  1. If you want to upload the line work, sure i'd like to have a play. I envision a bit of chiaroscuro coloring style for my version, set in a red apocalyptic world. Unfortunately ill have to use traditional medium's, or have a go in Xara Xtreme as i don't have any drawing type thingies for the computer .Actually, i will use Xara if you wish to upload a file (its new to me).
  2. Although I'm not American, I'm of the opinion that he wasn't stupid but was very awkward when fulfilling the role as the president. Wasn't pressure put on him by his father to go for presidency? If that is true, i don't believe he would have ran for presidency otherwise. He seemed like the kind of personality who 'didn't' want the limelight on him.
  3. Generally we are reasonably a safe country to live in for foreigners, if you can find the right "areas". We do have strong 'Multicultural' mixes in our country and our government promotes this. But after saying that, there are realities and trends occurring in Australia that are impossible to ignore. First of all its a public fact that we are a country that makes each other feel like losers. People are also becoming more outspoken about their dislikes towards each other and are becoming more increasingly belligerent for no apparent reason but to only "share the hate around". When it comes to race related issues or otherwise, unfortunately things are changing in Australia when you compare our country to ten years ago, people just don't seem to care, kids are losing respect for their elders, etc.I live in a low-medium class socio-economic region within Northern Adelaide. Today i went to the service station to pick up some items and also to pick up a few rental DVD's from the video store. I was just walking around having a browse of videos and picked some up with mum. The result on this occasion was two people having a "go" at me just by glancing at me. I'm a regular looking Caucasian just looking to pick up some videos, nice guy, no agenda's.I have a lot of troubles from neighbor's which i just don't want to be apart of and can't understand why they hate me and each other so much. So then i tend to wonder whats going on?, this is such a regular occurrence now and many peoples only motive seems to be sharing the hate. Why don't we all TALK about this? No one does. So i never get perspective on this issue as much as i would prefer.M8, I'm a regular looking Australian who still gets a very hard time. I suggest if you want a good education there are places in "Europe" such as Sweden that offer high levels of education also, at least until things start turning around for Australia.
  4. For sure, the only reason a billionaire would want to hold onto their many billions is either because of social status or because they have it tied too much into business stock. If its because of status than i reckon it is a 'weak' moral reflection on the individual and it wouldn't impress people too much anyway. If its tied to business stock than the proposed system by Bill Gates would benefit, but still i don't think we have a balanced system in which one person can acquire so much money when considering the destitute poverty found elsewhere in the world.
  5. Its kinda like Bill Gates, shortly after quitting as head of Microsoft he plays the protagonist hero in "Time" magazine where he offers his ideas about a newer balanced form of capitalism that society would benefit from. As far as my opinion goes about this, why doesn't he put his money where his mouth is? If he wants to help society why doesn't offer more funds into charitable organizations, not the comparatively measly amount he has contributed in the past (he's got too much money to spare). I don't think anyone is fooled about many of these billionaires, false modesty indeed.
  6. Its great for gaining control of your mind. For example in the past, when i went to bed after a busy day id find myself awake for an additional 2 or 3 hours more than usual. But by meditating i can focus and calm myself into sleep within 30 minutes.
  7. My dreams are always in color even the more simpler ones, some are very deep colored dreams while others are washed out tinted colors.
  8. Hey Nitin, yeah at the moment I'm using a laptop. Its a IBM Thinkpad with Radeon 7500 graphics although this is 2001 technology it still plays a lot of modern games, you'd be surprised! In 3dmark 03 i got a score of something like 4995 (overclocked graphics). Which is not bad if you compare it to my mums laptop which got around 9300 and is a HP laptop with a Geforce Go 7400 (she got it new last year). The main problem is the Radeon on my laptop only has 32 mb dedicated memory. It could potentially play a game like "painkiller" well, but becomes buggy if the resolution is set to high, anything over (640X480) will be too much. Still very good card for its time. I might consider a dell for my next PC, that is if i can put my own selected graphics card in of course. I reckon i might try for the next gen graphics cards when they come out, this may last me a few years like my old PC.
  9. I have actually played GTA!. Ive played GTA1,2,3 Vice City and San Andreas. Ive always liked GTA, especially vice city but they were starting to go past my system spec with San Andreas, at which point i wasn't really motivated enough to purchase another computer. Maybe when they come out with the next GTA, i might get my next gaming rig.
