You know how when you password protect a page/directory, and try to access that page/directory, you would be prompted to type in your username and password? Is it possible for me to input some code on a page so that the person types his uername and password on the webpage itself like those loginboxes which you seein many websites. I know i sound kinda stupid but I was just hoping that it could work.I would appreciate all your help!

Never heard of Balder's gate but i did play Lionheart before. Judging by your comments, Black isle seems to be a pretty good company, what with all that 3D and great game storyboard. What is Baldur's Gte about anyway? Does it have a complicated story based on it? (I love RPGs with big stories related to it )

If Nuclear Fusion is not an option, why do scientists still think of it that way then?After the fission idea, scientists wanted to be BIG, so they came up with the fusion idea. Its like profit and loss, Investing the energy into combining the metals then recieving a loss is definitely something that we would regret. What I'm saying here is that if the world kept relying on Fossil fuels as a reliable energy source, it would be depleted in a mere few years. So everyone after the depletion of fossil fuels, if another reliable energy source is not found yet, will go after the most reliable and renewable energy source of the Earth, the Sun.Would this result in the whole Earth people encasing their houses with solar panels? What are the consequences if people these days do not understand?

Wow nice program...I was wondering how 3D images can be exported into other programs like Macromedia Flash. So far, Flash is really giving me a hard time, I couldn't get the layers right all the time. I use 3D studio max for 3D imaging but after awhile, i realise it is kinda old school. Anybody got any ideas how i can actually have a good newbie-based 3D imaging software for me to start off with?

I've used Javascript. It's quite easy to learn like HTML. Started with a few tutorials and then went to self-classes. It can make your site pretty attractive if used correctly. There are also lots of websites on the web which give out free javascript codes for your website. Just out of curiousity, has anyone realised the codes at Javascript Source don't all work? Maybe someone could solve my problem?

I have gmail but at the moment, i gotta admit its quite lame. There are not much tools at all. The only great thing about it is its size and POP3 which u can use with Eudora or Outlook Express and that. Those who really want gmail should just wait actually... Pretty pathetic at the moment..

I had a lvl 13 sorceror on Danubia, I quit in the end 'cause it was too time consuming. (Especially the beginning part). Training your character is VERY difficult, and i think the p2p version of it has too much priveleges that normal members don't have, so its kinda unfair. After Tibia i went to Pristontale though, and had the most fun i ever had in an MMORPG game!!

GuildWars is quite a big game... The company seem to think they can strike it rich with the release of this game. Personally i think its rather original, a free MMORPG (though you have to buy it) doesn't come this easily. Sooner or later they might release a p2p version of it like runescape don't you think? I've never played it before but I have a feeling I'm going to buy it!

