Now I am scared. anwii changing his mind? Did an alien crawl into your head and did something to it? Are you sure this is the best way to go? Please keep in mind that I haven't had any other opinions from other people just yet, and my backlinks aren't very good, as you may have noticed. I don't want you to get persuaded by my questions... But OK. So let's say that I keep things the way they are... Am I meant to change the title once I reach 20? By then, I "may" already have a moderate amount of readers... of course, they will go via my url and not my title, but I have to do the same thing all over again. Changing the name of links and all that, I mean. And I won't be able to change the trackbacks that I get from other people... well, not all of them, at least.I am not halfway through this road, and it is not too late to turn back. And you are right. If I am going to change, then I should change. NOW. But I don't know what I should do now.Are you sure you head is clear? It is rare to see anwii change his mind for some reason. Yes. I am afraid of change. I am also afraid of life, because life IS change. I won't deny that. I always had this problem. I left it for too long. And it is time to change the way I act in life. Why isn't anyone else replying? Anyway, let me reply to you first. About my domain... well, I only set it up so that I can use the domain as an email provider. And THEN... I made it so that people can see my graphics, because I didn't want my domain to go to waste ONLY as an email provider. After that, however, I tried to integrate my blog on a page and not the front page, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. And that was when YOU came in, and told me that I should put the blog on my front page. And that is how my blog became the blog it is today. It wasn't even meant to be serious. But now it is. It is a serious blog that updates regularly with crap seo by good content. It is a blog that I want to work on, and a blog that reveals my blog. My domain, what was meant to be nothing but a simple website or even just an email provider, became a serious blog that I have today. So no. You're correct. I didn't really think about it all that clearly. OK... so let's say that I AM going to do what you are telling me to do. So far, I've always done what you told me to do. But anyway. Here are some problems: 1. What will happen to the backlinks? 2. What will my domain be for now? 3. How am I meant to go to every thing that I put my blog on and change the name? 4. How am I meant to keep the people that ARE reading my blog? 5. How am I meant to tell the world that my domain has changed? 6. What domain am I meant to take? I did a search on "modern teenager". And you were right. Unfortunately, I am NOT going to be a modern teenager forever. You know that. I know that. I don't like that, but that is reality. SO.... how am I meant to keep the title? Keep up my seo? Nameless_ (is still waiting for other people's replies)

Hacking, Making Bots, And Programming? Help for a noob
Nameless_ replied to Nameless_'s topic in Programming
OK... Now I'm confused. Why does programming have to be so confusing??? OK. So basic is a language. I'll try that. But I'll also download the Python thing as well. And I will start learning and I won't give up. By the way, as anyone heard of igod? Search that up on google. You get to talk to a computer. But it's really cool. I know i will probably never be able to do anything like that, but it's still cool. I'm just going for simple bots though, similar to robs, but since I am not a chat addict, I want to start learning a language that can be used for multiple things, and not only for chat. By the way, anwii... what does basic do? I'd like to know where it takes me. -
Be patient. I think Tramposch is just a little bit busy lately. I mean, he is the only person doing all the Sig of the Week stuff, so you have to put that in mind. By the way, anyone. Does anyone have any criticism for me? No votes so far for me and I'd like to know where I can improve. I mean, improving is the only way to go if you don't have any votes, yes, but I still need your feedback guys.

