Ah, yes, i excluded those kind of people in my post by implication. You're right, only the legit should be allowed if indeed the people you talk about are only looking to cause trouble. Send the evildoers back, and then deal with them there.

Whiny Theists And Just-for-the-heck-of-it Atheists! Sheesh...
truefusion replied to sylenzednuke's topic in The Vent
[1]Good to hear. Or read, rather. [2]I am. [3][4]Theism isn't something one follows either. It's the belief in (a) supernatural being(s). [4]Of course the vice-verse is true also: The belief in non-super-natural things. Although some say, "Seeing is believing," some people still don't believe after seeing. It's like watching a magic show (but anyone can do magic ). -Definition of religion Atheism is the lack of belief in god. Because Theism exists as a religion, [1]Atheism must exist as a lack of religion seeing how for every value there's an opposite. While i agree that theism within itself is not really a religion, by definition, like you mention above, it is. But the beginning and ending part of that definition can be directed to atheism as well. But definition number 6 of religion is what should clear all doubt: [1]Yes, but this value isn't against religion, it's against the belief in a god (big "G" or small) or gods. For the "a" infront of theis[t/m] is derived from the Greek which is in the negative of something (which one might claim means "against"). Theism's defintion is: No where in the definition is the word "religion" found. Nor is it found in the other sources for the definition of "theism." Therefore, atheism is not against religion. Everyone believes in something—this is inevitable—and they of course may stick to it till the end: this is devotion in their faith; which fulfills definition number 6. Also, atheism can be divided in sects as well—in a more strict sense: for example, Darwinism, Neo-Darwinism, and of course those outside of these things, etc. But this can be said for agnostics as well, who are basically in the middle of things. [1]Indeed. I've heard stories about people who debate for a long time (finally) manage to bring people to their faith (whether it's for theism or atheism).[2]By "it's on," i hope you mean nothing in the negative, for Christianity is known for preaching "love thy enemy," and 'enemy' can be in many senses. [3]However, there's one problem: You won't know that they don't wanna hear it unless they tell you. But, yes, although we are indeed commanded to bring people to salvation, the faith, we can also learn from Jesus' example with the rich guy (Matthew 19:16-23; Mark 10:17-24; Luke 18:18-24). Jesus didn't chase the guy down after leaving saying, "What are you doing?! You must do this!" No, Jesus let the man walk, for the man was unwilling. -
If you wanna truly and effectively want this problem of your country fixed, you're going to have to fix the foreign country's problems first. Fix their problem, then they won't need to leave their country to find a better life. What's the UK considered, first-world? You think they're sending money back to their country for no reason? That's how bad it must be in their country. If you were them, you'd do the same to help your family back home. But of course this isn't gonna happen—ever—in my opinion, for the government only cares about themselves. They don't dive into foreign affairs unless it's their problem or if there's something to gain. You say clamp down on immigration, but i say don't try to block the problem—solve it. The problem is not in your country (even if you think and see that it is), it's in theirs.

[1]Using this argument i can claim that theism is not a religion, for it is the lack of belief in no god.[2]Buddhists are atheists—they don't believe in any god. Buddhists are just more spiritual and have (more) doctrines. -

You know, some people even doubt their own existence. But i wonder what you think about the debates here at Xisto. Are some of the debates here at Xisto included in your vent? You got me curious.

Nor can one prove (tangibly) the inexistence of God. For this reason, atheism should be considered a religion by all. -

Who knows. Probably 'cause your brain can't compute death, for it hasn't experienced it. Or probably due to some kind of natural fear. But there was a time where i almost didn't open my eyes upon landing, so i'm assuming that the dream ends there, and the darkness you see upon closing your eyes is what follows. -
Americans Really Do Take Things For Granted
truefusion replied to TikiPrincess's topic in General Discussion
Although the same can be said for anyone—for whatever it may be—it is true that those who have, after a while of having, will consider it normal and therefore take things for granted. It isn't only till it's taken away that they realize just how important such a thing was to them—but even then, they may still take it for granted but to a smaller extent. And yeah, people tend to revert back to their old ways. But this experience of yours should have sparked more than just what you've realized. For because you have realized what you realized, you should be inclined to help those in need more—not just those you know, but more importantly those you don't know. -
City By The Night Vector Wallpaper
truefusion replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
The first thing that got to me was the green, if it were darker—less visible—or a different color, in my opinion, would look better. And, yeah, two galaxies near the upper left may be better off with either just one medium sized one or mixed up instead of the same two. The brush work around the girl figure is good indeed. When i look at everything, i realize the bottom left where the text is feels "lonely." Maybe if there was a "lake" behind the text, it would make it feel more complete. Nice text. -

If we slept in trees, wouldn't we dream about falling off a tree rather than the usual cliff scenario? Have we then been sleeping near cliffs? It's interesting to know, however, that many people experience "the fall" (what i will temporarily call it for now) in their temporal dreams (which them falling may be the only thing that happened before waking up). I've never bungee-jumped or gone rock climbing, though i've seen these things on T.V., and yet i have experienced "the fall." Makes you wonder if a person have never witnessed a cliff, from what would they fall off from in these temporal dreams? Buildings? Or will they not have dreams of "the fall"? ...though it may include things of the past. -

