What Would You Do If You Became The World's Richest Person?
Nameless_ replied to The Simpleton's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, it's pretty true (and sad too), that money makes the world go round and that people still live their lives trying to get rich. I mean, what's the point? Let's say that you have all the money in the world. Then seriously, there is really no point in earning any more money because well, number one, you've got lots of money already, in fact, you've got ALL the money in the whole wide entire world so the point is you can't even get one more cent from anyone in the world because you've already have the last cent that anyone could possibly have. So, what's the point, I say?I don't know, I personally think that people get satisfied when numbers go up. Technically, when numbers go up because of them, and even more technically, when number that can be used to give them pleasure and comfort and enables their survival goes up because of them.So even if you have all the money that you could possibly ever need to use in your whole entire life (a man can only have a certain and limited amount of palaces, pools, and Plasmas TVs), you would still want to earn more, and hey... your children won't need to earn as much too, nor does your grand children, or your great grand children, and so on and so on.But of course, this is a totally different matter if you don't have children in the first place. Then why earn so much? If you are intending to give all your money to charity like the Salvation Army and the Red Cross, then I congratulate you and I would say that you are a very kind and generous person. But please, be realistic. As far as I am concerned, all the rich people in this world like Bill Gates and stuff (this thread was created because of the Bill Gates thread in the other forum, right?) aren't earning money for charity. They are just earning money for themselves. For goodness sake, even if you are earning a lot of money for your children (I don't know whether Bill Gates has any children or not), seriously, if they have never experienced what it is like to be poor, then they will just lavishly spend all their money on random things like games and stuff and use up a lot of your money in not time.So I really think that all the money should go to charity...But if I was the richest person in the whole wide world, then I would give fifty percent of the money (profits) to my parents, because they have lived a hard life bringing me up and all that, and I have absolutely no way to fully say thank you to them and compensate (in money terms) or make up for all that they have done for me, give around 30% of my profits to charity (I'll spread it out to many different charity organizations like Salvation Army and Oxfam, spreading them out according to the needs of children), use 10% of the money to create my own charity organization (the 30% and the 10% used for charity is interchangable), and just use the remaining ten percent on myself and my family, and I believe that that would also teach my children (if I will ever have any) to be generous and be kind and thoughtful for all the third world country children out there that are only living on less than $1 per day. This is what I would do... :PBut seriously, in reality, I think that the only people that ever get rich are the greediest people that don't exactly want the give their money to charity. But really, if I get rich, this is what I will do, considering that the ten percent is enough to support my life, of course (this is most certainly the case in Bill Gate's life though... :P ) -
Hmm... really? Then maybe it is the browser/OSX issue, though I really doubt it though... But I mean, if this is the case, shouldn't it be happening to me on every forum that I go to? And yet this is not the case. Only Xisto, which happens to be my most active in participating forum does that to me... Oh well... I don't know what to do then... Perhaps change the browser settings? Though I really don't know what to change though... Everything seems right to me...

Thanks rvalkass. I haven't exactly gone through all your instructions, though I must say that the deletion of the top menu heading was very successful, though I would really rather prefer if I could keep the buttons in the same position with out the words, but that's not a main problem right now... What I'm stuck on is finding a theme that allows me to have both the top menu navigational links and the two level navigational links at the bottom. (If this is impossible, I wouldn't mind drop down menus.). I have downloaded the "Zen" theme and installed it onto Drupal, but it wasn't as "simple" and "easy" to configure as I thought, and I keep finding myself prefering the default "Garland" theme instead, though I can't install another navigational bar under the header. And I've found a way to change my logo, so that's very good... it's just that, I don't know. You know the "bread crumb" module thing? If only I could replace that with the navigational module then that'd be great. But yeah, I couldn't find one single theme that would suit my needs, and it would be great too if the "Garland" theme actually left the sides blank so I can put in a "feedback" tab that many blogs have, such as this one: This was found on the actual Drupal site on one of the forums, this is the link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ And you can kinda tell that they are using the Garland theme, though how they managed to find space for the tab, I am very confused, and I would like to have space like that, so my theme will be a mix of the Garland theme AND the Minnelli theme, though that's not the main problem now. The main problem is finding a theme that lets me have everything that I need and want, well, just a few so far: Top Menu navigational bar, bottom menu navigational bar, bottom links thingy so people can have links, and feed back (I think the Garland theme has a changeable width size of the template columns). And that's it!!! (P.S. I downloaded both versions of FileZilla and none of them work on my Mac. Are there any other recommended FTP uploaders? Thanks.)

