I personally use Safari, both because I have a Macintosh computer AND because it's the default browser... It's pretty good, I suppose, though I hate it when they couldn't "find the server"... Other browsers don't have that type of problem. The only reason why I like it is because when you got to a certain site lots and lots of times, they "bookmark" it by putting on a screen shot of it, and I think that that's pretty good.I don't really know about the other though... but anyway... I have tried Fire fox before... It's not that good in my opinion. I haven't tried Google Chrome though. I just think that Google is trying too hard to expand their audience and earn lots and lots of money. They just put ads everywhere, and I don't like it at all... (notice how they even embbeded ads onto the videos on Youtube??? I reckon the video makers should be given credit for that and be given a portion of their profits...)So I'm like, against Google Chrome. But for me, I prefer the default browser on each different computers respectively, Safari on Mac and Internet Explorer on Windows.

Well... you gave me links... but I still don't understand... And I didn't get a word that you just said... We talked about www??? I don't remember that... and I only know that search engines finds it harder to index your site and give you a good rank if you domain is actually a subdomain, but I don't know anything about the www... Nor why a site does badly with lots of redirect domains...
-
Wow... nice. How do you, I mean, can you even see the words on the screen? With the keyboard like, sitting ten metres away??? Nice room though. It's like controlling a TV with a mouse ten metres away... But anyway... I like it.

Well, this is because there are lots more cheaper paid hosting out there, for Unlimited Diskspace, Bandwidth, AND they also provide you with a free top=level domain name... What more could you want? What I know is that Xisto isn't the best hosting service out there... there are more cheaper hosting methods that provide more to their users than Xisto does.... but I would like to use Xisto first as the springboard of my site and once I begin to earn enough on a regular basis for my site to be coined as "self-supported", meaning it earns more than enough for one of those cheap hosting plans, so that I make a profit I can reduce my costs of hosting it and move it to a paid hosting site so I don't have to worry about posting to host, but only generating enough good content on a regular basis to keep making the same amount of money. :( Yeah, I suppose so... The answer is "Yes" to my question, But no one really answered WHY a site does badly in SEO if you have lots of redirect sites... Which is the main question right now... Especially if Google or any other search engine like Yahoo! and Bing doesn't index it.

Yeah... I suppose... and I see that you are very active too, like me... :lol:You'd be a great blogger, I would reckon. We should learn from each other in making a blog, since they are both our same goals...

Hey akira500!!! I can't believe no one has replied to your thread already!!!Anyway, I'll be the first... I believe that you've already signed up at Xisto's Support and Billing Centre... That's really good. And you've got more than 5 posts... so all you've got to do is to wait for the myCENTS thing to start earning myCENTS!!!And yeah... don't copy stuff from other websites because that means that you'll get a warning and if a mod moves, edits or delete your posts then you will lose myCENTS... oh yeah, you'll lose myCENTS too in you edit your posts yourself....But happy posting (and hosting)!!!

Hmm??? Cool... Yeah well, I am thinking of changing hosts when my site (which isn't up yet) earns enough to get transferred to a cheap paid hosting site... But yeah... Wow... mahesh2k asking for help for the first time ever? I'm surprised... though I would like to see that too... I like forums and you never know... I might actually need it one day... :(

What I mean is if I have a lot of redirection domain names that Google (or any other search engine like Bing and Yahoo, of course) haven't indexed yet it will still do badly in SEO... Which is sad because if this wasn't the case then I'd be like, hogging what ever domain name's available... (But then, who wouldn't?)And don't worry, I think I found a good domain name, though it doesn't have "psychic" in it, but "psionic"... the reason for this is that well, I don't think that I'd do well with all the competition, and I am looking specifically for people that already know what "psionics" are, or something like that, and not for random psychics to read them,And also in Wikipedia it said that the term "psychic" also means cold reading and stuff, which is also another term for "fake reading"... So for example, if you are to cold read someone, you don't exactly have to be psychic. And this is what you do...You: "I see the number 9.... yes, it's very clear..."Person: "Huh? Nine?"You: "Yes... Nine, or October, or anything related to the number..."Person: *bites lips* "My brother died on October..."So you are just faking it, not really knowing what you are doing and the person provides all the information... Which isn't what I want my site to be about. My site is self-development... so yeah.. :lol:And OK, I'll have a look at the SEO thing... :PI'll see if I can find anything useful again. But I still want to be a domain hogger... :(I don't get it. Why would you do badly by attaching a domain name that no one will ever know on your site be a bad thing for SEO??? I mean, that's just waiting for people to stumble upon your site, but not exactly using it!!!

