1. Why not a bald eagle? Regardless, why degrade yourself? Do you think you're going to have the same mindset? Do you think you'll notice you've been reincarnated? Also, what's preventing you from becoming a plant, or a white blood cell, or a rock at the bottom of the ocean or on the moon? Or how do you know you weren't already a squirrel and no longer have the chance to be a squirrel? Since reincarnation is said to be a loop, what would happen when there's no longer something to be anymore? But to answer your question, i don't believe in reincarnation.
2. Yeah, it's not limited to just websites, it includes all kinds of media. If you could report the posts you've found that are against the rules here with the sources they copied it from, we'll take care of the matter.
3. Why use mirrors as proof? Just take a telescope and search for that flag they left there. Or did they take it back with them? Plus, the mirror could have just been something that an astronaut "dropped" which the moon somehow caught.
4. Weird, it redirects for me. I'ma assume that the redirect is from headers sent to the browser, 'cause i can't go back in my browser's history. What browser are you using? Did you try other browsers?
5. I know it's a third-person pronoun. Some KJV Bibles follow this trend, capitalizing "he" and "him" when in reference to God or Jesus—this is probably another reason why; a lot of today's Bibles don't follow this trend; they don't really state why, but they tell you that they don't. "LORD" is more of a title, which in the Bible's case takes the place of "Jehovah," but titles are capitalized as well. I'm not sure if there are words or punctuations in the Hebrew language that denotes such a thing, but in the Greek, an article (usually "ho") before "theos" (if the context fits) denotes emphasis, that is why it gets rendered "God" instead of "god." This is also the reason why "son" gets capitalized though it's not a name. So, quite possibly, the Hebrew may have something similar. (Actually, there may not be an instance where "του θεου" isn't rendered as "God" in today's English Bibles, but i haven't looked at each case.) To us, capitalizing these things come somewhat natural.
6. Many capitalize words that are attributed to God for many reasons, but the main reason for believers is for exaltation reasons—to point out that He is the biggest and best. Other reasons may involve the same reason why you capitalize your name: it's a name, and therefore proper grammar to capitalize.
7. The information will "stick" on the next page if you submit the information to a database, and then retrieve the information from the database and shove it into the textarea or other areas. Otherwise, closing the browser, closing the browser tab or window, moving to another page without submitting the information again, etc, will cause the information to disappear.
8. The following: SELECT * FROM members WHERE id='' will pass as valid or true, not returning boolean false. That is why you are not receiving an error. The result is no rows were selected, therefore no echo. I do believe coolcat50 is correct with the id variable.
9. I don't hate iTunes, i just hate the DRM that comes with the music. [1]I'd go with "mother" for birth-giving reasons. [2]Yes; however, you may find yourself compiling a lot of programs (a.k.a. dependencies) for one program; assuming the program is made for multi-platform (which a lot of them are). But Mac programs ported to Linux is a different story, as these programs are usually made to run under one architecture.
10. Have you tried blocking the user? Also, according to the AIM FAQs, AIM has a feature that allows you to report IM spam (they call it "spim"). So you may want to download the latest version of AIM, and when this spimmer messages you, report them.
11. Topic is resolved. Please PM any moderator to continue this discussion. Until then, this topic is closed.
12. I would assume they have two video cards in their computer, probably one with dual monitor support and an onboard one. This should allow for three monitors to be used for one computer. But three monitors is too much. Then again, i find just two monitors too much. If your motherboard has an onboard video card and is capable of having two other video cards, you could probably have up to five monitors. Good luck finding desktop space to place them all on, though. I wonder how that would affect your electric bill.
13. Basically you should have a table named "artists," with at least three columns (to keep it simple): id, name, songs. We'll assume you know how to make a MySQL database, table, etc. The code provided by alex7h3pr0gr4m3r just searches the table column "name" for the specified syntax in that table. alex7h3pr0gr4m3r's code assumes that you would use the GET method for the pagination (which is common for things like this). In the page where you want the names that the MySQL query picked up, place that code in.
14. While i'm waiting for the My Opera moderators to approve my Opera skin, i'll place it up for download here. I've set the mime type for the zip file so that Opera will automatically apply the skin upon download so you won't have to go through the hassle of restarting Opera after you've placed it into your Opera's skin directory. There are some areas i need to work on, which you may notice, which i will fix in a later version of the skin, but it shouldn't be much of a problem. It's not that hard to make an Opera skin, especially if you follow the advanced skin guide at the Opera Browser Wiki site. Thanks to Konqueror, it helped make testing out the skin more convenient. Anyway, on to the skin... For those who want to see it. For those who want to download it.
15. Spaces (and new lines) are optional. It should work so long as you follow the syntax, like the error says. SQL query parse errors can be annoying.
16. I'd say they're both the same for the Xbox 360 and PS3, but i haven't played COD4 online in the PS3. The only difference, i would assume, from those two consoles is that you pay to play online on the Xbox 360. But yeah, they could have added all those other features found on the 360 for computer, but i don't know why they didn't. I mean, they can still add it in via updates to the game, but i think that may only happen if you bug InfinityWard to the point where they'll give up. And i wanted to try Prestige mode on the computer, too... I'd say the only upside for the computer is being able to make your own server.
17. How many times a day do you interact with your boss? I would try to avoid any small or personal talk that doesn't deal with the business at hand. That should avoid most instances where it allows him to appear arrogant to you. You could also act like you have ADD in moments where you feel he's getting to you. But to be objective, what is it that he does or says that gets to you?