OK, sorry mahesh2k. The confusion is this: I thought that lulu.com does things for free apart from the base price in which they take away from you from the price that you set in your book. I thought that lulu.com doesn't require you to pay any extra fees for the editor's work. But you said in your previous post (this is my interpretation) that lulu.com does require you to pay a fee that is NOT the base price. Maybe for the editors or something else, but you still have to pay out of your pocket. Now, which is right? Does lulu.com take their fee out from the base price that they set or do you have to pay the initial price?

Hey people... I don't exactly think that anyone had a chance to read my other thread before it got answered so I'm here today to tell you what I really want from my site and I want some advice on how to make what I want. Simply put, I have make a screenshot with arrows and tags on it to show you what I really want. This is the picture here: This is the link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/404.png (So that you can see more clearly because I know that Xisto automatically shrinks the picture files that over load and fill up the page. So that's number one. Secondly, I think that while I am working on my site on my local webserver, it would be best if I actually loaded my files up onto my hosting company that I am experimenting with and most likely using it in the long term if I can earn enough from my site before exhausting and using up all my resources (diskspace and bandwidth and the like of that), and I have some trouble with cPanel and FileZilla. Basically, I have downloaded the Max OS X "apple-darwin" version of the FileZilla (I really don't know the difference between the apple-darwin and the powerpc versions so any help on that would be great), and I don't know how to use it, or how to upload it onto the cPanel. Now, I'm assuming that the cPanel is the same on all hosting companies servers, so any help on that would be great. Thanks.

Hiya!!! Glad to see you here!In fact, Xisto is (as far as I know), the only hosting company that gives you Unlimited Diskspace and Bandwidth Hosting for free (for the price of posting, or course!!!)So you've made a good choice in coming here. They also give you the domain here for free as well... But so basically, all you have to do is to post on Xisto, and you earn what they named it "myCENTS". Basically, every 100 myCENTS is the equivalent of one US dollar, and it's really pretty easy to earn that much.200 myCENTS (2 US Dollars) can give you hosting, and I usually earn 200 myCENTS in a day or two, and we're talking about using up 200 myCENTS a MONTH...But first you'll have to go to Xisto's Support and Billing Centre and sign up there, with the same email as you did here, as that provides the link between the two accounts. After that, you'll have to post at least 5 posts and wait until your "myCENTs" (in red) turns up out under your name and then you can begin earning myCENTS!!!Good luck with everything! The amount of myCENTS that you earn depends on how long your post is, how popular that is (I really don't know how that works, but anyway), and whether is is copied from another website or not. Copying is strictly prohibited, or else everyone can then copy stuff off the web and paste it here and easily earn myCENTS.So quote everything that you have copied, pay respect to everyone, and you'll survive. :PGood luck!(By the way, you may want to read to rule on the left hand side of the main forum page).

