I'm getting into hosting many websites, so I use much space and BW. I chose Acidhost.net when I was looking for a webhost.They provide 5GB of disk space and 50gb of BW(5/50) for 6 dollars a month. It's fairly cheap and they are reliable. Last year they had 100% uptime, this year just a big lower. You can also go for the 3/20 plan, for 3 dollars a month. Check it out.

I did this with my website, moving hosts before.Do you have cPanel? Like Xisto. If you do you can create a full cPanel backup, which will backup everything expect the SQL Db's.But you're right. Make a SQL DB backup, use phpmyadmin. Then all you have to do is re upload the phpBB files to your new host, and restore the db. And it should all be good to go.

The WHM script runs every hour, if you're not above 3 credits it will not activate your website. Considering the server just went through harddrive changes, that could also be the issue for the WHM script not re-newing your account. I suggest you bring your credits above 10 and keep it there all times, if not more. It's clearly stated that if you run out of credits your hosting will be terminated, this is your fault that it happened. Next time, please keep your credits up. Uptime of your site related to your credits is your issue - no credits, no hosting. Simple as that.Support staff don't sit at there computer all day, please allow 1-2 days atleast for a responce.

Kinda disturbing....I just saw this movie today

I dislike it when people bash windows, but don't provide any backup to there statement. It seems like blind thrashing to me. If you've tryed the final release it's awsome. It's not as "buggy" as people say it is. But seeing as how beta is done and over with, and the final is out, I'm closing this thread. The most common cause of viruses is porn, so unless you plan on looking up porn 24/7 you really don't have much to worry about. It all depends on what you do. And if you need to look at it, bad enough, don't bash windows, just get a Mac.
