well bani, i am not sure about which one is better for a beginner WAMP or XAMPP. but i remember reading that in a tutorial before. and i heard the same words from my teacher (the one who is giving us lectures in PHP and MYSQL)that XAMPP is better to deal with for students in beginner level.especially for the ones who are using windows.

to answer your question, yes you should have apache, mysql and php installed on every pc or laptop you want to run your php scripts on locally. and about the configuration thing, try XAMPP instead of WAMP, it easier to deal with. therefor, it is always recommended to use XAMPP if you are a beginner, so try it if you want and ask me if you have any question. good luck.edit:when you complete installing, try to type only "localhost" and then you should see the XAMPP page. and from there you should to enter phpmyadmin. if you failed to see any of them then there is something wrong in your installation.and as i told you Xampp doesn't need configuration.

i was facing the same thing with my baby girl when she was two years old and till now . but i always trying to feed her a healthy food, like less sugar and candy or chocolate, more vegetable and fruits and of course less fat. the technique i followed from the beginning, is like this:- always she should drink milk in the morning if she did not, then i try another thing like milk in different taste like the one mixed with banana or strawberry or at least give her a hot chocolate, or milk and tea or anything that contains milk, if she refused then i won't give her anything else, and always i try to bribe her " no milk, no candy".- usually, i give her a one piece of candy or chocolate a day, and between meals. i mean like an extra meal, but never give her anything even fruits before the main meal. because she will feel full and doesn't eat her main meal.- my rule is no chocolate or candy after 6 pm. or she will be active and that will avoid her from sleeping, because of the caffeine in sweets you know.- since my baby is a stubborn baby girl, so i never force her to eat healthy vegetable like salad or anything she dislike. what i do is i say it is ok, don't eat, just wait till we finished. and me and her father start eating in front of her and talking on how a delicious food it is . and because she is curious she will taste to find out. and that worked till now, well not always but most of the time.- in general, if she refused to eat a certain fruit or vegetable, i try to give to her in a different way. like slicing them or cutting them into small pieces and add some extra things to change the taste or look. like adding honey, or a little sugar on fruits. or adding cheese and salt on cucumber. when i am out of ideas, i start searching the net.hope those will help you a bit, good luck.

i am working on asp.net, using microsoft visual web developper 2010 express. and i was trying to use the provider model. so i installed the SDK so i can use the (aspnet_regsql.exe) tool to setup the database required to use (membership, profile, role,...etc). but the first problem i met is not finding the database in the database explorer, or solution explorer. maybe because i am saving my projects in D: drive not C: drive. and when i searched in c: drive i found the database that is created by the tool aspnet_regsql.exe. therefor, i solved the problem by attaching the database manually from the solution explorer. so, is ehat i did right or wrong?? and if it is then how can i attach te database that it seems only can be created in C: drive?? after that when i tried to set up the profile provider, i edited the web.config file, created a login page and added the required code but i got this error: Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.Compiler Error Message: CS0246: The type or namespace name 'system' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)Source Error:[No relevant source lines] i am struggling with this error for the whole last two weeks, so any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

WAMP or XAMPP are the best, but as a beginner i will recommend XAMPP. it is easy to install and use. in fact the new version doesn't need and configuration, not like the older ones. all you need to do is save it from here https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html unzip it and install it. when it finished you will get a folder named XAMPP in your c drive. inside it you can see a folder named "htdocs" and this is where you should save your php files. once you save them there, you can view them in your browser by only typing LOCALHOST/yourfilename.php but don't forget to start apache and mysql from the xampp control panal each time you start working with your php files. that's all.and for best php codes try using an editor that supports php language. i recommend you adobe dreamweaver cs, you can download the trial version from the official site. or you can get this one, komodo for free from here http://www.activestate.com/komodo-ide/downloads/edit and use it to write your codes. after all, training on php codes locally is better 10 times than on any other way. because simply, it will be faster and easier to practice. especially if you are a beginner. good luck.

