Hiya koolazngy94....What's with everyone new coming in already knowing everything about myCENTS and all that? I think everyone's just getting smarter... but I believe that you already know what you are looking for here in Xisto (website hosting and domain name registrar if you want this service), so I suppose I don't have much to say to you anymore...But refrain from posting one-liners on this forum, because it is regarded as spam here. We want quality posting, so it is best to post long paragraphs like me... apart from that, just enjoy yourself, learn lots of web hosting stuff of this forum!!! (like I did - I learnt EVERYTHING from this forum). The people here are just so nice, you have no idea how much they can help you... But anyway, that isn't for me to decide. That's for you to think for yourself.Anyhow, post lots and lots of HIGH QUALITY posts, don't spam, don't copy and paste things from other sites, and enjoy your free website hosting!!! Good luck!!!

Oh my god... thank you SO very much... I have no words to explain my thanks... I really don't know how to say thank you to you... but anyway, this is my site now if you want to take a look at it... YES!!! OK, maybe I won't change hosting accounts now... I just feel to happy to go through all this again, but anyway, I guess I'll learn... Thank you so much for your guidance... Now, I'll have to work on the design. I just hope I don't have to do this all again. The good new is, my mother's friends heard that I was making a website and they are now offering me to help them (for free, of course) to make a website for them too. It'll tone my skills as a novice webmaster... but I am happy. I cannot say that my project is fully finished now though, I still need your help, but anyway, I consider this to be a major acheivement in my short teenage years of life... WOO HOOOO!!!!! Let my celebrate!!! I'll worry about design later. Sorry, inverse_bloom. I'll have to sleep first as a celebration. More exams tomorrow. And I still haven't even started studying yet. Oh well, it can wait until the morning... Or the five minutes before I go in to do the test... Thank you so much, FouGilang... Haha, my heart is soaring right now, I can nearly hug my mac laptop if I can. I guess I'm just high now though. I'll have to settle down quickly and think of more pressing matters... like my google apps email, for example.

Heya people... I have a very quick question about Google Apps Google Mail to ask you... don't worry, it is pretty quick, and I believe that I have posted in the write section because one day when I was looking at one of my other email queries and question threads I realised that it had been moved to the "E-mails" sub forum section, even though it was plainly a query, so I decided to play safe this time and post it in the "E-mail" section... Anyway no more random unrelated talk, the question is this: I am sick of waiting for a new hosting account application chance... I was thinking of doing my site online on my other hosting account first and THEN moving to my new account, but I haven't created my Google Apps Google Email account yet, because I have a few questions to ask... What will happen to my email address if I changed my domain from one hosting account to another (even though it is the same host)? Do I have to create new verification files or whatever and stuff like that if I do change hosting accounts? I am sure that I am not the only person to have this problem before (even though it is potential and I don't even know if I am going to have a problem like this in the first place ANYWAY, but I always like to be carefully prepared beforehand... ) I am sure that many people before me must have already had a hosting account somewhere else (with their email already set up and ready to use) and then changed hosts accordingly and quite successsfully as well. I am debating whether I should create an email account at Google Apps first and then change hosting accounts and if that is possible. Because I would like to get all the technical things over and done with first so that I can fully work on my site after everything is done (in which is is currently not). But at least my sites online now... well, partially. Anyway, thanks for your help in this matter... I look forward to your replies... A little too eagerly, I must say.

UPDATE: I just found a "Fantastico" on my cPanel... I believe that it has something to do with installing random Content Management Systems like Drupal down onto my site automatically... I don't know how to use it though, and there seems to be a lot of errors so I didn't touch anything. But I'll post the errors down if anyone is interested... it might help me in the future too... Something about lines... Hmm... I see it, thanks FouGilang, but I'm scared of doing anything incase I did something wrong.... Do you have a step by step instructions to tell me what to do? This isn't on my local webserver on my computer, phonexia, this is the actual real thing, a actual webserver online on the internet with cPanel... if this was an issue on my local webserver (I use MAMP, not Xampp), then I wouldn't have any problem with creating databases in the first place because I'd be the admin of the phpmyadmin instead on an normal regular user... And of course, I can't just take him to court just for that... please, be serious when someone needs serious help...