Wow... your sites are like... so cool... I thought forums take up a lot of space? SO you'll have to earn around $50 to keep them up, not to mention the domain names and the elochai productions.... I like it so much though... and I like you idea of the elochai productions... It's very cool. Yeah... And the forums ARE active.... incredible. I've seen forums trying hard to be active and nothing works....
-
Nice one... A bit too long, perhaps? I would like to see your sites though... looks really cool. Are they all hosted by Xisto? How do you keep up with all that posting??? Really cool though... And oh... I never knew that automated bots can steal your domain names... Lucky I didn't type anything up yet, apart from the newstack thing, but that doesn't really matter since it's not very important right now at the moment.

Hey domguan!!! Welcome to Xisto!!! Like you, I will be utilizing Xisto's services to host my first blog ever. I'm new to all this web-site building myself, and I've been here for two months posting to earn the amount needed to host a site. Currently I've got more than enough myCENT credits to host one, but I just don't know hoe to start one, as I'm not the nost web-savvy person. But anyway... did my posts draw you in? I'd be very happy if I did. I think I drew lots of Lockerz users too with my one post about that site... and yeah... Can't wait to see you set up your site!!! But first things first. Go to Xisto and sign up for their services there. Xisto is just one of their networks. They have another forum called the Xisto. Post at least 5 posts (I can see that you already have 4, so that one more can be you replying to your own thread, this one), and wait a bit. It should be up in no time... Then you can begin posting!!! (You'll see a red myCENTS under your name). Also, remember to sign up at Xisto with the same email as you did here. The email provides the link between the two and after 100 myCENTS you get credited 1US dollar, which is pretty easy. Good luck!

I am specifically talking about psychic powers directly related to ones mind. I am interested in the potential of our human brain power, and someone has coined this "psionics", though not many people know this term. So I might be using "psychic" in my domain name instead, though the competition will be higher and more hard to reach to the front page, I will (hopefully) get more traffic writing on "psionics" instead. Also, my blog will also have things on psychology and philosophy, because I'm interested in that as well... so I can put that in the off topic section, or I can also link that to my in-topic site. My site will be a blog... which MIGHT include a forum once the activity gets up, though I don't see that in the near future anytime soon at all. Um... It will have a "psionics" section, which is purely on the mind powers, how to development and information on them, it will have a "psychic" section, on the use of tools like Tarot Cards ( I don't believe in Crystals), thought it won't be a huge section of the site, It WILL have things to do with the Paranormal, which includes Ghosts and Spirits and "haunted" places like the Bermuda Triangle, and it will have a Off-Topic Section, which isn't exactly off topic (or maybe), but it will include book reviews on psychic phenomena, my personal experiences and / or osychic diary, other psychic links and all that, and random computer stuff or the usual what-not. And lots of subtle ads, like affliate book selling ads and stuff, google ads that blend in and all that... I need to keep up my hosting when it gets over the limit of diskspace and bandwidth. Um... for Youtube... and least it's better than nothing... And sidebar for ads, and maybe a feedback form so I know what to change and all that stuff. Please brainstorm some names for me!!! :(

What??? Even if Google doesn't index your site it does badly in SEO??? But my brains stuck for ideas on what to call my site WITH the key words... "psychic" or "psionic", preferably "psychic" because even if I have more competition, not many people know the term "psionics".Oh yeah... I couldn't find anything on the sites that you gave me, though I think that SEOmoz is a really good take to bookmark and keep it away for later use.So, can someone give me ideas on what to call my site? Not too long, Not too short, and preferably with some key words in it.