well, i will say Xisto since i spend time here more than facebook . and as sheepdog said, away from getting a free hosting or domain name. here i can reach my friends and know a lot about them, even i didn't talk to them, and i must say that i always meet interesting people here. also i can get help when i face a problem in my site or get advices. and this is so cool in our time i guess.away from this forums, i don't have a particular site that i like, i appreciate all the sites that offer valuable information and help others in a way or another.

hmm, my favorite tv shows!! i think i have many, so i will post what i remember and if i would remember more i will add them - Opera: it was always my best tv show, she talks about anything and everything and she does that so openly and freely. i really like her.- Doctors: i love this show because they really explain everything in a simple way, and sometimes they give easy solutions for big problems. - Tyra Banks Show: this show in connected to women and the fashion more than anything else. aaa she is funny and give a great tips about fashion and makeup than any other show.- So You Think You Can Dance: it really contains funny events in the beginning of the show when a lot who think they can dance but walking to the end i really enjoy all the kind of dances that they do in so professional way.well i can't remember more right now , and seems not many here share me my interest

yeah, i was about mentioning the same thing, but you were ahead of me mahesh . for me, as i used to depend on self taught to get more knowledge, so i was reading tutorials and search for them all the net. you know, since tutorials are better and faster to get information from a book. and i faced the same problem, reading un understood tutorials that all they do is wasting my time. but honestly mahesh, i never read such bad articles like the ones you posted here . these are the worse from where did you get them??

hmmm seems you are in mood of arguing . anyway, my whole point is based on telling the original writer, i mean asking for his permission first or add a back link to the original topic. so is article spinner programs do that?? if so then i will withdraw every word i said. if not then no in my opinion, the difference between rewriting articles and spinning them is huge. how?? i will explain. first, when we like to write something about a certain topic we will read several topics, collect information and gather them again in our way and words. it is something like making a research, then we don't have to ask for permissions. because basically it will be your effort not others. but taking a certain article and simply spinning it, it is like taking other's efforts. any way, still say it is my opinion and still you won't hear me. it is the usual argument between us so calm down and don't take things personally. it is my opinion and saying so won't prevent others from spinning articles i guess.

hey, i wasn't judging anyone, i repeated over and over again that it is my OWN POINT OF VIEW. and of course i apply it only for me, did you hear me saying "why you did that anwiii??" or "why did you do that deadmad??" i was only talking on ME how I seeing things. and i think i have the right of saying so, since it took me about at least an hour to write a post and another to upload and make sure that everything is fine and choosing the keywords for seo . after all, personally i won't mind if anyone asked me first before posting my article in his site. but doing that behind my back without even asking me, no. i won't accept that, and i remember that YOU yourself told me once to make sure that others won't steal my articles and if i knew that somebody did, i should pm him and ask him to add a link to the original one!! right?? any way, to make things clear i was stating my own opinion, that's all. hmmm and what this sentence suppose to mean?? i am confused now .

well, i think you should change the colors first. i mean the whole layout colors, they don't look so fit with each other, to do that the best way is by finding a color schema for your site. you could pick the most color you like in your site (like the color of the background, or the color of the sidebar, or the main content) and then browse for sites that give you ideas about the colors schema that will fit with your favorite color. this way you will know what colors you can mix them together and look fine in your site. and you will need a catchy logo, more professional and more interesting. and change the font color of the upper menu, to take the attention of the visitors. and the shadow of the main content should be till the edges or you can better remove it to look like the sidebar, because it looks cut off now. finally my forever rule add an interesting footer, that reflect you as the owner of the site. of course you can do more, but those for now may do a lot. good luck.

well, thanks for the explanation, i really may have a limited knowledge about the whole thing but i was telling judgments about those kind of people, who you mentioned as this is what i was talking about and considering it as unacceptable behavior. other than that, i didn't know that the writer i mean the owner of the article can do the same and spin his content. why, he would do that unless he has more than one website to post in. and this piece of information is new for me. and if he does that, then it is completely ethical since they are his articles from the first place, right??