Haha, I would say Simple Machines Forum as well, but not because it is faster, better, or has no security exploits or whatever, but only because the SMILEYS on SMF are better than any other forum that I have seen so far!!! I really meant it, not only just phpBB, but any other forum software as well... The smileys just seems very important to me, I don't know why, but choose SMF because of the smileys!!! :D

Hiya Johnmck93... welcome to Xisto!!!I guess you already know what you are looking for and you have already successfully registered in the Support and Billing Client Area already, seeing the red myCENTS under your name, so I suppose I can spare you my lengthy introduction from you... That's good though, I like people like you that reads everything very clearly before they join a site like this. This is what I did too, though I didn't exactly register the billing before hand... :(Maybe you're just more prepared than I am. :DBut anyway, enjoy your time at Xisto and enjoy your free hosting!!! Good luck on your journey to creating your own website!!!

Hiya people... after installing my drupal (not fully) onto my hosting account and getting my domain name to point correctly to the drupal's index.php file, I have received the next problem. I don't think that it can be solved because this is on another hosting account, but I just want your opinions so I can make up my mind... :)People here are nicer and are quicker to reply to my problems... Thanks...OK, so the problem is that I can not seem to create a new database for my website on phpmyadmin. I don't know any other alternatives, but I know that I need a database if I am to install drupal on my site... I went to other places like PostgreSQL and it seems to allow me to create a database (I believe mahesh2k prefers this) but I don't know if drupal allows this... And I don't even know what phpmyadmin or postgreSQL does or anything like that.... what are they called again? Anyway, if I can just install my drupal on my site successfully, I'll be happy... :DThanks for any advice that I receive. I am sorry for taking up your time on this matter, especially if you won't be able to do anything to help me if it is a matter of my hosting company and there is no other alternative to help me install my drupal. Thank you very much once again, thanks.

Ah... OK. Thanks for the information. I have done as you said and deleted the redirection folder... I am trying to install drupal now, but I've encountered a database problem. I'll start this in a new thread though... thanks for the information. But I'll still have to use the redirection method if I get new sites to put on, right? Currently I have at least one site that I want online that isn't my main site, so I'll have to use the redirection method anyway... But this can count as one problem solved!!! And many more to go... why do I just have to be a technical accident prone person? Oh well, I don't this this can be solved any moment soon... some people are just unfortunate like me...

Like you, I also use a Macintosh Computer. In all aspects, I believe that it is easier to use, and it takes less time to do everything, like turning open the computer and all that, and I like the way the applications, documents and everything is set up inside the computer. The structure is very easy to use and understand, and installing new applications as so easy... it's just dragging one folder to another... Also, it is less accessable to many different viruses because the virus market just don't put Mac users into their mindsThe disadvantage of having a Macintosh computer is that many applications aren't suitable to Mac, because of the small number of Mac users compared to a normal PC user... The only problem is it's minority, I believe. It's just a give and take thing though... I believe that Mac has the best operating system (I've used all sorts of different kinds of operating systems, so I'm not bias, though I can't say anything about Unbuntu), and the only disadvantage is that many software designers and program programmers just don't put Mac first on their priority list and often miss us Mac users out because of this... :(But overall, it is a good system and I still prefer a Mac over a normal everyday PC... what about anyone else?