18. M'k. [1]Although it's bound to be marked as "bad publicity" by pro-choicers, i won't do away with the possibility regardless. However, in order to create bad publicity, there would have to have been some form of previous action.[2]Self-control only fails when the person wishes to act outside of self-control. I'm mostly against masturbation when the giver is the receiver and because of the effects it has on relationships of any kind because of it and of the thoughts that might go through a person's mind when doing it to themselves; it's a bad habit to pick up personally. I would lower my sex drive by doing either more productive things (e.g. exercising) or more time consuming things (e.g. playing video games). Rational thought may also come into play; you'd be surprised on how by just pausing to think can prevent many from doing something. But then again, i'm an INTj; however, the methods i provided can work for anyone. [3]Although one doesn't have to be a Christian to promote basic (religious) principles (which you'd find else where), i promote what i find to be useful, even if it's found in other religions or areas. And in order for me to label something "useful", it first has to go through some kind of analysis. But, yes, it is called teaching both methods at the same time. [6]For the first question: I think you're emphasizing on the fact that no one can be 100% certain. But wouldn't you say the certainty increases when you bring more people in for examination? That's why i said one doctor should not be enough to make the decision. However, i can state without a doubt that the fetus will die in the case of abortion. For the latter: You can pray regardless of what laws are in place. But in order to properly answer your question, i would have to research what were all the recorded causes of the mother dying due to the child and their occurences. For if not one were to show that the child took the mother's life without any outside interference, then yes, make abortion completely illegal. [7]Your statement concerning the fetus implies that it is up to the fetus to decide whether it is alive or not; that is, within context of my statement. But you did not say anything that would convince me to think otherwise. You begging to differ means that you believe an unconscious person is dead. And yes, i have heard of her, but she was an already born person; but i would have decided in favor of her parents. [10]Humm.. That doesn't make me see it any differently. Sorry. [11]Who said all abortions are because of rape victims? Also, i don't see how you came up with that question concerning my response for number 11. You've must've been reading a more previous part of one of my posts. But you may attempt to prove to me that abortion isn't immoral, unjust and selfish, if you want. [12]I meant to imply with my statement that he too is a conservatist, given its definition, so even if it is true what he said, i just find it weird that he would speak in a manner that sounds like he's speaking against himself. You do realize that the analogy you posted in the beginning of this topic deals with two separate bodies, of which you equated the unborn child to the violinist, right?
19. Mind posting a screenshot of that? I mean, jlhaslip has proof that it doesn't. Even if the software is in beta, the official IE blog said that it passed it, so there should have been no reason for IE8 to not pass the acid test. Did they not check before they released the beta? That's what it appears to be. Either that or Perhaps there's something that needs to be enabled that the IE developers aren't telling us?
20. Regardless of any information you're presented with, if you're worried about the health issues that come from having a wireless device, just place it in an area that is pretty open and away from you. If i'm not mistaken, most information presented deals with just one device, rather than several. For, of course, more than one device is bound to provide more RFE. And in an enclosed area, like in a car, is worse than outside in an open area. Even those with cell phones are told to get headsets if they don't want to place the cell phones on their body parts (like their waist).
21. Some parts lack clarity. The top two have too much open space, especially the second one. The choice in text and a bit of its placement for the third one. The size for some is a bit too much. Pretty good brushing, though. You may also want to consider working with different kinds of borders.
22. I guess the 30-credit limitation could be removed, also since we have a "bank." But i feel that it would be better if non-hosted members who have never been hosted are prevented from sharing. Meaning, members that are not hosted but were previously hosted should be able to give credits away to hosted members, but not to non-hosted. You'd fall into that category (i.e. if and when you become a non-hosted member), and it should also help prevent, to an extent, a user who uses one non-hosted account to support their hosted account. Of course, the "bank" should be disabled for non-hosted members—they don't need it. But is this too much of a hassle? I mean, we're not the ones coding the system.
23. I remember playing the demo back when i was younger. That game was pretty good for it being such a simple game (simple as in all you do is move around avoiding blocks). There's a PS2 version of the game, but i hear it's not as great as the original. I too tried looking for the game to purchase it, but the prices for it are too much. Game developers shouldn't stop production of good games, especially if the newer consoles have backward compatibilities.
24. No, they can still be left to users to decide via extensions. All these users have to do is wait for these extensions to come out, just like they did with the current ones. I was always fond of the minimalistic theme known as "Breeze." Although i'm not really the minimalistic type, that one attracted me the most. You can always downgrade if you want to limit yourself to Firefox. Version 3 isn't stable yet, i believe, so the installer for version 2 should still be available. What were the differences? And what did they have that other browsers didn't? They both always seemed the same to me. Firefox is mostly popular because of its extensions. Remove the extensions and the only reasons people would be giving themselves are, "It's not Internet Explorer" and "It has more 'support' (emphasis on the quotations) for websites."

The only reason i prefer Firefox 3 over version 2 is because they've (finally) added extra support for the CSS property "display." That is, they gave it "table-cell" support. This is one of the main reasons why it passes the acid test. As a web designer, this is a relief.
25. I believe it is better left the way it is. The only cheating of the credit system that would come from this is if a non-hosted member supports a hosted member, and these two are the same people. Other than that, i can't really think of any other valid reason where the current system doesn't already take care of the other problems that would come from this. Also, non-hosted giving credits to a hosted member is the only reason i can think of on why one would want this enabled, every other reason i can think of doesn't add up. What are all the reasons you want this to be enabled? So that i may compare and see if i left out a reason.