Hacking, Making Bots, And Programming? Help for a noob
Nameless_ replied to Nameless_'s topic in Programming
OK... let me clarify a few things...Number one. HTML and XML are "markup" languages. OK... I have heard of that. What does it mean? I know that PHP is much more dynamic, and enables more things, as well as going into "databases"... something that I need to learn more on. Number Two. OK. I'll tell you what I know. I know HTML, XML, simple CSS and simple PHP. I mean, I know the basics, but if you told me to make them from scratch (make, because I don't know the other world for script when it's not scripting), I would be hopeless. I would also be hopeless if you told me to edit one big text file that is right in front of me.Number Three. OK. So I download things, and that is an interpreter. Got it. That's one thing down.Number Four. I need to know the difference between languages. So... HTML and XML, markup - whatever that is. PHP, Javascript is on another level. More dynamic? Allows simple funtions... And then it goes to Java, Python... into hacking and bots and stuff.... and then its C++, C#, C... I don't even know what that is. Probably building artificial intelligence of computers or something bizarre like that... am I right?Number five. ARRRRRGHH!!!!! I'm going crazy and crazy and crazy now. I need to get this right.OK. SO... I'll start with Python? -
How To Bypass/unblock Websites At Work And At School!
Nameless_ replied to deadmad7's topic in General Discussion
Haha... I seriously doubt that anyone will hold Xisto accountable for that, so don't worry. Anyhow, for some reason, the Xisto forum is blocked at school (but not the Xisto ones), and when we do access Xisto's pages, they are one of those old white pages instead. I don't know the difference between to two though. Can someone tell me that? Well, I'm definitely trying it. I'll see if it works. Some people had a way to making it work, but I don't know how they did it. Anyway, they now have a system of freezing your computer if you log in as "admin", so I don't know how I'm going to hack into it, though people did manage to unblock to filtering system. The thing is, it's not only Facebook or MSN or Bebo. It's all the other educational websites as well. We were requires to search for flags of the world once, and tell you what, ALL the sites were blocked because they were "uncategorised". Seriously. That is just WAAAY too much. Plus, I don't have anything for Facebook or other sites anyway, as I don't use theri service. I don't even play games... so seriously, what's the point of the filter? -
Actually, this sucks a lot now. If I am going to really go with the change of domain on my blog and everything that anwii recommends... then seriously, this is a big problem for me. I won't be able to edit all the backlinks that I have here on Xisto, merely because I cannot edit any of my posts at all. :DUnless I can get a mod to change it for me instead though.

Yeah, I have been raising my backlinks for a while. Hmm... If it's a "Modern" blogger, then I don't think the Blogger is needed. Maybe just "Philosophical Blog" would be nice. And Modern *my name here* is just plain weird. I really don't know who would call themselves that. I've been looking for link exchanges, and so far... well, I've only got one in my blogroll, but so far, I don't think any blog has met my requirements to be put onto my blogroll. Now I'm scared. And I'm scared of what? I'll be truthful. I'm scared of change. I'll tell you why. 1. I have received a number of comments from people that ARE from the philosophical field. If I change my domain, they won't be able to find it. 2. I have made some good backlinks. If I changed my domain, they will all be lost as well. 3. I will wreck up my change of domain name. 4. I will wreck everything. - including pages and all that. the links, I mean. 5. I will have to go to all the blog directories and change everything. 6. I will have to go to all the forums and change everything. 7. I am scared of change. 8. I want to get my name out. (A selfish purpose?) 9. I don't understand how Steve Pavlina made his blog so popular without naming his blog that has something to do with personal development and I would like to see if I can do the same, though I understand that I will probably fail. 10. I have more points but they take too long to write and they have temporarily escaped from my head. Yes, philosophy does have it's own branches, but I dwell in everything philosophical. But I like your suggestion, and I will consider it. For now, however, I would like to see what anwii has to say to my points and I would also like to see other people's suggestions on my dilemma.

Hacking, Making Bots, And Programming? Help for a noob
Nameless_ replied to Nameless_'s topic in Programming
Yes, that means I was a few years ahead of you when I tried to start dabbling in that, but I guess I'm going serious from now on... which makes me... a few days earlier than you. But anyway. OK. I will start with hacking, perhaps? As well as creating simple bots. Like those bots in IRC channels or something like that. After that, I'll work on decaptha-ing and probably by then I will be pro. And I'll keep it simple then grow from there. I guess the easiest way is to join hacking and building communities (I know one that's rather famous... I went in and got past two levels of hacking and then I failed. ) But thanks. I really want to work on this. hmm... I did try. I know that Python is one of the best programming languages out there, but getting a book from my library on Python? They are all very complicated and they don't even tell you what Python is. I don't understand though. For some reason, you have to "download" Python. I don't understand that. I mean, as it is a programming language, should you just script it yourself? Why do you have to download it? Also, can someone tell me the difference between scripting languages? I know that HTML is for website, and I think that XML is the more secure form of HTML, while CSS gives style and form. Now... I don't really understand the difference between PHP and Javascript/Java. I mean, for html, you only have to write this (yes, this is the first time I have ever used code tags): <html><body><p> Hello World! (Or whatever. I don't know why they always use "Hello World!". It's really weird.</p></body></html> While for PHP, it's so weird. You give the same output, but it is much more complicated. I mean, what's the point? <html> <body> <?php echo "Hello Xisto"; ?> </body> </html> And that's the difference. I don't know why you have to bother with php and things like that when HTML does the job. But anyway... I don't know where to start. I don't think there are beginner books on programming. Unless I go to a uni. But I'm too young. And I have no interest in website and programming for my future career. And now it's a bit too long. I want to continue writing, but I'll wait until someone comes along and post a reply first. (I just don't want to use other people's scripts without knowing how to make my own). -
Hello people. I guess it comes to a point where I feel guilty about using other people's coding and resources (even if it is open source), and I would like to dwell into the world of hacking, programming and making bots. NOT for illegal reasons, but just merely for the sake of education. It would be great to know that I did a working bot or a program or hacked into something (legal, maybe ethical hacking?) that I did myself with no help from others.I mean, look at my website. It's full of PHP, html, CSS... and lots of things that I only did a bit to enhance and change, but the core isn't made by me. And I would like to be an expert in that area and actually know how to script properly. I know that there are a lot of good programmers in this forum, and therefore, I am crying for help. (Lots of help threads from me these days, huh?)I think I should start with making a simple bot. Maybe a autoresponse thing on Chat or something like that. You put in an input and you get something out. Or I don't know. The problem with starting is that you don't know where to start. All the hackers and programmers are nowhere in between. They are either experts, or total noobs like me. Or cheaters that as experts to help them. :(And I just want to have more knowledge on this topic. Life is an forever learning process and this is something I find very useful. So... where do I start?Cheers