Is There A Rule That Mods Shouldn't Start New Threads?!
Nameless_ replied to The Simpleton's topic in Web Hosting Support
What I think is that the moderators aren't thinking of posting up tutorial threads themselves... they have to keep this site in order, and the fact that many new threads or questions (like mine) and posts appear every single day that they have to try and answer all of them, make sure that things don't go out of hand and off topic and all that that they don't have time themselves to make new threads.I mean, yes, they have a lot of knowledge, but they would rather use this knowledge to help people that actually have questions to ask them and people that actually need a specific type of help. This can be in coding, putting their site online, or any other specific question that one person may encounter on their journey of webhositing and website building. They would rather help these people than post tutorials that no one might be interested in and waste their energy doing so. I mean, no one reads a tutorial unless they want help on that subject. In a thing like blogs and all that, it is quite hard for people to ask questions relating to a certain question, because the only way they can ask is to post on comments, and more rarely, email the blogging author. But in a forum, it is easy to start threads for help, and there will be people that will come and help you. And most of these are moderators, due to their large expertise in this matter... They would prefer helping people like us than start threads of their own, though it isn't unknown for them to start threads. Do you get the reason now? There is always a reason for things like that, I suppose...But anyway... thanks for all the help, mods!!! -
Um... because redirecting is the only way I know to get my domain name to point to the right file? Look, I really don't know what else I am meant to do. Drupal comes in a file, so the only thing that I can do is to redirect my domain name to the file, or else it wouldn't show the site I want... the only thing I know to do is redirection. Are you implying that there is another way to do this? What do you mean, install things from scratch? The only way that I know how to install drupal is to copy the whole drupal folder onto my cPanel... with that, I don't know how it can automatically create a database for me... I really don't understand where you are coming from, anwii... Huh??? Sorry, I don't understand this at all as well... what do you mean my domain name isn't even a good keyword? It's my real name... so... Hmm? what same name as my domain? Do you mean my folder? Well... if that is what you mean, it is because it is easier to know which is my site and which isn't??? I don't understand... I don't understand this as well... How am I doing things on the second level down? That is the only first level I know, in terms of drupal. It is in a folder, right? So I just copy and paste the whole entire folder in. There is no other way that I know of to do things alternatively... can you spell this out in plain english so that i can understand what you are talking about? Wait... are you saying that it will work if I copied all the contents FROM the folder and then paste it outside the folder? Is that what you mean by "first level"? I don't understand... For your reference, I am creating a personal website, and my blog will be contained IN my website... my website isn't solely my blog... Sorry, I don't really understand a word your get. OK... so, how do I do that? I thought that I had already installed drupal on my domain name, but I think I am wrong now from the tome of your post... ??? What? FTP all my files to what other server? Huh? And I don't know how to run cron.php jobs, sorry... but I am willing to learn if someone tells me how to do it and what it does in plain english... Okay... huh??? I don't understand that at all... OK, I will have to see what anwii says to this before I choose my mind. Currently, I have absolutely no idea what he is talking about... sooo... I want to understand what he is saying because he often gives good advice, but often in the most cryptic way that no one like me can ever understand... :-/ I don't know whether that is a compliment or not myself, anwii...

Thank you FouGilang for the redirection coding... I have done as you said... To shadowx: I don't understand about this. What??? Sorry, I am terribly bad at php, but what is the welcome message and why do I have to put it in the index.php? Also, where do I put it? But the main question is this: what is <? include("myfiles/news.php") ?> ??? Do I put this along the code that FouGilang gave me, or it this something entirely different? I think I get the include thing, but in the code, it only "includes" the one file (index.php), and not the whole entire folder (myfiles). How will the link work then? And where do I put the code? In the index.php in my drupal or in the index.php in the redirection text? huh? Sorry for taking up your time...

Haha, thanks for your help guys... just a few more problems... I guess I'm just not good enough. But I'm determined!!! Er... yes... that is exactly what I did, I suppose. Though it is not working mainly because of my domain index.php problem, not the copying and pasting problem YET. I suppose I'll try and do that later... Ah... I found why it is a problem now. But I'll write that up on the bottom of the post... Thanks for the advice though. OK, my site (here) is exactly what you said would happen now... "the user will just see a list of files and folders"... OK... I get the point of putting an index.php in. But what do I put in the index.php file? I can't just upload a random empty textedit file called "index.php"... I need something in it. What is it? And what is the htaccess file? Isn't that just to put user permission views or something? I haven't done the database thing yet, but I'll do that tomorrow. It's getting pretty late and I just want to get the index.php thing finished and done with... Actually, just tell it to me now. I'll try everything tomorrow. I just found out a problem with just copying and pasting the drupal folder from MAMP onto cPanel. They think that my host is "local host" when it isn't... oh well. It can wait until tomorrow...