Haha, I'm glad that I've got you and that you're interested. Yes, they are actually quite real. In fact, I have to say that the only prove that these "psychic phenomena" that I've been studying for over two years is only in the psiball, because that is the only thing that I have experienced FOR REAL so far. I've had my share of telepathy and telekinesis experiences in the last two years, though I have to say that scientifically, I have absolutely no prove that it actually exists, because I haven't tested them in strictly controlled environments. However, I do coaching (or I used to), and I wouldn't mind if you sent me a PM or two regarding questions and we can find a chat room (or the Xisto forums shoutbox would suffice if we are allowed to use it) and we can practice there. But I'm extremely glad to have you interested. Darn it... if only my site was up and running, I'd get you into the community, but I haven't even gotten the template done and ready yet. But anyway... Yes, I was skeptical at first. Yes, it seems like that everyone goes there first... But I've done my research and I'm proud to say that I believe in this psychic phenomena. Well, psiballs are considered the easiest thing to achieve in terms of developing your psychic awareness. It takes a lot time and effort - for me, that is. It is actually different for everyone. One of the first steps is to BELIEVE. There is absolutely no chance of gaining the ability if you don't believe. Personally, I think that believing is already half the job done. There are several methods in making a psiball. You will have to find out what works best for you. Don't giveup if you can't do it after a few days. It took me weeks of trying before I did anything. Well, but that's only because I'm a slow learner. But you have to concentrate and try and get all your energy into your hands. If you're interested I might make a video on it. But there is one thing that I would like to tell you. Don't follow any instructions if you don't think it's right. I've read many articles and none of them suits me, so I've developed my own way of making a psiball. Remember, it's different for everyone, because everyone's an individual. It's easy to give up after a while, but you should persevere. Well, a psiball isn't too hard... It's pretty easy after a while. Basically, "psi" is the same as the Chinese "Chi" and the Japanese/Korean "Ki"... it's just energy. But most people can't feel it. So if you want to make a psiball... You have to feel "psi" first. And to me, that's a tingly feeling, though some people experience heat. But most people experience a tingly feeling. More on that later... I'll wait for your reply before I bore you to death with my extremely long posts that I tend to make when I like something a lot... Yay!!! (Hope I helped you! - I know that it's a pretty abrupt feeling!!!)
-
I agree with everything you said, especially building a community around you first and all that. That's a very good idea. And then when you've got lots of traffic and lots of people visiting your site, and when you gain a very high and good reputation, you can announce to everyone that you have: "Written a new hard copy book that they can purchase from <insert-the-name-of-the-publisher-here>!!!" But what I'm rather confused about in your post is Lulu's price. I actually thought that Lulu do things for free. Because they only make a book when it is ordered, the price that you pay to Lulu is the base price that they set. They get the base price (with their profit, of course), and you get the rest of the money. That is how I viewed it from their site. But then, if you think about it there has to be editors as well, so... I don't know... don't Lulu pay for them to help you? I really thought that everything was free... and that you only have to write your book, get it edited and reviewed and checked for any mistakes, name your price, and then wait for people to buy it!!! Isn't that the case? Hmm.... Oh well... :-/ I might be wrong (like I always am.)

Bill Gates: Biggest Loser :-) 7 billion loss :O
Nameless_ replied to phpphp's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, well, I agree... but I really didn't know that Bill Gates was the richest man in the world. But now I do. I'm slow, aren't I? But anyway... Wow... $50 billion is a lot on money. And A loss of $7 billion isn't a lot, if you consider him with is investment properties, stock market shares, and investment periods at the bank, really, he'll get his money back in no time... :PBut then, I mean, he doesn't even have to use his money any more. No, a better phrase to the previous sentence would be... he already has all the money that he needs for the rest of his life. Why bother working? Even if he doesn't have any investments in properties, rent profit from his properties, share market shares and so on, he'd still again a mighty lot on interest from the bank if he just left it there, so I mean, why bother working if you've got so much money already? He should give lots of his money to beggars on the streets or donate it to charity like the Salvation Army or some other organization. Or just sell his company for a cheap price. But to who? -
Cool nice... so I'm assuming that you're also building your blog on Drupal as well? Nice, cool!!! Yeah, I think I know what to do now when I see the WSoD... just delete whatever you tried to do before. Nice. AND Haha, thanks, no worries. Don't worry, I'll be posting lots of questions as I encounter them, so you'll learn on the way too... Cool, thanks!!! You're very helpful. Since I'm using MAMP, I've put localhost:8888 as my "<your-host-name>" and the folder name and I found the page, thanks!!! Hmm... yeah, well, I couldn't find one single theme that already had that in place, so I was getting worried. But then, I suppose that the default Drupal theme is much more easier to customise and suits me more than the default Joomla! theme, because the Drupal theme doesn't have the table thing that encloses everything and they spread everything out. OK, great. Now I've got a top navigational bar at the top. The problem is that you know how you have to name the bar? Well, I named the top navigational bar as "Top Menu" and now it shows this ugly "Top Menu" text right next to the actual links and I don't know how to get rid of it, because you HAVE to have a name for the menu thing. Also... I also want a navigational bar of the main categories UNDER the banner, that is a two level navigational bar, that most likely will have "children" drop down sub menus as well. Do you know how to make that? Meanwhile, I just play around with the "Top Menu" and see if I can change that at all... Thanks for your help! PS. I still don't get what "Primary Links" and "Secondary Links" are.

