  1. I can't find any good Pokemon images for this request, they just aren't lively enough and don't provide much of an array of Pokemon, if any. Would one Pokemon be sufficient?

  3. Were these the same people that said the following?: So it is a fact that it is not the religion but the followers. And if a religion were to preach foolishness, you could accuse the religion, but if the follower were to exclude themselves from their judgment, then they aren't taking responsibility for their own actions. However, accusing the religion mostly comes from ignorance: an assumption that is taken up when people only observe but not interact. Being dedicated to prayer and attending church can involve helping others. In fact, by going to church you can very well help others. One of my personal favorite churches i visit hold a feast almost every weekend (when they can afford to), and they allow others to come in and eat. Many nearby homeless people have been known to come in and be served. By being dedicated to prayer you help prolong this want to help. Also, many who go to church seek spiritual healing; hope goes a long way. So, prayer and attending church can be and is productive. And since you mention Christianity you cannot say that by doing good one will enter Heaven—this is the opposite of Christianity's teachings. Christianity teaches that the moment one does an evil act they no longer are considered a good person, since good is the abscence or complete lack of bad or evil. By believing that you can enter heaven through good works though you've done bad works in the past is to believe that you are a good person. The average person performs evil several times for each one good deed. Many go on in their daily lives not knowing that they've committed an evil act in that day. Although you say "basic set lines" of doing good, how many people do you know follow these "basic" set lines? Everyone needs a reason to do something—whether they're a believer or not, whether it is beneficial or not, and whether they can tell you their reason for doing something or not. However, what are these "basic" set lines, and how many "lines" are there? If humans could make up their own set lines for entering heaven, then heaven is just make belief (to them), and you are bound, if not certain, to see a lack of dedication to do good. However, it is also fully possible to do good and still be a bad person. For example, one may do good public deeds but fail in their private time. Now-a-days, that should be expected. Many people take up the belief that followers of certain religions lack sense or some form of intellect. Because of this, many believe, because of how convicted the believer is to their religion, that the believer is blindly following their religion. But this is not an absolute. In fact, it requires deep thought in order to understand many, if not most or all, religions. However, everyone will state anything—whether just or not—to not follow something; but something just or, in this case, "i don't want to" is acceptable. I am unsure of what church or facility you've or others have been to that have brainwashed people for their own benefit which in turn makes them unproductive, but you are capable of suggesting things according to their ability; however, you may find that they already do such productive things.
  4. That reminds me of an old movie i saw, and civilization freaked out when a male appeared. Not really. Even if the bone marrow only provided the egg with female-producing hormones (or whatever it is it provides), your statement assumes that all females would in turn become independant. I can see female homosexuals who don't want anything to do with a man jumping over this, but i don't see why heterosexuals would. Also, assuming this is quite new, the procedure to even perform such a task, i'm sure, would cost hundreds of dollars for the general public, if not more. I, personally, don't see it as something that'll in the long run become beneficial—whether it is for society or the person themselves. In your first statement you said "may," which implies uncertainty. Because of this uncertainty, i'm quite sure people will be testing their theories with human life. And even if there were no birth defects because of this unnatural way of birth and assuming only women will be born from this unnatural form of birth, there will always be certain, life-sustaining jobs that would require women to exert as much work into the job as a man would. But not all women are body builders, and some only do it to show off at contests.
  5. It may have to do with your PHP.ini configuration. I remember once during testing of one of my scripts where i tried to include a file outside of my DocumentRoot: it gave me access denied, saying that i could not access files outside of my DocumentRoot. Browsing the PHP.ini configuration, i noticed that the section "Paths and Directories" had include_path commented out. I uncommented that line for my operating system, included the directory i wanted access to, and restarted the Apache server. This allowed me to include a file outside of my DocumentRoot. Try this out and see if it helps.