Hiya people... I guess the more advanced people are always right, huh? But anyway, let me tell you what I am talking about. I was initially wanting to move my site from one hosting account to another, due to multiple problems, but I got tired of waiting for a chance for me to apply for a new free hosting account, so I have decided to try and put things online for the first time ever and work from there... But anyway... let's get back onto the topic. I have put this into my "question form" form to get this easily read and answered... There are a few things that I want answered: 1. I uploadEd my drupal folder from MAMP into my public_html folder on my cPanel through Filezilla. Are things meant to be immediately able to see the updates, or does like take one day to two days (like waiting for the nameservers of your domain name to update) for you to see the results? Because I uploaded my folder and I still can't see my drupal on there immediately). 2. Let's say that uploading files are immediate. I believe that my domain name is pointed to the default index.html that my hosting company has put there. Is it possible for me to delete that index.html file? How do I get my domain name to point to my drupal folder? Does deleting the index.html work, or do I have to do some extra stuff? 3. When I installed my Drupal folder onto my MAMP, I had to create a database and then point the folder to the database. Do I have to do that as well on cPanel? If so, how do I do that? Where do I do it? Do I just follow the same steps that I took to upload the Drupal onto MAMP? 4. How do I get a back up for my site? Someone once told me that I should get a back up for my site everytime I edit something if something goes wrong... so let's say that everything is working perfectly fine. Of course, I will want to do back ups for my site in case something goes horribly wrong. Can someone give me the steps to do that? 5. LAST QUESTION: Phew!!! I bet you're glad that this is the last one. I try to keep my threads under a number of five questions... And this one's easy. Is there anything that you think I might have missed out on? I am new to everything, so treat me like I am a retard and don't know my ABC's of the internet. Tell me what you think might be important to me so I will avoid as many problems as I can, as I am prone to having website building accidents... Thanks for your advice and information. Maybe by the time I end all this I will feel no need to change my hosting accounts anyway... but this doesn't really matter. I just want to get this done as quickly as possible, so even if my site isn't finished by the end of the last two weeks of school where I will be telling everyone my new email (), I will still have a OK website that looks acceptable. It's better than having the horrid default index.html anyway... thanks for everything again. I look forward to your replies...

How Do I Shift My Wp Database From A Sub-domain To The Main Domain?
Nameless_ replied to The Simpleton's topic in Programming
To get your blog onto a subdomain in the first place, I believe that you have to point the sub domain to a certain folder, which is, presumably from your post, your wordpress blog folder. Now, to get your blog to the main domain, all you have to do is the either remove the subdomain and make your wordpress blog folder the default index folder that your cPanel uses, or just point your main domain to that folder and make it the default index folder... it should be easy to do, though I don't have any experience yet... That's what I think you are meant to do... if this is wrong... well, then, maybe you should wait for a more advanced member to help you out with this... cheeras and good luck!!! (Because I never seem to have any when I work on MY site... ) -
What You Feel For The Name Casual Tech?
Nameless_ replied to TheDarkHacker's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Ah... OK, I get the difference between "Trademark" and "Copyright" now. Hmm. Yeah, I was wondering, because I've got a few designs that I like and have too, on normal everyday objects and I was rather concerned about the fact that a random company might suddenly come across my site and take all my designs away. I suppose certain photographs are alright and are easy to maintain as your own though, if it is design and small things. All you have to do is to put a piece of paper somewhere with your name or the website in BOLD like that and they won't be able to take it, because it is hard to edit a photo (though not impossible) with an actual object in it. And it will render that picture useless, though in normal photographs, I can't possible put a watermark on it... so.... I mean, if I put my name somewhere on a commercial building picture, they can just crop it, because I can't stick a big poster over a wall of a commercial building, right? Oh well... it's not like anyone but certain people will go to my site anyway, but I just want to make sure. But thanks for the information though... @The Dark Hacker: I'm glad you got started on your domain name. I'm looking forward to your site!!! -
Heya chezo. Nice to see you here... I'm glad that yet another expert member has arrived on our forums... feel free to browse around!!! Xisto is a free webhosting company and offers your free unlimited hosting just for posting on their forums. So if you are looking to host a site here, you have come to the right place!!! The good thing is that Xisto also provides a top level domain name for you, so it's really cool... and if you have any questions regarding hosting (which I don't think you have a lot apart from our system since you are a professional anyway), there is a lot of support here as well. You'll have to join Xisto's Support and Billing Centre where you will get your own Client Area and sign up there. It's pretty easy!!!Just fill in all of your details, don't worry, because it's confidential and they have very good support... And then you'll have to post at five posts here at Xisto, and when the process order is done, you'll see the red "myCENTS" under your name appear, you can start earning myCENTS!!! 100 myCENTS is the same as one USD, and two USD is the minimum requirement for your hosting... It's easy, to earn that much for a month, because it will take you around a day to earn that much if you post a lot. But don't spam or copy and paste things and you will be fine, because you will lose myCENTS if you do. Enjoy yourself in the forums and if you want a guide to web hosting read the FAQ's, everything about MyCENTs!!!