OK, thanks I'll check into that... Hope it works... I actually think that it's the same module that I've downloaded... What!!! The White Screen of Death!? Great... now I'm stuck... Oh... wait, no... It's working! It's working!!! You're a genius!!! OK. I didn't exactly know that one little single archive module can wreck the whole entire thing. Great. Now I'll just have to be careful. But yeah, now that I've deleted it, I couldn't believe my eyes when it started working again!!! A miracle!!! OK, I'll download the module and see how things go again... ... around 1 hour later... Yay!!! I got the module to work, even though it is the exact same one that I downloaded. I thought that that wasn't right so I downloaded the "views.module" ... but I don't know how to work that. OK, great. So now my drupal this is now a blogging platform and my Joomla! thing is NOT. I'm leaning towards Drupal now... Does anyone know how to create navigational bar on Drupal? I can't seen to find it, and I've created a forum but the only way to go there is through the admin place. And I need a navigational bar for "pages" like Home, Contact and About anyway.
-
Ah... OK, yeah, I've done some research and it seems like Drupal is mainly for developers and people that like digging into code. I'm not scared of that, and I'm willing to learn, so i've done some basic lessons of Drupal on the internet and I'm ready to go... And thanks for the post... I've done my first post and finally got rid of the annoying administrator area that was hogging the front page!!! I did go to modules, and there was a "Blog API" and a "Blog" Module, and I enabled the "Blog API", because apparently I think that some one told me that you don't need the "Blog" Module unless you wanted your members to have individual blogs, and since I don't need that (yet), I didn't enable it. But anyway, thanks for the push-off on Drupal... but the thing is that I've just had an extremely big catastrophe... but anyway.... I just thought that this thread has gone waaaaayy off-topic, so I created a new one here with the big main problem that I've encountered there: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/68560-help-on-drupal-and-other-open-source-cmss-incase-the-thread-got-off-topic-my-whole-drupal-site-disappeared-on-mamp-as-i-was-enabling-a-module/ And yeah, thanks for everything... P.S. Yeah, I also think that the logo looks a bit retarded... but what can you say? After all, it's one of the top two open source CMSs in the world.... (I really can't tell the difference between Joomla! and Drupal yet though. They are like, the same, and I encountered the same problems... And no, I didn't see the Create Blog Content thing yet. Maybe I just haven't dug deep enough into the functions, but now I just need to get the thing working again if I ever want to see the retarded logo on my local webserver again. )
-
Due to the fact that my cPanel thread has gone way off-topic (from simple cPanel questions to highly nerve-wrecking, grown-men crying problems ... well, OK, I'm exaggerating...but still), I have decided to create a new thread on my most current problem.Drupal.Yeah well, so I was browsing the web for information on the best CMS, and I have decided that Wordpress isn't suitable for community sites, only plain old blogging, which isn't what I wanted. So I changed my focus to the two most popular open source CMS softwares, Joomla! and Drupal. (thanks to my friends in the other thread... )And I like Joomla! at first, but many reports have said that while Joomla! is more newbie user-friendly (newbies like me), Drupal is much more flexible and while it is mainly for developers, it is more better for community sites, while Joomla! is best for management. But since me site will well, at first be based on management, and then changed to community, I thought that it would best to start off with the CMS platform that I will be using after the community is set up.(It should also be noted that popular sites like the BBC also uses Drupal)I have tested both of the CMSs and I have realised that Drupal isn't so bad after all, after I get the hang of it, though I must say that both Joomla! and Drupal seem very similar to me... I faced the same problems.First things first... I couldn't get the Archive thing to work, on both CMS platforms, while it was automatically put there on Wordpress. For Joomla, I got the module ON the front page, but it wouldn't archive my post for me, and so I was just wondering whether it is up to me to archive on everything, like, every single article that I would post when I get started. There is only an "Archive", and then a blank space underneath, and I really don't know how to work that...But