Hello... may I have some help? Recently... well, for a long time, I have changed my blog's name into my current signature. However, I will have to change it in a few years time, as I will no longer be a teenager. Even if I am in my early stages of being a teenager, I do not intend to die early and be a teenager for the rest of my life, and it may lose all it's SEO when I change the name. So... I have a question. Should I change my blog's name, and into what? Can someone help me? I need a title that is best for SEO, and tells what the website is about. :)I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now, but hopefully I'll be able to figure it all out. Thanks, Nameless_, the no longer nameless member of Xisto.

No, to me, I do not believe that the world will end on that day. To me, it is just a speculation of humans. Ask the Mayan people, and they won't even know what you are talking about. They don't even know that there is a "End of the World" thing in their calendar. It is just a myth that people created from their ignorance of what it means. Also, I don't see the bible saying anything about the world ending, so maybe you should take a look at that? The point is, the world won't end of that day. The world doesn't JUST end. It is a build up of continuous things that we humans do that make the earth tip. 21 12 2012: The day the world will change for ever <----- Take a look at this.

Hmm... OK, that's great. I'm still trying to figure out a way to earn some money off my blog without spamming it full with ads and make the whole thing look spammy. It looks OK to me now, but I don't think it will soon. And other than making money via making a website, are there any other making money techniques that I can use? Like Internet Marketing or something else like that?

New Template Design For Gfxtrap.com
Nameless_ replied to BuffaloHelp's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
This is sad... it feels like I haven't done anything at all. Apart from giving my criticism. Anyway... keep up to good work, and if anyone needs graphics from me, let me know!!! :)Cheers -
Hey Bani!!! Congratulations on your site. I guess it's going very well. I think it would be better if you took away the shiny, angelic feel of your site though. I think it's the gradient that's the problem. I makes your site seem angelic. The black banner at the bottom would be better of as a more solid banner as welll. Other than that... I have no comments. Nameless_i'll leave it up to the experts. :D

Hello... people!!! I guess I'm going in circles, over and over and over again. It's a never ending circle with NO solutions whatsoever. For me, that is. But anyway, today, I am opening this new thread, where I hope I can post my questions on how to make money online for charity purposes and all that, as well as getting a steady income over a period of time, that does NOT include useless making money sites like PTCs at all. :PFeel free to comment. Currently, I am stuck on GDI, but thanks to a Dr. Phil Wannabe member, I am led astray from this path. I don't know if it is a good thing of a bad thing, but I guess trying out the seven day trial thing wouldn't hurt. But then, I still don't know what domain I should get, even if it's for the 7 day trail. :DI am hoping that I will be able to get a steady stream of income that isn't like, pennies, and it seems to me that most of the members here are rather, if I might say, experienced, in this field... and this forum is also very friendly and helpful. I owe you a lot. So please don't mind if I add some more owe-ing into the pot of nameless debts that I have already. Feel free to comment, and give suggestions in making a proper money making income? Thanks a lot!!!