  10. I like it!, the proportions appear correct except for the neck, but still even that looks intentional. Are you going to color it? I reckon a color scheme where the details of the arm and stomach are accentuated to look like "brutal guts" and feathering it into natural colors would be interesting. Although after saying that, it may take emphasis off the face which is typically a priority... Anyhow, well done!.
  11. I used to be a big gamer, but then realized how much of an unproductive use of my time it was amounting to be. Generally though, the few games i might play now, feel or seem like something Ive played before. Playing games like "world of goo" recapture my interest as they are original, not some shallow rehash experience.
  12. Whenever i get sick i usually like to be left alone in bed. My mum is good though, in the past she would usually quietly knock on the door and ask if i wanted lemonade cause that was always our thing if someone got sick. I think the last time i got sick was when i picked up a flu bug which also gave some sort of ear infection.I was living by myself at the time and was practically crawling around everywhere in the house, because the vertigo i was experiencing constantly made me feel like i was falling off a cliff.
  13. I get some flak from the family due to the amount of time i spend on PC/Laptop, what ever i can find... But then i try to engage them in conversation to quickly find we don't share many interests, so that's difficult... I imagine if computers hypothetically became non-existent, id soon find myself spending the time behind books and bashing away on a typewriter.
  14. Its good the poor thing died in 10 minutes, i always take sympathy on animals with issues like that.
  15. Half a year i would have said a dog, but since then living with mum and having her cat around has caused me to believe they are about even. On the one hand - a dog will typically want to engage your attention more often so you can play games with it, but on the other hand they are more inclined to cause an unwanted fuss.Whereas a cat will usually do its own thing and if it decides it wants it, it may allow you to play around a bit. Then you get the cat/dog personalities that are just evil and try to do whatever they want, when they want.
  16. I like Porsche for their excellence in engineering standards and groundbreaking technology. I also appreciate the fact that they forgo extravagance in favor of functionality. The 959 is a marvel for its day particularly the suspension and 4wd system. The much newer Carrera GT is a well developed super car with many advances and the inclusion of the V10 F1 inspired engine is unique. I think it a bit of pity that Porsche slightly undercut the potential power of many of their cars in favor of better/safer handling. I guess its the price they have to pay for more market share in the super car arena.
  17. Has anyone played this game? Its very good, its a fps released around 04/05 and is bit like the old doom style of play but with suburb physics, detailed graphics and also great performance. Each level has a different theme for example - Airforce bases, persian castles, factories, docks, etc - every level being unique.Although the story only provides a general setting for the levels to go from, its not bad. A guy finds himself in purgatory after a car accident. He is told that if he kills of some of the generals of hell he will gain his way into heaven and prevent a war between heaven and hell. He accepts as he has little alternative. Apparently there is a new painkiller game named "Painkiller: Resurrection" i cant wait to have a go at this one.
  18. The Undying boss in Clive Barkers "The Undying". After an hour of trying to defeat this boss (find its weak points) i gave up and put some cheats in just so i could see the finish.
  19. Eddy Gordo in Tekken 3 was good to play and very easy to bluff moves. His fighting style Brazilian "Capoeira" is very good to watch as its an interesting blend of fighting and tribal dancing.
  20. Oblivion was really good graphics etc but Morrowind had better story and more imagination. Imagine how good Morrowind would have been with Oblivion's graphics!
  21. I'm not sure what the most realistic driving simulator is anymore but GTR-2 has excellent performance on PC. Its also interesting for its output into the Motec analyzer, which proved useful for setting up the car.
  22. I actually prefer the older high stakes. Although the physics wasn't as realistic when you compare it to today's NFS it was a very fast game, especially when you hoped in the mclaren!. I preferred the very linear style game play also. Porsche unleashed is a bit dated but good for any fellow Porsche fans
  23. Resident evil 4 on Pc wasn't too bad. You could see it was an obvious example of a port from Playstation 2. I consider it a shame that i never played it on Playstation 2 as that would have rocked!
  24. I agree with others I enjoyed ocarina of time the most, Zelda on Super Nintendo was very good and still would be if i hadn't already finished it.