  6. I once saw an advertisement for anti-spyware that loaded my C: drive into an iframe—quite ingenious i might add. But the code you provided in the HTML bbcode should work in the browser, since you're providing the absolute path. In PHP, you do not include "file:///" in functions or statements; in print and echo statements it's optional. I am unsure of any other possible reasons why it would not work.
  7. Your friend sounds like an search:ESFP, so it may not be something that deals with her past life on why she acts like this. Helping her realize the big picture may get her to cut down (assuming she's an ESFP), even if by a little. But she may forget what you told her if not repeated. However, i would recommend to only confront her not when it affects you but her. Also—assuming she's an ESFP—they don't like to be restricted, and may feel offended even for non-offensing things, so be sure to properly plan out how to go about in discussing things with her. And remember, you don't need these dudes.
  8. If she can find this topic via your internet name and, according to you, have discussed this with her a few times, i'm quite sure she is fully capable of figuring out that you're talking about her. If she's gotten mad previously by the way you confronted her, then if you were to confront her again on the matter, she may bring up a "here we go again" attitude towards you. Changing the way you confront her may not help, either. Just let time take its toll, i say. Let people find out who she really is. And like rayzoredge said, forget about these type of guys. Why chase after or want those who are in it for looks? Don't go for those who seek to please the eye, go for those who seek to be faithful.
  9. I came into this topic thinking that there was a Wikipedia article on Xisto. Let's consider the idea for a moment: What would one write about Xisto on it that wouldn't make it sound or look like an advertisement? Now let's assume that there is one: How are people going to find it without the help of Xisto itself? Who's going to maintain it? Who will keep watch over it in case someone wants to debunk Xisto?
  10. If they were as smart as us, they would find a workaround solution to their inability to exercise their "smartness," which would in turn be them exercising their "smartness." But if we were to go back a few 100,000 years, according to your statement, we would not see these primates (assuming they existed) be-ing hunted down by the creatures of today, for, like you said, "we all evolved." Currently, i have had no experience with a vegetarian. So far, everyone i personally know is a meat eater. Although, i prefer to not eat meat every day. And if that were to be the case, i'd prefer nothing that deals with pork. I see pork as half fat and half meat. I'll take chicken any day, though. :9
  11. Because it'll ruin the purpose of the Battles forum. Battle requests have been kept separate from actual voting topics since the start.

  13. Opera's not that far behind. From what i've seen, Opera has implemented the most HTML5 features out of all the popular browsers. Firefox has implemented some, but not a significant amount; i don't know about IE, doubt it, though; i'm not sure about Konqueror either.
  14. The graphics card on this computer cannot support Compiz or Beryl, so i can't really help you much on this topic, but on my friend's computer that uses Ubuntu 7.10, Compiz works great for him. K-menu > System > KSysGuard. Tab "Process Table." I am inclined to say that that's a KDE thing, as i remembered something similar to it in the KDE settings, but it's not really on by default in Kubuntu. I'll check it out and report back.
  15. Ah, i wish i still had this one article i saw that showed Linux running a super computer no problem. I think i saw the article at linuxdevices.com. The super computer had 1,024 dual-core processors all running under one Linux kernel. The computer was being used by NASA according to the article, i think. I'll see if i can dig up the article again. Found it: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  16. Whenever you pull something out of your database that has slashes added to it, always strip the slashes using the stripslashes() function. It is better for you to add slashes to any input that's going into the database for security reasons. But it's better to use the mysql_real_escape_string() function than addslashes().
  17. Given the grammar, you're saying that you did see a program that was made for Linux in stores. But you can't judge a system for its lack of certain support if it is out of their hands, that would be unfair. Microsoft, however, could have implemented all the support it had from Windows XP into Vista, but they didn't. It is not unfair to judge Vista for lack of support, because it wasn't out of Microsoft's hands. But Linux is increasing in popularity, and, although it may take a few years, we will soon be see-ing a bigger increase in support. As a side note, Ubuntu 7.10 (and, i'm assuming, later versions) supports my 8600GT graphics card out of the box. This i find to be good news, for WINE has been reported (i saw screenshots) that it can run Call of Duty 4. Some have reported that multiplayer works also.
