Hi people:Let me cut the introduction short, as I am sick of it now. Whenever I post on my blog, I always have to manually change the post settings, because I want the first post to be on unlimited (no teaser), and all my other posts to be limited and be in a teaser view. That is why whenever I post on my blog, I have to go back to the previous post and edit the post settings, and then go back to the first post if the settings are set on limited, to change it back to UNlimited.Do you really understand what I mean?You can look at my blog in my signature for more information if you don't understand.What I am looking for, however, is a module or a script thing or something that will automatically change the post settings of my blog, without me having to do anything. So whenever I write something, I... well, it will automatically make the newest post with NO teaser, and the previous post that was unlimitedly long into 800 words limited.For those of you who use drupal, you would know what I am talking about.Also...I have a thing on RSS. It seems like my rss feeds are based on how my blog looks, so the first post is always unlimitedly long. However.... I dont want that.While I want the first post on my blog unlimitedly long, I don't want it to be the same in the RSS feeds, and I wan everything to be in teasers.How can I change that? So that it will actually work? because people checking their rss feeds will not be happy to find me big and long post thing spamming their whole entire page. I think... that is is very good. But I think that you should have your blog in only ONE niche. I mean, your articles are good, but because it covers a lot of different subjects, it won't make a good impact. For example, someone that is interested in helping world natural disasters will NOT come back to your site, as you have ONLY ONE article that can be seen on it, and that is Haiti. On the other hand, computer geeks and nerds looking for information will not come to your site again as well, because only half of the articles are related to computers. Philosophical geeks (like me) will not come back, because there are irrelevant informaion like Haiti and computer stuff with we usually have absolutely no interest in.And that's where I would start first.I mean, keep your content, but you should set only one area as your niche and perhaps people will come and look at your blog more often. :):)Good luck and cheers! But anyway... since I don't think I will get anything this time, I did a very fast and crappy job of it. But anyway. My first animation sig ever. got into animating as someone was willing to pay me to do some graphics for them for their site. Won't be much, but he's my first client, I think. By the way... you have to click on it. The thumbnail doesn't look good, because it's not working good. But once you click on it it should clear up.

The only thing that I can say is... EEEEWWW. That is disgusting. Whether it is human bred or mutated... well, I don't think it should be killed, but it really is... well, it just very very freaky. Hmm... just wondering. Because obviously, if it does affect SEO, then people can create lots of gmail account making bots and all put their sites at the top, don't you think? But anyway, a quick search on the internet and it seems like it has been in place since 2008. So I guess I'm just a slow person. Haha. At Zagabuda: I suppose this forum has it's ups and downs. For a while this forum is very high with lots of posts and replies, but before that, it was dead as fish. And this is the newbie season, I think. Lots of newbies and all the old members ran away. I'm very sad. Because all of my mentors ran away too, it seems. But anyway. Perhaps Xisto should find a way to actually make old members stay. Because when I joined, we only had a bunch of new but not so new one month or two months old members, and basically very very few loyal old members that has been using Xisto for a lot of years. But I guess it cannot be helped. I mean, seriously, Opaque taking away the edit feature has made not only one, I think but lots of members run away from this forum. I guess he thinks he is doing to right job, but I think we still have the right to edit it. Hey people... this forum seems dead lately. I don't know why, but all the old members in this forum seems to have ran away. I'm rather sad, so I thought I should post something new and hopefully get this forum alive again. This is the question: What is the point of the small buttons next to Google results? Hmm. I don't know if you guys see it. Maybe you don't if you don' t log in into Gmail. But anyway. So... I was logging in, right, and I went to search on Google. And I found that... on the results page... there are like, Three little buttons where you can comment on the web pages and "promote" it and "comment" stuff. So, I searched for "meaningless birthdays", and the philosophical post that I wrote came up first, and when I pressed the "promote" bottom (next to "cached"), nothing happened. Well, maybe it's because it's already at the top of the search engine, so I went to search for something else. So I found another page... it was something to do with categories on my site. Ah... I found it. The category for the meaning of life on my site. And it wasn't ranked first. So when I pressed promote, it went all the way to the top of the page. Now... my question is: I don't understand. Is this like a bookmark thing that Google has so that your favourite pages for this particular topic will always come first? Does it affect your SEO in the long term? So... let's say if lots of people promoted this link, will it gradually become first in the search engine results? I know it's rather hard to explain... but I swear it is there. Haven't noticed it before, but once you do, it isn't hard to find it. Does anyone have any experience with this feature on Google, and can someone tell me more about it? Thanks, Nameless_

Hmm... thanks for the reply, guys. I mean, the only way that I make money online now is working on a certain PTC business that pays 0.25 dollars per click and pays out at 60 clicks. It's really cool, but that is only because I don't have any other ways to earn money online. I get around $15 bucks per month and that is all. I think that is enough to host my blog, but I still need more for other ways to earn money online and stuff.