What You Feel For The Name Casual Tech?
Nameless_ replied to TheDarkHacker's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Hmm... for a content copyright on your blog or site... don't you just put a "Copyright © <first year of blog or site> - <current year>. All rights reserved" in your blog or site or something like that? Or did everyone really go to a patent registering office to get it done? What? Hmm... maybe I was wrong, but I'm still going to insert that under my site anyway. -
What You Feel For The Name Casual Tech?
Nameless_ replied to TheDarkHacker's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Haha... sorry for my crappy suggestions... I guess non worked out too good in the end, did it? But anyway, I suppose you get the most satisfaction out of a name that you choose for yourself in the end anyway...For junkie... well, I just really don't know. I was presuming that it would hint that your blog is something like an old shed or an old garage with lots of tips and tricks hidden away there... but I really aren't sure of the meaning. But anyway... I guess that wasn't really on top of my list either... Good luck with your new domain name! I am looking forward to the construction of your site. I bet you're going to get it finished before I put up my first site online.... I'm just that slow. -
Need Help With Naming Website! Naming
Nameless_ replied to kawai's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Hmm... so you need suggestions, right? Like mahesh2k said, you can try going to the forums of your niche or start looking at Google searches and come up with ideas. That is what I do when someone needs ideas....But here are a few quick names that might interest you: Doodletalk, sribuzz, spotdots, dottalks... etc, etc.And after a quick search off the web, lots of names aren't even related to the application, so really, you can name it anything you like... They have things like wapedia, mangabullet, and oekaki, in which I don't really know the meaning of. Why don't you name it something like "kawai" after you? But you'll need a name that is short and easy to remember, and so that people will know what it is immediately. Put something like Paint, Draw, Doodle, Scribble, Line, Dot, etc etc in it, followed by something like Talk, Chat, Buzz and that should do the trick. If you're creative enough to be able to make an application like this, then you should be creative enough to think up of a good name!!!(I know that my examples weren't really all that good... but... :-/) -
I'm not saying it takes alot of traffic. It just needs traffic to run... so, I mean, as a chat application, it would be rather boring if only you were on it, right? Unlike miniclip, you can't "chat" to you computer in your paintchat application that you are going to make. So you will need real people on it to chat. A chat application only works if people are online using it and chatting to each other. TO do so, you will have to get some traffic. It is like traffic lights in a normal road system. You need cars for a traffic light to properly function, because without cars, there won't be any use for it. SImilarly, you will need people, or visitors to your site, and they have to stay at your site for some period of time, hopefully chatting there for a while before moving on to another site again. To do this, you will have to promote your site. Unless you are hoping that people will come to your site by themselves, you will have to promote it yourself. You should want your site to be popular enough that there is at least three people at on time online at your site in a day. Because one person online in a chat application will quickly go away if there is no one on it to talk to them, and if one person goes in a two person conversation, the other person will most likely go too. Of course, this wouldn't matter if you just want to use it with your real life friends, but to be a proper website, i would recommend you to show it to the online population and get it known as well as you can make it known... so traffic is the visitors and people that get to your site, in short.

What You Feel For The Name Casual Tech?
Nameless_ replied to TheDarkHacker's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I wouldn't post the list up for myCENTS if I were you... domain sitters and hoggers can always come to this site and snatch away all the domains from the list in no time so if someone like you happens to change their mind last minute the domain will already be gone... And no... I think you misunderstood. There were .com domains in there as well.... I put it in this format: yourdomain.com/net/org So you might have missed the .com bit. But I sent you another list with only the .com domains in it. But as inverse_bloom said, casualtechie sounds good too. Better buy it if you want it before someone else comes along and sees this thread and buy it before you do. And anyway, it was my pleasure to help you. You know what I reckon who should post their PMs and earn myCENTS for their work? Inverse_bloom should. He helped me more than I helped you, I must say... with design concepts and all that stuff, he actually went to all the websites and analyzed it with he professional skills for me, and the amount that he wrote is more than my longest post ever, and definitely more than the list that I gave you... I suppose we are here just to help each other, and I try to do my best to contribute back to this friendly forum as much as I can because of all the support that I receive her... @inverse_bloom: I thought that you had to pay a hefty amount of money for the registration of a company? I searched this up quite a long time ago in the library and it was said that unless your company is very well know and that a lot of money and credit could be lost if you don't register (like Google and McDonalds), you don't have to worry about registering your logo and company name... I mean, possibly not everything shop in the world registered their name and logo, right? Like those mini shops on the streets in poorer countries... -
Ah... I see... so it is like a chat application with a drawing feature... Hmm. I don't know about that though. I am not sure if you are allowed to host an IRC chat on Xisto, I think I read somewhere that it isn't really allowed, but yes, I believe that it is possible to do it though, as long as you don't take up too much space on the servers. That's the only problem, I think... with it taking up too much space. Some moderator was talking about that some time ago... so. But I mean, Xisto allows warez sites and sites that contain adult content, so it really isn't much of an "illegal" content issue. It is more like a sever issue, so there you go. But yes, it is possible...Especially if you site is nothing but that, I believe that it is possible. If you have done it before on your local host webserver on your computer, then obviously it wouldn't turn out as well as it would if it was on a proper webserver, so I must say that you will have to give it a try first on a proper webserver before making up your mind... I agree that it would be very fun, but these kind of sites require lots of traffic for it to work, enough for a number of people online on your site at a particular time, but you can also make it rather private and get all your real life friends to join in as well...Good luck! I'll say, I'm actually rather looking forward to your projects. Keep us up on your progress!!!