anyway, OK... to Drupal then. Well, I found the archive module on the Drupal.org website, succesfully installed it onto MAMP (by unzipping the folder and moving it into modules in the "htsdocs" folder with the Drupal folder in it, and then I was trying to get it onto my site. But after I found the page that enables you to choose which "block" to fit the module on, and after I press "OK" or something like that (SAVE, I think it was), the whole page went white and blank. And the whole Drupal site disappeared. Now I thought that my MAMP thing wasn't working. The servers and stuff, because I've heard that that happened to someone once, and so I restarted the servers and started again. Still nothing. I went onto my Joomla! page, and then my Wordpress page, and it actually worked, but the Drupal foldere didn't.I was only trying to get the "Archives" module onto the page. I mean, it's already installed and everything, and it's also enable... so I really don't think that this has anything to do with the sudden disappearance of my site. I mean, it's still on and everything, the folders are intact, and the browser could find the page. But it's just blank. On the phpmyadmin on MAMP you can still see the actions that I have taken on the Drupal database... and I really don't know what happened.I even tried renaming the folders and back again to see if that works.Nothing.Does anyone know how to fix this, or do I have to install Drupal and start everything all over again? Argh!!! (Waits for the expert to arrive and solve all my problems)Oh, and yeah, I made this thread on CMSs, so we can go off the Drupal topic as long as it's still on other CMSs like Joomla! and Wordpress. And this is only the first of my many questions coming. I just need to sort this main catastrophe out first. The disappearance of my Drupal site!!!
-
Hmm... I'm glad I made this thread then. Yeah well, it is rather annoying, though I suppose you get used to it in time though. I guess it's just me being impatient and all that, and since that I haven't exactly been here long, I suppose that might contribute a bit to that too... :_ But anyway, at least I'm not the only one. That's the good news. The bad news is that not everyone is experiencing this problem either. So here we are separated into two groups, and what we have to do now is to find the similarities between the people that have this problem, and the differences that the people that have this pop-out box problem with the people that don't have a problem. But currently, I really don't find any differences or any similarities at all, and I really don't think that it's Safari's fault, or the Macintosh's fault, because rob86 doesn't have a Mac, and I think that galexcd's right too... and that it's not the Safari's problem either. And I certainly don't think that I've got any problems with my wire settings or anything like that... I mean, the Remember Me box actually works on other forums, just not this one... Great idea, mahesh2k, Yeah well, we'll just have to wait for the admins to see this thread and address the problem... the then the main problem now is... what if they they see this thread at all? Then we're all doomed... (I mean, the admins don't go checking every single thread, do they? Hmm... )
-
I don't know... Maybe it's just not only you? I often have this problem too, because I spend all my time on Xisto before I go to sleep (I usually type until I literally fall asleep on the keyboard), and I go on first thing in the morning as well, I can sometimes still see that the myCENTS that I have earned the previous night (or even day), has still hasn't been transferred into my Xisto's Billing and Whatever Centre, though I'm not too concerned about that myself because it will be transferred at the end of the day, though there's usually an eight hours gap between me being typing on the Xisto forums before I sleep and after I wake up... So my advice to you is... um... wait more? If it still doesn't work and you have had enough of waiting, then send in a support ticket and ask them what is actually going on and see whether they can solve it for you... Most likely than not someone will reply in a few hours and everything will be fixed. So just send in a support ticket anyway and see what they say. Also, it might take some time for the database to get used to the new email, so you might want to take that into account as well... but don't worry though, I'm sure that your myCENTS will be safe, whether it is on here in Xisto or in the Xisto's Support and Billing Centre, you'll always have support. If not from the staff and the support people then you'll get it from us forum members... Good luck in getting your myCENTS transferred!!!