On the subject of dreams, they don't necessarily have to be about what you've recently experienced. It could also deal with the past (i.e. further back than recent), future or just some random compilation. The random compilations are interesting, for you may find it difficult to figure out why you had that dream or there may be no connection to your life whatsoever but just so happened to be included in your own dream. Dreams may also help you answer questions which you yourself can't answer, you just have to ask. -
Heartbreak In The Worst Way Ever! ABSOULTELY CRUSHED:(
truefusion replied to sara207's topic in Dating And Relationships
There's no easy way to letting go. Expect more dark days to come, but also expect a day for it to end—for it will come to an end. I would suggest to stop contemplating on what should be and start contemplating on what is. I know you don't see this now, but believe me you will soon start accepting the fact that there may be others out there for you besides him. I would recommend that if and when you are planning on engaging in a relationship with another person, be sure to test them to see if they are truly the kind of person you want to be with the rest of your life. But be glad that you managed to figure out why he left, for it would have been far worse if you were still ignorant of that fact—for this will/should provide some closure. Actually, if a loved one would have died, it would probably be easier to deal with—to whatever extent it may be. It's a bit worse to know that they're still alive. -
Paint Shop Pro should be good enough for what you want to do—assuming it's something common, not too advanced. No need to worry about if you need Photoshop for this kind of work. But if you feel limited for some reason, then you may consider Photoshop.

I've come across that site before. If i remember correctly, in the end of it it says that you don't have to get rid of tables altogether, you can use them for the structure of your design—which is what i do when i don't feel like messing around with floats: they can be pretty bothersome. I've also ran into plenty of times where using a table element was better than going the "CSS" way. I say don't get rid of tables, just get rid of the unnecessaries.

It actually depends on you: You have to prove to the staff members that you'll follow the rules.

Nice graffiti one. The Goku one seems familiar; i'm sure i've seen the original. But if you want some nice ideas, check out some of the works of Hyung-Tae Kim. His style is pretty unique and creative. You can see his work for the games Magna Carta and War of Genesis. Some of the exaggerated parts of his art is what interests me the most, including the 3D perspectives of his art.

Besides Email Notification, What Does PayPal Offer?
truefusion replied to galexcd's topic in Websites and Web Designing
If i'm not mistaken, PayPal gives you the option to send the user back to your site at a specified URL after a payment. If you want, you can make a PHP page for whatever script you have in mind and have PayPal send the user there. -
32mbs of RAM? Oh my... Well, you can try Fluxbuntu—it is extremely minimal, it's like working with a terminal that has a gui, in my opinion. There's also DSL (seems to use the same desktop environment as Fluxbuntu). Not really sure how much RAM these distros take up, but it's probably made for 64mbs or less. Fluxbuntu is not in a stable version, but i tested it out via LiveCD and it worked fine, from what i saw. If your motherboard supports more RAM, i'd suggest getting more.

Not necessarily, 'cause the birth factor throws things into confusion. You brought into this theory both time and age. You mention that people could have been placed here at what ever age and be given the memory of said years. The moment i bear witness to some kind of birth—whether human or animal—the age portion of your theory becomes hard to believe, as far as i'm concerned. Even the Matrix movie doesn't go into the birth process in the "Matrix" world but only in the "reality" world. But there's one thing you don't explain: the future (death, life, etc {many other things that don't come to mind}).

Is There A Linux Distro With Widescreen Support?
truefusion replied to shadowx's topic in Operating Systems
I installed Kubuntu 6.10 on my friend's computer—he plugs his wide-screen TV to the computer—and it works fine. He also upgraded to 7.04 and it works fine there, too. So, if you haven't tried Ubuntu yet, go with it now. From what i got from your post, you seem to be more interested in KDE, so go with Kubuntu. -
[1]Then the earth would not be in the condition it is now.[2]Then there would be no such thing as "memory." [3]This statement changes everything except for my statement for number 1. Unless this outer unknown force made the earth look like it is now, history is not a lie—not to say that i believe in evolution. You must also bring in the fact that people are born through other beings. So simlpy being "placed here" is not possible. Many other factors may be brought in, but i'm not gonna go and list them all. An 8k-year-old earth is not an Abrahamic religion's belief. Even if you were to count the ages of the people mentioned in the Bible using the timeline provided—if i'm not mistaken—you'd get around/over 25,000 years of human existence, but that's just human existence, not how old the earth is. The Bible is not clear on exactly how old the earth is though it mentions "6 days". But one day to God is like a thousand years (Psalm 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8), so Who knows just how long these "days" are.

Any Recommendations On A Cooling System For A Laptop
truefusion replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Software
Keep your A/C on at all times—there, an effective product that doesn't require getting into the laptop. Besides that, i don't see how you're going to cool it down without getting in there and doing some manual work. Btw, this desktop computer i'm using goes to around 45 degrees celcius, and it works fine on hot days. -
PHP cannot do interactions with menus, PHP basically goes as far as making the navigation and its structure whether dynamically or not. If you use CSS with the navigation, then you can have some form of interaction with the navigation: roll-over effects, color effects, etc. Many of the "interactions" done in JavaScript can be done with CSS.