Oh no. Don't get me started. The whole entire school was crazy about it last year. Thankfully, I am not into games, though occasionally, one or two of them will catch my attention (the games), and I will end up looking over someone's shoulder. But it was at the end of the year and stuff. Did you have to buy the game? We have lots of games on our sharing directory, and often one or two people with lots of games will put them on and it it's a good game a new gaming epidemic will appear.The latest on was Plants vs Zombies. It was horrible. Everyone would be playing that and I don't even know why people are addicted. To tell you the truth, I prefer the battlefield online game called Pox nora. It's like chess, but only better, with animation and stuff. The aim is to kill the tower and win, but while it's grid like, it have a proper battlefield where your minions can go sideways and stuff. You overturn cards and you can put them on the field.It's really worth playing. The only bad thing is that each game takes a long time, and as it's a multiplayer game, you better make sure that you have enough time on your hands. Because if you remain idle long enough, the opposing player will win. But it's a really good game with good graphics. It's better than RS. :(But then it's a strategy, not action or whatever. Still. I love it. It's the only good strategy game I know out there. With excellent graphics.

@eddygavin: I know of a great PTC business that doesn't scam people and actually pays well. It's the only thing that gave me my $30 bucks in my account in two months. Other than that... well, as you can see, I'm still finding other ways to make money online. I can't rely solely on that PTC business, can I? That is great!!! But the point is, I don't think I have anything to sell. And I have to ask for permission first. Plus, this isn't making money from nothing. It's making money from the stuff I have at home. I don't think my parents will approve though. But I like the domain suggestions. I believe that eBay is a great way to sell online. But only if you have something to sell. If you don't? Well... I guess I just have to stick to affliate marketing and other stuff. Still working on it.

I agree with you there mahesh2k. It just got me wondering. Did Opaque did that just because I made the Creative Commons thread and wanted to take down three posts of mine from Xisto? I'm terribly sorry to everyone if it was me that make Opaque did that, but I seriously think that Opaque should really give us the right to delete our own content. Seriously, if Opaque really did that just because of that thread. Then I am really really angry. (angry smiley here. I don't know how to put that in).Grr. I mean. Seriously. I understand if Opaque doesn't want us to edit our posts because of the myCENTS problem. But can't we delete our content? I mean, we'll just get negative mycents and stuff!!! So? I use webmail. I configured the MX entries and after that, I'm now using Gmail for my personal emails. Of course, some very very trusted people in this forum are allowed access to my personal email as well. I'm trying to set up a contact from on my blog so that they can contact me without knowing my email, and I will choose whether to reply to them or not, but it's pretty hard. Anyway, I'll have to set up a separate email account just for that.

Hey Me_89, I can really see that you are very very very very very distressed. Feel free to talk to me anytime or PM me if you need help. But there is one thing that I really have to get through to you. DO NOT spend your whole entire life waiting for someone else. He does not deserve it, and neither do you. If he doesn't care about you, then fine. I am not sure if it is because of sex, but there are many factors to go into. He might have had a new crush, or someone else that he liked. Or he may be having an affair, or like you suspected, had sex with someone else. Either way, one thing is clear: He no longer likes you as much as he used to, and he no longer cares for you as much as he used to. I understand how you feel. It is hard to breakup with someone when you have been with him for a long time. I guess it is because (perhaps) you are already his? When you weren't with him, of course, he would beg for you to go with him. But once you say yes, it is one thing done and he can no longer care for you, because you cannot just say no and pretend that nothing happened. But when he say he will call, do NOT hang around the phone just for him. As I said, he does not deserve it. And you shouldn't do that for him. You have a life. Go enjoy it. HE has a life. He IS enjoying it. And forgetting about you in the process. If you don't like him anymore, then ditch him. It will be hard on you, I know. Well, I suppose you can just assume that Xisto pays out with punctuation, length of posts, and BBcoding. That is what I assume. But really, many paid to post sites don't tell you as well. That is their secret. That is why some people earn more and some people less without even knowing it. I mean, if most Paid to Post sites don't tell you, then does that mean you are going to quit? I think not. To me, I don't think it matters whether Xisto tell you how much you earn anyway. So far, it's taking $10 of me a year for domain purposes, but like anwii, I have nearly $250, and it is more than what I need. Xisto has become more like a place to learn, and a place to get suggestions instead of a place to earn myCENTS. I agree that Xisto may sometimes seem mysterious, but if it works, then it's fine for me. It's no scam. You and I both know that, so I guess we can put our trust in Xisto.Either way... I will try to convince you to stay, but really, they are just words on a screen. It is up to you. But let me tell you this: I will still be sad to see you go.

Like anwii... WOW. Of course, I didn't really know about Google censoring searches in China though. But I mean, it's a good thing for Google, as Google will lose their reputations if those complaints keep coming in. Why in the world are they censoring stuff anyway? I don't understand the Chinese government. It's lucky I don't live in China.Seriously, Google did the right thing, and the millions were worth it. I mean, Google's reputation was at stake as well. It's not only money. By the way, if it's only Google.cn filtering, then why doesn't China people use Google.com.au or Google.com.us or something like that? I don't understand. Anyway. China is just distorting the thing that you know... well, the whole communism thing. The we are one thing and we go together thing. The people decide together, and they share together. No. Don't take this wrong. I don't intend to learn C, C++ or C# anytime soon. I just want to make a simple bot and get into simple hacking. That's all. So I think I'll start with Basic and Python. I think that's all I need right now, and I can learn other stuff when I need to. I know a bit of PHP. I'm just a bit muddled with the variable function, but I guess that will come in time.