  18. You could if you were calm(er). You can still come up with the same reasons to not allow something without the Church. If you were to promote proper Justice in order to make it consistent, abortion would be almost inexistent. The only time i would see where abortion would be allowed is when both the child and mother are—without a doubt—at risk of dying if one is not terminated; better to save one than lose both. And if the child is going to die no matter what without taking the mother with it, then let the child die naturally—just in case it does live. Depends on the competition and what you're promoting. Anyone can make promises and not keep them; it happens a lot. It's all about convincing (or deceiving) the public—with whatever tactics you throw at them. But i wouldn't vote for you, you did not pull me in. But i don't vote in these things anyway.
  19. I believe this explains everything. In your onmouseover and onmouseout events, you have single quotes in them. Escape them, then refresh the page.
  20. By "Untitled", do you mean in the Grub bootloader or any boot loader? If so, you won't have to use any partitioner, you can just edit the bootloader configuration instead, and rename it.
  21. The only illusions of planes are the ones that passengers see—if any. Those who look up at the sky see real planes. Given the explanation i previously gave, be sure that planes do indeed fly. There is no need for u.. err, the government to deceive the people while they're still on the ground. For those that look up at the sky, they have no idea where the plane is going. For those in the plane, they can only see so far. Oh, and do you think the geographical maps you've seen in school or in stores, or globes even, actually portray the exact representation of the earth's surface? On the contrary, w.. err, the government wants you to think that the U.S. is in the western part of the earth. These maps and globes further delude the human population. You think governments all over the world are not united? They only create diversions by claiming WMD in other countries and other stories. But no, you two aren't fooled by these diversions. Why? What is your intent when you figure everything out? What will you do when you've gained as much knowledge as the Penguins? Be forewarned, you're swimming in deep waters, and the Penguins won't be around to help pull you guys out.
  22. Width does not work with all inline-level elements. My code only hides the "inactive" ones by default, but i am unsure on what to tell you for the solution. If Internet Explorer lacks, then it lacks. You could try to persuade visitors to switching to a better browser. It's interesting that IE7, though it had a noticable improvement with CSS, lacks such an option. I am unsure of any IE CSS hacks (there may not be any) for this. I'm quite sure i can turn my tab script to use tables instead of divisions, even if it creates unnecessary clutter.
  23. Okay, for Linux this will be easy. First download Firefox for Linux from the Mozilla website. Extract its contents into an accessible folder. If you want to change the default homepage manually, edit the file browserconfig.properties. I'ma leave the making of the HTML page you want up to you. Now when you're done with that, we'll go to the manual installation of the extensions. Navigate to your account's Firefox configuration directory, should be here: ~/.mozilla/firefox. Enter any directory with this syntax, [random set of characters].default, until you see the extensions folder. Rename it to extensions~ and create a new folder named extensions. Open up Firefox and download all the extensions you want to include in your Firefox package. After doing so, copy that newly created extensions folder into the Firefox directory that you extracted after downloading Firefox. Now, in your account's Firefox configuration folder (~/.mozilla/firefox), delete the extensions folder, and remove the "~" in the other one to restore your old extensions. Zip up the Firefox directory which you have extracted, and there you go. Everything should work the way you want it. Okay, for Windows i'm not really sure how to go about it. I guess you can make your own installer, and then make another one that runs the Firefox Windows installer and that installer that you made. Other than that, i'm not sure what to tell you.
  24. You can probably pull it off like this:body {direction: rtl;}body * {direction: ltr !important;}I remember running into a website like over, i think, 4 years ago that had the scrollbar on the left side. Took me a while to figure out what attribute they used and where. Also, i'm not quite sure if this CSS will work in all browsers, if any; i haven't tested it out in any.
  25. If you know how to manipulate this, you could probably get the scroll bar on the left side of the browser while maintaining the left-to-right direction of the text. That would be somewhat interesting.
