wait? thing. Mom always drilled into my head that life wasn?t fair, and she?s right. Life isn?t fair. Heck, life in itself doesn?t care whether you exist or not. So why would it be fair? My problem is that I get so caught up in my dreams and fantasies that I lose hold of the real world. The stuff that is really going on out here. I think about having a world where I have music playing all the time, I can go to work when I want, and come home to a clean house with a wife and children that respect me for my hard work, and just because I am who I am. But that is not the way life works. As a matter of fact, it works against all that you strive to want. I think that it has a purpose for doing that though. So you won?t go so high up, that when you fall it won?t hurt so much. And you can get right back up and try again.?Life is the exact opposite of what you dreamt it would be.?-Unknown
  21. I am glad that you enjoyed that. I've been milling over that for a year or so. It's not that I think that saying faith the size of a mustard seed is wrong, I just believe that it has been taught that way for so long, that we tend to stop thinking by ourselves and just go with what is said or taught to us. Yes most definitely things are lost in translation. I tell ya, I use an app called e-sword. It's a really great free bible study app, and it has many, many free translations that go along with it. Along with many free study guides, graphics, maps, etc. You should check it out. And I use that app too sometimes get the original greek or hebrew word and compare versions next to each other. it's a great tool!
  22. Maybe I'm un-educated, oh wait I am.... I don't understand how light can be affected by this? Light has no mass... can you explain why light follows this rule too? I understand why mass does.By the way I love causing trouble with questions like these
  23. I was gonna wait till October 15th to post a 2 year reply, but then I thought, who cares.Anyway... there will always be stupid videos, mainly because there are stoopid people. But like what's hid face said, I wouldn't remove them, it makes for good entertainment. i mean you wouldn't have a topic without them, right?I've made stupid video, mainly because I was bored. The video that I can't stand are the inside joke videos. No one is gonna get them but a few unique individuals. Those are the worst.....Don't wait 2 years to respond. Thats a long time to have a good conversation

A Freudian image of self reliance through the manifestation of superior, hyper-extended ego synapsis. Coupled to the fact that you had sudo sensetivity through psychokenesis relevation :)In other words I have no clue