OK lets skip the Direct X and move back to 3rd world entertainment - MUDs. === Introduction === The definition of a MUD is Multi-user dungeon. Most people would call it a "text game". By far it is known as one of the most boring games on the net. ome people who try it out - like me ( ) Know the REAL facts. Now I'm going to tell you whats REAL and whats not. ===Why play MUDs?=== Haha! Let's go straight to the point. Can you "kick" an npc and make him hurt in graphic games? Can you wear tattoos or dress yourself up your own way, your own style? What about battling? In most games, there is only one "method" to kill. In MUDs, you get to "jab, punch, kick, hammer, smash, crush..etc...". You also get more skills and things to do as the producers don't have to go to the trouble in generating the graphics. === Controls === OK I told you what it was like now what are you thinking? "It's just a bunch of letters, and besides, how am i supposed to even MOVE in this game...?" OK firstly, all MUDs maneuver by the words: (N)orth, (S)outh, (E)ast, (W)est. So if you want to move towards the north, you type "n" and you will be transfered to another map to the north. Simple right? What about talking? To talk you would type "say <message>" or just a (') quotation will do and then your message. To send private messages are usually different. In many MUDs, you would have to type "tell <username><message>". Sometimes, you would get a post office in towns for you to send mail. All the rest of the controls you would learn soon enough when you play the MUD itself. === What next? === Well I would suggest you go with an easy-going MUD first. In my opinion, Ancient Anguish would be a good start. They do not have a newbie tutorial but they DO have a newbie guide online which you can read. Ancient Anguish is a quite "Straight forward" MUD. It has all the features of a normal MUD and newbie-friendly too. After AA, and you think you could do better, move on to Achaea. Achaea is a more "dedicated" MUD. You have to take tests and pass them in order to be a full guild member or class. I personally like their races too. I chose atavian on my first character in Achaea. Atavians are flying beasts which look like humans but have wings. I had SOO much fun flying on them over seas and rivers and mountains. Especially if some "Jesters"(Another class who dedicates their lives to playing pranks) started "accidentally" dropping banana peels on the floor and you slip. That will make them laugh their heels off. Flying equals you won't get seen and won't drown in deep waters. (But there IS a chance of falling when there are high winds... ). === Played it, tried it, HATE IT!! === Well if thats the truth, then don't think you're not normal. I hope I've put this in the right place because I've never seen a gaming tutorial in the tutorial section of this forum OK first off, your stats should start with a high intelligence (A definite thing in all RPGs) If you start with random stats this will not be worth much. [PRISTONTALE]{Note this guide is only till the 2nd class advance}In Pristontale you don't have to bother much about your stats. Your intelligence is replaced with "spirit". (Take note*) Mages should check the required stats of the robe or wand/staff that you are buying and pump your stats on it. For spells, I recommend for the starter spells you just raise them by 1 each. (You might want to pump on agony)By level 23 after your 2nd class advance you should have accumulated 3 skill points, pump all on watorado. The rest of the skills you can pump 1 each.[MAPLESTORY]{For this game training mage is a bit more complicated}Something you have to remember in this game is that Mages are the ONLY class whose accuracy is based on luck. Mages will pump their stats on Intellect and luck. For a perfect mage in Maplestory, make sure your luck is 3 more than your level and intellect all the rest. At the beginning, don't bother with the luck yet, you will be able to pump on it later. The hardest part of training in the Mage class in MS is during levels 7-19. During this time, your spells are not totally mastered yet and you have poor attacking powers. Do not fear, mages are the world's best ksers and killers, once you have a good mage that is. In Maple island, you will find yourself hitting 1s and 2s. Hard to train but you'll be able to make it with a little patience.For your skills, starting you get one skill point to add. Add it on energy bolt. After that, raise 2 on MP recovery and 1 on claw. When MP recovery is maxed, work on MP increase, when claw is maxed work on Magic guard. NEVER in all cases pump your stat on Magic Armour. The only reason that you will pump your stat on Magic armour is if you want to be a lightning mage. If you want to be a cleric, any of them will do (Guard or armour) 'cause later on invincible will be much stronger. Well this is my tutorial for Mages. I hope it is usefull for people playing these games. I was just wondering if lets say a site viewed on Internet Explorer seems perfect but when viewed on other browsers will look horrible and disoriented, is there a code which i can use so as when the "index.htm" site detects a Mozilla browser for instance then it will automatically redirect to another webpage designed for that certain browser.If there is such a code or if someone can code it, I will greatly appreciate it. Hmm.. I heard of Gamemaker, my friends used to use it then sell off the games for a bit of cash. It's not bad and like Jguy101 said, its so much more easier to use than to write the whole program out in pure computer language. (Especially C+)

I started with watching the series, the theme song in the first series don't amuse me... When the "Johto League" thing of pokemon came out, I was hooked! I have no idea, the theme song actually sounded cool, the pokemon are much fancier!!! Then i took on the game. Never actually finished any of the versions but I still had fun =)

OK this is colors, but what about using background images in replace of colors? I don't think it's pretty much recommended. In my own site, i made the table bg color somewhat similar to the background picture colors and typed the text in it(Of course light color table background = dark colored text). Same goes for bright backgrounds with different colors, you can make a light grayish sortof table and the text goes in it. In this way, there will be no obstruction to the text you type. No sweat! Right?