No... it certianly isn't the best extension in the world. Also, like you said, it is hard to promote. I see that you are not into GDI, Anwii. Nevertheless, I would like to see what other members in this forum have in this topic. Nameless_
-
Anwii, to tell you the truth, I agree that the GDI market is very very saturated, and .com is still the biggest domain extension. HOWEVER, on this note, I've got an upline that is willing to teach me, though most don't, and well, while they take a long time to answer my questions, I suppose many people have been quite successful in GDI. Also, my upline has also found a site that is "meant" to be quite good in making money. It does look like a scam site, but my upline has said that he receives a check every month, while for MY case, I only recieve a few buck every FEW months. I think that normal PTCs are just not the way to go, and it is best if I went into something else, like GDI or other MLM markets for example. What do you think? Also, there's the 7 day trial. I can still delete if if I haven't recieved any signups in the first 7 days? So... what kind of domain should I buy?
-
Why? Why you? I cannot imagine a life without you!!! PLEASE!!! Please, don't leave!!! It is so sad to see such a long membered, loyal to Xisto person go, and I mean, it's only the edit thing!!! I happens to anyone! Why do you have to go just for that? I don't understand. I believe that it IS a very very bad inconvenience, but seriously, it is nothing more than that. I makes my heart break to know that a loyal member that came to Xisto three years ago is now leaving us. Please don't go!!! I don't understand why the edit thing means so much to you!!!! I am so sad now. Xisto has just lost one very valuable member. All the new members coming here are all spammers and all that. Grrr. Hopefully Xisto won't become a spamming place for spammer.
-
haha... thanks a lot. What do you mean? For the thisisnotascam site? Because that is plain HTML, with no use of CMSs or anything, I don't know how to make a login thing, and I don't think I have any use for a login module in that site anyway. If you are talking about my main Philosophy Site, then it already has a login thing, though I have now figured a way to enable Guest commenting UNDER THEIR NAMES. It's to encourage people to leave a comment on my site.

Hello people, I am thinking of investing in GDI, an affliate marketing system. It's $10 a month, and I need to promote it and get people to join. What kind of domain should I get? There are, of course, the normal ones that people like to grab, like art.ws and all that, but when I went to art.ws, it is actually a money making promotion thing. The other option is to get a spammy one, like makemoneyfast.ws or something like that, but I don't know which one to get.I am looking for good advice from Xisto. Can anyone help me? I haven't made a help thread for a very, very long time... :DCheers, Nameless_

I am not really sure, but I really really liked your sig, deadmad7. It was really good, and it was a very very close vote, I'll tell you that. Keep up the good job!!! Nameless_

At dlnbblc, IF YOU ARE ONLY HERE JUST TO PROMOTE YOUR REFERRAL LINKS, THEN PLEASE LEAVE. THIS FORUM DOES NOT TOLERATE SPAMMING, AND IF YOU HAVE READ THE RULES, THEN YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT NO REF LINKS ARE ALLOWED. Sorry, I just hate spammers SO much. I've had enough of them. OK... at Jade. I have joined clickbank recently, but I still haven't tried it out fully yet. I am thinking of investing in a few sites, and I will send you some sites that I use and some that I don't but I am pretty sure that they are legitimate, and you can see if you are interested in them. There is also an affliate marketing site that is rather popular, and I have a site that can get you started if you want. However, I am still into it, so I will tell you about it IF you are interested and I will do my best to help you out as I can. Like mahesh2k said, those sites are one of the most popular ones, but if you are really into it, then you will have to be your own boss. To earn more money, however, you need to USE money, and that is the problem. I started out with nothing, earned some money from nothing, and now I am thinking of investing in different sites. I'm trying to be a money maker like you, but it is just to host my blog, support Xisto and donate all my earnings to charity. And it is better than playing games, I suppose. But anyway, check out the sites that mahesh2k gave you, PM me if you want to be your own boss, or something like that, and I will try and help you out, though I am learning myself. Cheers, Nameless_

Haha... nah, it seems like the nameless is a paranormal freak like me as well, though I don't think he's very active... hmm... Did I scare him away? I hope not. I don't do that just because someone likes me name... :)But anyway, he did post in a few spiritual threads... maybe it's because no one replied to them... Maybe I should, if I can find it.

New Template Design For Gfxtrap.com
Nameless_ replied to BuffaloHelp's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
To me, it's still a little too plain for a gfx site. It's mostly text and no sigs. Like I said, maybe we should change the background or something? See deviantart for some ideas. I suggest you put a very big default graphic up in a corner or something, to make it look good. It's just very plain... Maybe little icons or something that go back to home, sig competitions and something on the top as a navigational banner would be great. It depends though, as those image will most likely look pixelated and doesn't suit the design of the gfxtrap site.
