my friend and i debated on whether the halo series will become as popular as cs. and i thought that halo will never become as popular. the reason that cs was created was to have a highly realistic game, combining multiplayer. and you dont have to pay 60 bucks for 1 year's access to play multiplayer... (**** you bill gates, **** you) but i love cs and in my mind nothing was as big an impact on the fps world.

this one is almost as debatable as windows vs. linux. cable is faster down, some dsl is faster up. so its really wut u want to use ur inet conn for. if u want to run a basic ftp server or any other server. dsl is good. but if u want fast internet speeds and d/l speeds. cable is the way to go... im talkin about real dsl too, not that crappy hickory tech and some others that come with phone service as well.

interesting topic... staying awake is all mind over matter. if u tell ur body to stay awake, most likely u will stay awake. if u pump ur body with sudo-drugs (caffiene, sugar pills) u will eventually have a crash. in my personal expierence, if i get involved in a heavy lan game of halo2, then i will stay awake and never get tired until the wee hours of the morning. that could be the effect of a little caffiene equivilant called adrenaline. my friend once didnt sleep for 72 hours because of the insergant fire above thier heads thru 2 nights... thats adrenaline guys. he came back and didnt sleep for ever. we finally took him to the doctor to drug him, but adrenaline can do many things to ur body

you could debate this topic until new versions of both os comes out... i personally dual boot to save the hassle of sticking to one side and argueing that they are better. im a fence rider and i really dont know which one is the best. im gonna make someone mad by saying this, but i think both are equal to each other. linux has its pros and cons, as does windows... sorry guys, its a personal opinion

yes, u can upload if the webhost advertises ftp uploading. if they dont advertise that, then they prolly have web-based uploading, which takes time if u wanna start a forum. so i suggest sticking with Xisto seeing as they have ftp uploading. if u have a question on wut ur ftp server upload info is, i would write them an email. or u could always look for it on their site

i dont understand how free hosting comanies make thier money... posting in thier forum wont make them money, there is an ad on the side of thier site... but they advertise no ads on thier hosting sites... is there a catch i missed? some sort of hitch? rackspace is a wallet emptier, so they gotta get money somehow...

why not agp? to my knowlege this pcie is just as good as agp, so why not agp... im not gonna blame u for buying this, but i always thought agp was the best... i could be wrong, but most mobos today have agp built in... idk, ill let other ppl battle this one out cuz i only have a limited knowlege of how graphics cards are these days hope that helped

amd has the amd 64 which is 64-bit processer which would be the equivilant of a dual processing amd 2800. i think pentium has one too. but in the old days the best speed was dual processing motherboards with 2 processors running in tandum. these days they just combined them into one wallet emptying machine

i heard GTA san andreas had a ton of bugs, it didnt get good reviews b/c of this... again, only for the ps2... poor us xbox user

i suggest flashin the bios.. but then u lose some stuff. can boot from a ms-dos boot disk and flash it from there? idk, i heard it could be done, but its worth a shot