Well, I think there are a lot of downtimes though... I mean, the site's not down or anything, you just can't order the package... but it's pretty good... and nah... I think I'll go on the safe side and PM you... I've actually seen the name being taken down before in one of the web hosting reviews, and I think that it's pretty stupid considering you are writing a review on a site that's name cannot be shown on the public forums.... Both the name AND the URL. I think that Xisto just don't want any competitors... but anyway. I'll PM it to you and I'll see what you think. The members websites are like. PRO... and there's way more and lots and lots of members than ours.... Forums incredibly active, and the websites are just so much cooler than the ones that we have on our site... I haven't seen -Sky-'s gaming website though, but they're sites are really really good... well, better than our ones. (I'll PM you).
-
Well, er... I was hoping to put the key words "psychic" or "psionics" in them... probably linking lots and lots and lots of free domain names onto it, and buying one top-level premium domain name (preferably with a .com extension) onto the site, which will be the actual site that google will store in their database, and the rest be just be waiting for random people trying out random names and all that and "stumble upon" my site.... Which will be really cool. And I might start making some videos on Youtube and stuff, because you videos get viewed very quickly on Youtube, get known, and advertise my site their too!!! (The videos will be on psychic phenomena stuff, of course... Which will be really really cool....) But yeah.... The problem isn't finding a domain name for my site that is free, the problem is finding a TOP_LEVEL premium domain name that is .com that is free (even the .net ones are taken, and I have no intention of buying any other domain extension domain names...) Can you people give me ideas on what to call my site? I don't know... what will you type if you were searching for psychic phenomena??? And stuff like that?
-
Oh OK... right. Yes.... a job position that is listed on Craiglist on trying samples... darn, if it's 18+, then I don't think I'll be allowed. But it's only testing products!!! (And keeping them, of course!!!!)
-
No, I won't give them the fake address... I'll give them the REAL address. But if someone types in a similar address, it will go straight to my site, without me telling them that my site has a fake address in the first place. So Google will not store the fake address in their database. They will probably not even know that there is a fake address with my site. They will only store the REAL address in their database, and it will be yeah... So people will search lots of psychic related terms on free hosting domains, and they won't know that they all redirect to my site. But Google will only store the .com domain... I hope it works like this... Like Gmail... it actually directs to mail.google or something like that. OK... more brainstorming sessioning then... I don't know what to call my site!!! If it was a free domain provider it will be much much much more easier because the key words won't be taken!!! Argh!!!
-
I am new to Craiglist... and I don't know where to start... can I get a job there? Even if I'm probably like, underage? And I was just looking through the jobs and stuff... and there was a sample testing one. Are they genuine? And I trust it?How do I get a job there?Yeah well... and has anyone actually received their payment through Craiglist? Because I don't think there's any point in doing that if no one has.
-
No, just the layout of the site.... I put a hyperlink here. The funny thing is, the domain provider isn't even top domain, and yet the site owner pays for it.... I really don't know why anyone would do that... but anyway... I'll go for free domain first and then see if I can upgrade it to top level domain once I figure out what to call it!!! Yes... this is a psychic blog that is earning money, more than enough to keep up my hosting, and the layouts pretty good, but could do with some changes... the thing is, you can tell that he is just doing it for the commercial thing... there are other psychic blogs out there that try to earn money don't have as many commercial stuff on it. I might want to reduce that a bit... or not... but either way, I would want my blog to look like that, though the site owner might be using a premium (paid) theme because I haven't seen it before... but yeah. And oh yeah... it's my turn to ask the question: Why does redirect not Search Engine (SE) friendly? I'm still going for the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) thing, and I'm not really sure how to make a site or blog SE friendly... I understand that copying won't be SE friendly, and bad for SEO, but redirection!? What!!! Why can't I hog like, lots and lots of domains???