-
Cool, thanks. Looks like you really like Drupal, don't you? Hmm... well, I would be trying that, but the only thing is, well, not the only thing, but the main problem is that I can't get out of the default page whenever I'm on Drupal, and I can't seem to be able to change it into a blogging platform... at all... so that's the main problem, I suppose... But if I can change that, then I'll be able to try it... I don't know. It seems like to me that Drupal is much more flexible than Joomla!, and Joomla! is much much more flexible than Wordpress, though Wordpress is the easiest to use, especially if you're only developing a blog, and Joomla! is easier to use than Drupal, and so on and so on... etc. I don't think that I'll be using Wordpress though. Everything is too limited in terms of flexibility and I do prefer both Drupal and Joomla! more... but the Drupal's two navigational levels things would help me a lot, because I've been searching everywhere on the web for a two level navigational banner ever since I started my first blogspot blog... In which I have had no success whatsoever. But in this case I suppose my thing is saved, for now. But if I am to use Drupal, then I'll have to learn how to use it first... But thanks for the help, rvalkass.
-
Hmm... I must say that I really don't know then, though it still happens all the time and I find it just so extremely annoying. Though I'm pretty sure that I have a static IP address that doesn't change or anything... but it is most certainly true that while not everyone is having this problem, I'm not technically the only one either... So yeah....I don't know about browsers though. Do they even make a difference? I really have no say in browsers, because I really don't have an opinion of them. They're all the same, I suppose...Oh well... if I really can't figure out how to stop the annoying pop-out box from popping out then I'll just have to deal with it and leave it as it is... I mean, I'm seriously not going to get turned off Xisto because on that one stupid pop out box, am I?After all, I already lasted for two months...
-
Hmm? Yeah, OK. I agree with you with the point that Drupal gives you more flexibility in changing your site themes and all that... but the thing is I don't know how to use it... I mean, I do, but all I get is the same administrator area page that I have absolutely no idea of how to change it and all that, but I'll take a closer look into everything and see if I can figure everything out. And yeah, it did say that the post will go once I put my actual new post up, but I don't know how to post in the first place... talk about being stupid. I have now installed Joomla... I know how to use it, so I think it's better than Drupal AT THIS POINT OF TIME because I know how to use it, though I find it extremely annoying when you keep having to press the "Close" button (the one with a red circle and a white X) every time you add a new module... But I like it how they have a "banner" client and all that. I tested it out though only the first default template can use that one module properly. But anyway. Unfortunately, I still don't know how to change Joomla into a blogging platform software that archives automatically. Are you meant to archive everything separately and manually? But yeah. And I also like the fact that Joomla allows you to put polls on the site... I need that. But I still don't know how to make everything look similar to Mediumchannel and an actual blog. Also, I've been looking at the templates on all the website building platforms: Joomla, Wordpress and Drupal, and I can't find a template with two navigational bars on the top of the page in which one of them is a two level navigational banner. So it's like this (What I want it to be like): Top of the Page Banner: The normal navigational buttons like Home, About, Contact, Donate, etc, etc ... ... and then a search module Middle of the Page Banner: The Logo and an advertisment banner. Bottom of the Page Banner: A two level navigational banner with sub categories in the normal categories. So for me, it's like Psychic (main category. About Psychic stuff (sub category one), Learn about it (sub catergory two)... and so on. I'll do a quick example for you here... And here... (But with a top navigational banner with it (not categories, but static pages - Home, About, Contact, Donate, etc, etc) Thanks guys... OK, this is getting out of topic, I'll have to make another thread soon.
-
Um... wireless? OK, it's connected to the phone company though, so I'm assuming that it's cable. Sorry, yeah, I know I'm pretty vague on everything... I'm not good at computer stuff, you know... Can't Xisto change the log in script from IPS? Or use another one? Because I know that forums that has less members and that are not developed by computer savvy people still have forums that don't require you to log in once a month, not even once a year. And yet Xisto, who is actually a web hosting company full with computer savvy people still cannot solve this problem... Can you just change the script? I really don't think it's my computer's problem though.
-
Sure, thanks mahesh2k... and no, I didn't actually see all the spamming on there. Just by looking at the site I get constant headaches and migraines at all the technological stuff and technical terms that I didn't have time to actually notice the spamming. But now that you've mentioned it, and now that I've actually returned to the site to have a good look at things, hey!!! You're actually right! There's been lots of spamming going on. But anyway, I'm still sticking on to Xisto. The help has be very great (mostly contributed by you (mahesk2k) of course...) but yeah... ) Love Xisto, forever and always, Nameless_... Though I still can't find the question section though, so I really don't know how to put in my questions there. So I'm still posting them on Xisto, which has been a great help as well... But oh well, I'll go there like, once a month or something. I'll be fine.