@ anwii: You would make the best blogger in my philosophy blog... I swear. I believe what you say a hundred percent... But sometimes we should also think about the mentally retarded people in this world. What gift do THEY have? They don't have any talent in art, any talent in speech, not any talent in writing skills, singing, walking or for sport or otherwise. They are easily shunned in our society and we don't really pay much attention to them. What is their gift? I was thinking about that after I read the full length of your post, and then I though of it. Maybe their gift is ignorance. And not knowing anything. Do you get what I mean? They are free from the restrains of this world and having to work day and night. Maybe people shun them, but maybe also, that most of them don't know what it means (bless them). Maybe it is best to be dumb in this world and let others take care of you. No know the meaning of everything in this society, and let things be. Just live, sleep, play, go to the toilet and be as happy as they can be... I'm not really sure if you really understand what I mean, so I'll leave it here...

Do You Feel The Need To Format/defrag Your Brain?
Nameless_ replied to The Simpleton's topic in Science and Technology
Oh my god... I really can't believe that you have an idea like This one, The Simpleton. I mean, I know that you have a lot of ideas and innovations... but seriously... I believe that you should go to your nearest GP and then proceed to your nearest mental hospital. The computers have start to eat away your brains... ooooh...Haha, just joking. But I was seriously about the bit where the computers are starting to eat up your brain. In fact, I think that computers are starting to eat up my brain too!!! But anyway. I don't know anything about super computers and what they are, so I don't really know how or why the brain would be faster and have more memory than a "supercomputer". But what I know is this. The brain never really forgets anything, and you have all the memories that you ever had in your life time, even if it is hidden away in your subconsious brain. But there a few reasons why this wouldn't work... after all, your brain has developed to the very best it has over the thousands and millions and billions of years of evolution, and there is a reason why you cannot "delete" those files or memories that you don't want in your brain any more. First things first. Deleting something in your memory does NOT change history, What has happened has already happened and by deleting it, you won't be doing anything else but save yourself from the bad experience, whether it is guilt or humiliation from your mind. But while you can delete your memories and files (let's say) you cannot do so for other people, and therefore they will have a memory that you don't have and when they mention it you won't understand what they are talking about.Secondly, if we deleted all the bad experiences in our brains, then we will have a perfect life (or as perfect as we could make it). And do you know the one thing our brains can't stand? Yes, that's it. A perfect life. It would mean that we would never had made any mistakes (well, as we remember it) in our lifes, and we willl grow sad and desolated because we will think that we can't improve ourselves anymore and therefore have nothing else to do in life. Also, remember the subconscious concept? If we really deleted all those memories, and also in your "Recycle Bin" as well, then we will keep facing the same problems over and over again without know how to stand up and face it ourselves, especially if we don't have any memory of having this problem before. In your minds, you are flawless, but in history (and in other people's minds), you are making the same mistake over and over again. Would you like that?Well, I know that I wouldn't... our brains also have a "erase" mechanism where we forget really really bad things that had happened to you. People who are raped, or suffered a devastating experience like losing their family in an earthquake, seeing someone killed right before their eyes, and etc and etc often experience amnesia (you forget everything) to save you from emotional shock. And that only happens when it is absolutely necessary or you will go mental. So I believe that our brains is already good enough as it is and we won't need to imitate computers. After all, it's not like we can just delete the sad_emotion.php and the angry_emotion.php and things like that from the "emotions" folder in out minds, is it? But there is one thing sthat I agree with you in this thread...We should really learn to harness our brain abilities and use our brain to the maximum.