-
I always check the "Remember Me" whenever I log in Xisto, and the fact that the shout box thingy alert still pops out whenever I least expect it constantly just shows me that it doesn't work. Seriously... I tried nearly everything... apart from breaking my computer by bashing it with a baseball bat, that is... (And other computer-breaking methods, of course...) So yeah, that doesn't work either. It's defaultly set to "Remember Me", so I don't even have to manually check the box... so I really don't know why this is happening.

Haha, no worries. If it's really just me, then I'll have to figure out a way to stop this annoying thing... well, let's se... I don't really know whether I have a static IP number or not, but it's most likely that I DO have one. I mean, I don't SPAM or do illegal stuff and things anyway, so why would I need a constantly changing IP address anyway? And anyway, I don't even know how to change my IP address for a start. I thought that you could only have one? That comes in with your computer? But anyway... So yeah, I believe that I can safely say that I've got a static IP address... and well, rob86 has this problem as well, so maybe it's not my fault? I don't know... any other suggestions?

Well, I certainly don't think that Xisto is very convenient right now, having to log in like, once every... I don't know... whenever it feels like it? Yeah, I really like forums that doesn't require you to log in at all... well, I used to participate in a forum like that. Very convenient, though I ended up forgetting both my username and my password... But I still think that while Xisto requires you to log in, I think that they should just make you log in whenever you open your computer again, not everytime you post or something like that. And rob, I use Safari because it's the default of all Mac computers... so... Oh well, I certainly do hope that the administrators look into this problem...

Hahaha... dude, I think I was the first person to start the thread and then random people started coming because of that and started random threads for invites too... :(If you want an invite... PM the ORIGINAL thread starter... not random people that only have one or two posts on Lockerz and then run away hoping for people to ask them for an invite... (Psst... which is me, by the way. )Though I would personally give myself some reputation and actually contribute to the forums before asking for people if they want an invite, and seriously, if you joined Xisto just to get some emails for invitation requests, please... don't bother. This is a forum for serious people that want websites, not for advertising something like that.

Hi people, I will try and make this thread as polite as possible, but I won't hide the fact that I am incredibly and very, very annoyed at the Xisto's forum's log in script system... (Or maybe it's just me, I'm feeling very annoyed today... ) Or maybe it's just my computer. But whenever I log in to Xisto, I would be require to log in again, sometimes straight after, sometimes during a post, and more often than not I would lose the entire post that I would be posting on and will be required to write everything again, and it was alright until the last time when I was replying to the "What typing speed to you have in WPM?" thread, and because I actually took time to do the tests and stuff, and I lost all the information there that I think that it is just too much and that I should make a proper thread on this. This would usually happen.... I would log in to Xisto, and reply to a few posts, and in the middle of one, a rand- And there it goes again. I'll put a screen shot up: Anyway, continuing my sentence after I have just logged in: his would usually happen.... I would log in to Xisto, and reply to a few posts, and in the middle of one, a random pop out box will shout and go "You do not have permission to use the Shoutbox." And if would be my notification that I would be logged out of the system for some unknown reason, and that I would be required to log in again. And if won't be from inactivity!!! Because I'm still typing my post and it would pop out in the middle!!! And this post isn't even considered to be long at all... so I'm less than 5 mins from my last click on the forums... And sometimes I will have to do that right after I just logged in. Is it just me or does anyone else have a problem too? Because it is seriously getting on my nerves and that is the main reason why my posts get shorter and shorter now because I just couldn't be bother retyping the whole thing word by word and stuff, leaving me less chance to earn myCENTS... Or is this just some "evil" plan that Opaque had put up to reduce the distribution of myCENTS? (Not that I'm blaming Opaque for anything, just mere speculation... ) But anyway, I think this has to stop like, right here, and right now... I hate this. A lot... :( OK, I don't know if it's just me or if the world against me today (it certainly feels like it), but the screenshot's not working. I'll try again: If it still doesn't work then I'll wait for a reply before trying again.
